  My family had a wonderful experience staying in this home! It was exactly as pictured here on the website. The kids, ages 3, 9 and 12, thoroughly enjoyed the game room. The game machine, with its "old school" games, was a big hit with the adults. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the pool at the house because we were at the parks from early in the morning till late at night. We did get to enjoy the pool at the club house on our one day of "rest." We did have a few minor issues come up, but Kevin and Bill were quickly on top of it. Bill emailed us after a few days just to make sure things were going well, and Kevin even dropped by to check on us. We really appreciated this! The area of this home couldn't be better; so close to everything! Parks, restaurants, Super Target were all so close that we only used a little more than half a tank of gas during the entire week, and we went out every day! We're all talking about doing another Disney trip in the future and this will definitely be where we stay!

  This home rental experience was awesome. An excellent option for a larger group travelling together to minimize expenses but also have an excellent accommodation. Bill, the home owner, provided additional information that assisted our group immensely as it was a first visit to Orlando for many in the group. For most VRBO homes, the only contact is with a property manager and even then it can be hard to get more than a automatic email reply from some of them. Dealing directly with the homeowner for this house was very helpful for us first time users of VRBO. The only issue we had was that the pool heater did not work so our pool was too cold to use and the hot tub was definitely not an option. Coming from 8 months of cold in SK, we were really looking forward to that part of our experience. We did access the community pool which is awesome as well but rather busy. The property managers were very responsive in trying to fix the heater but were unsuccessful during our stay.

You had a very important reason to be in Orlando – your wedding – so we wanted to make sure everything was just perfect for you and your wedding party and extended family. I was sorry to hear that we missed the mark with the pool heater, but I appreciate you referencing the effort made by Kevin and his team to try to resurrect it. I know that Kevin and his staff visited our home 3-4 times from Saturday to Monday to try to fix it on their own, but they were unsuccessful in getting the maximum heat setting to work. Most pool companies are closed on the weekends, but what compounded the problem is that Monday was the US President’s Day holiday, so there were no pool companies open that day either. When they reached the pool company on Tuesday, the first available appointment was Wednesday, and the part was not received until Friday, the day of your departure. Normally our pool can hold the heat for a couple of days even without the heater running at full capacity, but there were three nights in a row during your stay when the evening temperature dropped into the 30’s or 40’s, and that was too much for the heater to handle. Fortunately, by Sunday of that week the pool temperature was back up to 85 degrees, but I know that didn't help during your dates. I was happy to hear that the wedding was a big success, and I’m glad the heater issue didn't deter you from leaving a 5 star rating for our home. I would love the opportunity to host you and your family again, and assuming we don’t have too many nights with temperatures below 40 degrees (which is rare in Florida!!), I’m confident you’ll be very comfortable in the pool.   Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for 6 nights and had 8 in our party. We were all so very happy with the accommodations and activities that we wish we had planned more downtime to enjoy.

On one of our first visits to Windsor Hills, before we purchased our home, we rented a different home , but we had park tickets and/or activities planned for every day of our visit. Imagine my dismay when I was ready to go to Disney again, and my kids said they wanted to go to the waterslide at the community pool! Because we had already purchased our Disney tickets, we didn't want them to go to waste, but for our future trips we always made sure to plan at least 2 "house days" where we would enjoy our home and the great amenities Windsor Hills has to offer.   We rented this house after looking at many rental properties in the area. The owner was very helpful in describing and showing why the house he owns is a great place to rent. He was right on the money. The house is very up to date and clean. The location of the house is perfect. I walk away from the clubhouse, NO neighbors behind you, and most of all the South Facing aspect. The pool and patio get sun the whole day, while in looking at other houses in the neighborhood, many got little sun. Pool was a comfortable, hot rub was hot when we wanted it to be. Game room was used every day. It was a hit with each of the 3 generations that stayed in the house. All in all I would very much recommend this house to rent.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

The sun sits low in the sky in November, December, January, and February, which produces shadows off the homes, and in many cases, those shadows end up completely covering the pool area. Because our pool faces south, and because there are no homes behind us, there are no shadows covering our pool, which is especially helpful in the fall and winter months. I'm glad you had an opportunity to visit the clubhouse - very very close to our home - and I'm happy all three generations loved the game room!   Our family (and extended family) stayed at this home for 8 days and it was truly wonderful. From the very first email that was exchanged with the owners, the experience was excellent. The location was great - an easy drive from the airport (even for someone who had never been to Orlando before), literally a stone's throw from Disney and other theme parks, very close to GREAT shopping, and close to every restaurant you could possibly imagine. The house itself was perfect - clean as a whistle, decorated nicely and very spacious. The property manager was extremely pleasant and helpful (came over right away to help us get the television going). The community of Windsor Hills is just lovely - in the heart of everything but you feel like you are miles away from it all. A gated community with round the clock security made us feel very safe. The club house was a hit with the kids - especially the games room and pool with water slide. We will definitely rent this home again on our next trip to Florida! It was about as perfect as it gets when renting a private home.

