We spent a glorious time with our children and grandchildren at this heaven on earth "cabin" during August 2012. We held the family reunion for a week and then we took advantage of the extra weeks to recover and decompress. The grandkids loved the games and seeing the dear and there was plenty of room for them to romp and for the adults to huddle and reminisce. The kitchen was very well provisioned with cooking implements and the other amenities were delightful. Plenty of things to do in the area too! Kurt and LaVayne were delightful owners, and very attentive to our needs. We highly recomemend this venue for any family.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We were looking for a "knock your socks off" location for a family reunion, and this place was absolutely incredible. It was a delight to see guest's reactions when they first arrived and stepped inside. Referring to it simply as a "cabin" doesn't do it justice. Gorgeous setting in the aspens. Daytime temperatures at the 8,600 foot elevation in July didn't get over 80 degrees. Deer came around practically every day and on a few occasions some moose! Peaceful, cool, relaxing setting. This was the ideal place to take a break from the busy-ness of the world and recharge our batteries. The accomodations were excellent -- everything was first-rate, down to the smallest detail. Clean, well-maintained, and the owners were a delight to work with and very accomodating. We had 21 people including 12 grandkids, and there was room to spare. The upstairs game room was a delight for young and old. Outdoors we enjoyed frequent walks, and there's a nearby lake within walking distance where we took the grandkids kayaking. Although high in the mountains it was still just a short drive from other fun spots like Park City, Midway, and Sundance. If you want a memorable experience for all ages that is priced right, this is it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We stayed here with a group of 11 people in October 2011. What a beautiful time of year it was! As we drove to the cabin through Provo Canyon, we were amazed at how beautiful the fall leaves were. But, as we drove the last couple of miles to the cabin, we fell in love with the beautiful aspen trees that lined the road as we drove there. They were all a golden yellow, and it was absolutely gorgeous. As we sat in the cabin on the leather couches, I loved watching out the big picture windows to see the leaves fall from the trees almost like it was snowing. My parents appreciated the nice bedroom they were in on the main level so they were not going up and down stairs. Our children loved playing on the fun game tables upstairs, doing puzzles, and watching movies. We had fun spending quality time as a family and cooking in the big kitchen. Everything we needed to make amazing meals were there. It was fun to watch the 2 big bucks out the kitchen window in the basement. They would hide under the deck. They were 4 & 5 point bucks, and must have known that hunting season was coming soon. They were there pretty much the entire trip. We loved going on walks and walking through the beautiful leaves. Every corner we turned was a new beautiful view. Thanks for the fun time we had. We don’t get enough quality family time, and it was nice to be together as a big group, but also have plenty of room to spread out.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I organized a small family gathering during the month of August at this property. I am pleased to report that I could not have been more thrilled with the accommodations. The cabin was quite large and accommodated our group rather comfortably. The amenities were numerous from the big screen television, to the pool table and arcade-type games, to the large and professionally furnished kitchen and super comfortable beds. The furnishings were all tastefully chosen and are of the highest quality. The vaulted ceilings, along with the open floor plan between the family room and kitchen felt spacious and inviting. Should you choose to stay at this property, you will surely not be disappointed.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
