Pro - great location, close to lots of beaches, restaurants, in a neighborhood. Building is new, great sunset view from balcony. Nydia who manages it, lives right next door and is very helpful. Cons - the dog right next door who LOVES to bark - at all hours (but you have to feel sorry for him and his pal, as they are on 4' chains and ignored) and the roosters who never sleep. No screens on the windows!? I never used the air conditioner, as the fresh breezes are part of the island experience - but maybe if you have all the windows closed and the air on, the dogs and roosters aren't as loud. New building, however the toilet seat doesn't quite match and is chipped beyond belief - rather disgusting, as was the mold on the clear plastic shower liner - and no where to put shower items. Only a shelf above the sink to put toiletries, which sticks out a bit, making it almost impossible to wash your face. Absolutely no food items - would be nice if they left the salt & pepper, oil spray, ketchup & mustard that almost everyone buys and only uses a little of.....also no laundry detergent. Would be nice if there was a bamboo screen alongside the balcony and in between the balconies for shade & privacy, though the sun doesn't hit until about 2 pm. TV never worked and WiFi only worked 2 days out of the 5 we were there....Owner response: First let me say thank you for your feedback. I take pride in making my place as comfortable for guests as possible. While certain things are out my control like barking dogs, other things are and will be taken care of immediately. I'm not sure about the food items however. I've been inclined to provide clean spaces as opposed to the left overs of strangers for arriving guests. I'll figure out a happy compromise. Thanks again for your feedback and I hope to see you again.

The Good: The view. Place was modern and up to date and new feeling. The area is very hipster. Close to all the beaches and activities in Rincon. Owner was very responsive and the condo was clean. The Bad: Only good for two people. The place felt cramped. Not many furnishings in the apartment to help cook (for instance no bottle opener, oil, sugar, salt, etc). The cupboards were bare except for a minimal amount of silverware, bowls, etc. There was no table to eat on. The wifi was not consistently working.Did you find this review helpful? This rental was great! It was super clean, and has a great property manager to help you will anything you need while in town. The view is fabulous and you are very close to great snorkeling, surfing, and right up the street is a great place for breakfast, Puntas Bakery. We very much enjoyed our stay and will be staying here next time we are in PR! The town of Rincon is really nice with very friendly people and not to crowded. Definitely recommending this one to our friends!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

This is a really great place to stay! Close to all the beaches and restaurants! The apartment is very nice and quite comfortable. We felt at home, especially with the kitchen. Ivan, the owner, is a very nice guy, and provides AWESOME directions to find the place! We always get lost, and didn't get lost with his directions. Also, Nydia, the lady that lives next door and takes care of the place, is very sweet and helpful. If you are looking to stay in Rincon, I would definitely recommend this place! You'll be glad you did!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/3

Staying at this apartment in Puntas was like being at home! It has everything you need and more. Being able to correspond with the owner was especially important. Ivan and the house care taker, Nydia, were so wonderful and accommodating. Since we were going to do a lot of beach hopping along the coast with our 10 month old son, having all the beach essentials was key! Ivan made sure that we had all of them, including a huge beach umbrella. Thank you! I agree with the past reviewers who say the pictures don't do the apartment justice. The apartment was nice and clean! The best part was having a washer and dryer. One thing I do recommend is maybe putting some type of non-slip adhesive strip on the stairs going up to the front door. They can be very slippery when wet. Over all, the best part of the apartment is waking up to such a glorious view! I totally, 100% recommend this apartment to anyone who is interested in staying in Rincon. Navigating through the streets was easy and all kinds of restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets are only a 5-10 minute drive away!!! Ivan, thank you again and we hope to stay at your apartment in the future!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

What can I say? My first visit to Puerto Rico and it was a beautiful trip. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get to Rincon from Aguadilla (Ivan, your directions were perfect) and how lovely the view was from the balcony. Everything that we needed was provided for in a spotless well-kept apartment that felt as comfortable as our home. With a bakery right up the street and restaurants within 5- 10 minutes of the apartment- what else could you ask for? A correction though- Ivan told us it was 5 minutes to the beach- it is only 3! Thank you for a lovely home away from home Ivan! Looking forward to a return visit! (My recommendations- The English Rose- for the best breakfast- keep in mind it is at the top of a steep hill! And Shipwreck- one of the best pieces of fish I have ever had!)Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway.

I stayed 3 days, the apartment was immaculate and decorated in good taste (the pictures shown in the site are older) very classy details like the leather sofa bed in the living room. The view from the balcony is very soothing after a long day at the beach (no sunset this time the horizon was foggy , this is the rainy season). I knew some people in the neighborhood from my surfing days at Rincon and that made my stay much more meaningful on a personal note. The owner provides information and/or help in a timely basis; it was a pleasure dealing with the owner and the lady who takes care of the property. Some places I recommend for eating and or having a drink: Nativo Bar and Grill at Corcega beach and Tamboo by Punta Higuera... Walking to the beach is possible but the gradient of the hills can be problematic to some, recommend for most have a car- the property has plenty of safe off the street parking. I will definitely stay at Puntas again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Staying in this home was such a pleasure! Everything about the house was perfect. It was clean well kept and everything was nice and new! The only thing I missed was the fact that the house didn't have a toaster. Other then that it was perfect! Perfect location between Domes and Sandy's beach and right next to Puntas Bakery! Also the owner and house manager were such a pleasure to deal with. Both very nice people that kept in contact with me the whole time i was there and made sure everything about my stay was perfect! Definitely recommend staying in this house!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great one-bedroom place for a surfing vacation to Rincon. Very clean, everything in tip-top shape, including the kitchen. Beautiful view of sunsets over the ocean from the balcony. Location is good for the surfing spots, assuming you have a car (walking would be possible but a bit of a trek with boards). The owner and the lady next door who gives out keys, etc., could not have been nicer. One minor complaint - only a rather small person could sleep on the couch bed, and not very comfortably.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I needed to get away and this place hit the spot. The price was right, the location perfect and the people I met were helpful and great. I tried surfing for the first time and had a ball. Two of the only certified schools in Rincon are located less than a 10 minute walk away from the apartment. I would stay here again. The apartment provided everything I needed and the owner was more than helpful. Thanks Ivan! You may see me again before the surf season ends.Owner response: Cheryl, Surfing huh? Believe it or not, I've never actually tried surfing. You've inspired me. I now have another New Year's Resolution. :-) Isn't it great to be able to walk to the beach? I love it! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and I look forward to your future business. Ivan

The place was nice and clean, with cold A/C and wifi. It's very central to all surf breaks in rincon. It's also two doors down from Puntas Bakery, which has been remodeled and has some groceries. The view was also a huge plus!Owner response: Yes, I love that little bakery. It has everything and is just a minute or two away. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. Please consider my home again in the future whenever your travels take you to Rincon Puerto Rico.

The view was amazing! It's a very central location to all the surf breaks in Rincon. It's two doors down from the Puntas Bakery, which has recently been remodeled. The place was nice, clean, with cold A/C, and wi-fi. Great place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I didn't realize that you were a surfer! I'm glad that you were able to take advantage of your proximity to the various beaches. And yes, because of the way the sun beams through the windows sand glass doors, I installed AC units that would be able to keep guests cool on even the hottest of days. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and I look forward to your business again in the future! Ivan

My wife and I really enjoyed staying at Ivan's place. It has everything that you need, including an amazing view of the ocean. If you surf, Marias, Domes, Pools are all within a 5 minute drive, and the bakery around the corner is great for coffee in the am. I would def recommend this place to family and friends and hope to be back soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