  I cannot recommend this villa and owner highly enough. We a party of 4 adults and 5 children stayed in the villa for 17 nights this year during summer 2012. From the point of booking all of our questions were answered and advice and information was plentiful. The villa far surpassed our expectations inside and out. It was completely private, and the views and privacy at the rear meant that we could completely relax in comfort. Proximity to the amenities in Windsor hills meant that although far enough away to feel quiet it was just a 5 minute stroll to the shop and pool. So handy!! We loved this villla and would certainly stay here again - we would not hesitate to book again!!!

  We had the great pleasure of staying at this BEAUTIFUL home from Sept. 27/12 to Oct 5/12. This house looks exactly like the photos! Very clean and well maintained! The games room has something for everyone, and, I'm sure, is well used by families traveling with children / teens! The bedrooms are exquisite, and the mattress we slept on was so comfortable; something that that is greatly appreciated after a long day at a theme park or shopping! I'm sure the other mattresses are just as comfortable! The living room is beautiful and very comfortable if one wants to watch TV, or to enjoy one of the numerous DVDs that are at the house! Our favorite spot was the patio and pool area! We spent almost all of our time around, or in the pool! The pool is south facing which means SUN on the pool all day!!! The pool is not overlooked by other houses, and the green space behind is peaceful and quiet; just what one needs to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Bill and Donna are superb hosts. We encountered a couple of MINOR problems shortly after arriving. I emailed Bill and Kevin (property manager), and Kevin phoned us, I swear, just seconds after sending the email. Bill also called shortly thereafter to make sure the problems were solved. He also checked in by email part way through our stay, just to ensure we were enjoying our stay! Bill was very helpful, and conscientious before, during and after our stay. Prior to our vacation, Bill emailed us information regarding attractions and shopping that we might be interested in while staying at Windsor Hills. There is also a binder with great information regarding shopping, theme parks etc. If you get a chance go to Old Town! There are shops, rides and restaurants Saturday night is "cruise night" , showcasing beautiful cars! This home is perfect for extended families to gather for a great vacation; enough room for everyone to have their privacy, and to just "hang out" and relax! We definitely recommend this house,(or Bill and Donna' s other house next door; we have also stayed there). Our only regret...............we couldn't stay longer!

  We just returned from a wonderful week in Florida with our son, his wife, and their 2 boys - ages 4 and 8. Our memories will last us for the rest of our lives! Staying at Bill and Donna's home was such a positive experience. The kids were SO excited to see their rooms after viewing them on the VRBO site. The pool was the perfect place for everyone after a busy day at each of the parks. It allowed all of us to just kick back and relax! The game room was, of course, a favorite spot for everyone too. We found this house to be just as it was presented in the listing. Everything was clean and neat, and the house is in a perfect location. It was the first place we've ever rented that we found to be in such wonderful condition! Bill could not have been any more helpful. My questions and concerns were always answered in a very timely fashion and the notebook in the house with tips, directions to various attractions, etc. was most helpful. We have never had a more positive experience and I will be sure to pass on the info on this home if friends are looking for a place to rent in Orlando. Thank you so much Bill and Donna!

  My family (grandparents and two families with boys 9,3, and 3) stayed at the Burns home during our recent trip to Disney. We had a great time - weather was nice (except for a couple of rain showers), parks were not extremely crowded, and the house was fantastic! It was even better than described - just like brand new, superbly decorated with exquisite furnishings, large rooms, great layout for multiple families, comfy sofas, and the best ever big-screen HDTV. The little boys REALLY loved the themed bedrooms and the pool and the big boys enjoyed the game room. It was great being so close to Disney! We liked being able to check-in at the gate and having a keypad instead of a key - made everything really convenient. Bill and Donna were great to work with - answered all my questions promptly and courteously, provided lots of helpful information, checked in with us while we were there, and followed up after we got home - all to make sure everything went well! And their property manager, Kevin, is amazing. Called him once and he was at the house almost before I hung up the phone! We really hated to leave. The day after they got home the two three-year olds asked to go back to their "Disney House". Thank you Bill and Donna for helping make our trip to Disney a very memorable experience!

We program a key code that is unique to each family, so there is no need to stop off at a rental agency in some unfamiliar part of Orlando to pick up your keys.
