Designed by Golba Architects and built in 2006, this beautiful ocean view, three-story house plus private roof terrace is located on the ocean side of Mission Boulevard on Lido Court, just steps away from the boardwalk and beach. The house features white water ocean views from the Master, Living Room, and Kitchen, and panoramic views from East to West up on our private, exclusive use Roof Terrace.
Entering the first floor, the entry has travertine floors leading to two bedrooms, both opening to the private, fully fenced, exclusive-use patio, which has abundant seating and a private outdoor beach shower. One room has a queen bed, and the second has twin beds, with a trundle for a third person. The first floor bath has a soaking tub with custom stone surround, a luxurious rain shower head, travertine floors, and granite countertops. No need to worry about hot water running out since we have a high efficiency tankless water heater that provides unlimited hot water on demand. A full size washer and dryer are on this level.
Going up to the second level, there is the Master Bedroom with a large walk-in closet, private bath with granite counters, travertine stone walls surrounding the soaking tub, travertine stone floors, and a rain shower head for a luxurious shower. There is a small sitting area with a comfortable chair, and a large window looking out to the ocean view. Stepping out through wall-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, you enter a private balcony with sit-down whitewater views. Here, you will find a table and chairs to relax and enjoy people watching on the boardwalk. Both door and windows to the Master Bedroom can be left open to let in the refreshing ocean breezes, and sound of the surf pounding only 50 meters away.
Continuing up to the third level, there is a landing with a huge, vertical picture window looking out to Mission Bay. A few more steps to enter the Family Room. This has maple hardwood floors, gourmet kitchen with professional Viking SS cooktop, granite counters, dishwasher, microwave, new SS refrigerator, oven, and all the dishes, utensils, cookware, and small appliances you need to prepare delicious meals. There is seating for three at the kitchen counter bar, and a table that seats five in the dining nook. The living area looks out to the sit down whitewater ocean view through two enormous picture windows set with e-glass to help reduce glare. There are four additional windows that open up to let in the ocean breezes, and the sounds of the surf. There is a half bath adjoining the family room, and a french door that leads to the stairs up to the roof terrace.
This family room has an entertainment center with a 30-inch, flat-screen TV with digital cable and DVD/CD player, and high speed modem for internet access with WiFi so you can bring your laptop and get online any place in the house. We also offer free anytime, anywhere in the USA long distance with our digital phone service.
Open the french door from the family room, and follow the theatre lights up the stairs to the roof terrace which is furnished with lounge chairs, a teak table and chairs to seat six for dining, a propane gas Barbecue grill, and a buffet table to hold all your food and drinks. The view from up here is panoramic, with views to Sea World, Point Loma, Mission Bay, La Jolla, and of course, the beach and boardwalk. In the summer, enjoy dining under the stars and then kick back in your chairs to watch the fireworks show at Sea World from the comfort of your own rooftop terrace.
Parking is in a covered and gated carport with two tandem spaces.
This is a brand new unit with all new furnishings, and we ask that you respect our strict no smoking policy. No smoking is allowed anywhere on the premises, including the patio and roof terrace.

Why the Owner Chose Mission Beach
We were renters at Mission Beach for many years before we bought this home. We wanted to set this up as the perfect place for families to come and celebrate their holiday here in the beautiful city of San Diego. The home is furnished to refect our wish that everyone who stays here feels welcome and right at home from the minute they walk through the door.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
As a stand alone home, with no one else above or below you as in a condo, we have lots of privacy and room to spread out, which works well if you are a large family. Our home has a private patio with beach shower right outside the door to the children's bedroom and the roof terrace is pefect for everyone to gather both day and night. In the evening, we have front row seats for the summertime fireworks shows at Sea World, and in the daytime, we can watch the dolphins play in the surf right in front of our house. The house comes with several beach cuiser bikes, and all the equipment you need to set up camp on the beach, including shade shelters, chairs, coolers, and of course, lots of toys for the beach like boogie boards and even a surf board. We tried to pay attention to details, so all you need to do is move in, drop your bags and start relaxing and having fun here in America's finest city, San Diego!

Fantastic vacation rental! Clean, well maintained and fully furnished. Great location right in the heart of Mission Beach and just twenty short steps to the beach. Three things that really made this a "must stay" vacation rental - 1) The roof top deck with the bbq grill. Plenty room up there to enjoy a beautiful San Diego day or watch the Sea World fireworks in the evening. 2) The tandem parking spaces. This was a HUGE PLUS! Parking is a challenge in that area. Having the parking spots was convenient and hassle free. 3) Last but not least - The Owner - Cynthia made it easy. Rent this house!!!!!

My first trip to San Diego was totally amazing, much because of the place we stayed at. A fabulous vacation home rental steps from the beach in an ideal mission beach location with all the ammenities. We spent much of our days laying out in the sun on the rooftop deck looking over the beach. They is a BBQ grill up there so great for cooking having a get together. Plenty of room in this house and nicely updated. I cannot wait to go back to San Diego and I just hope that this house is available for my next trip.

My family along with my best friends family have rented this home a few times. The location is perfect. It's close to everything yet incredibly quiet. The carport fit both our cars, a chevy tahoe and subaru outback with room to spare. This house is gorgeous and the owners are personable and easy to work with. Our kids love the house even more than the adults. It's 3 floors + ground floor patio and rooftop deck give more than enough room and ample space for fun play. We have 4 adults and 3 children and never feel crowded. The location of this home allows one to feel safe and at ease. It's walking distance to the boardwalk, the beach is steps away and you don't have to cross any streets to get to it and there is a nice mini mart right across the street. We espically love watching the dolphins swim which you can see from the roof deck and living room. There is nothing bad to be said about this house. It's clean, safe, quite, beautifully furnished and perfect for a getaway.

This property was in wonderful shape and very clean. Everything we needed was there, from an umbrella stroller to forks and knives. The parking was a struggle, as we drove a Honda Pilot. We were finally able to nab street parking and that was better. The neighbors were awfully noisy on the weekend, but that is what you expect on a beach weekend!

The owners were amazing to work with. They really care for the property and could sell it to anyone because of its strong points. It was a great spot for a family becuase it is equal distance between the two "party" spots on mission beach--so it is quiet when you want quiet, but a short walk/bike ride to get to the excitement when you want it. The several wetsuits fitting my children from 8 girl to 16 boy were invaluable during the cloudy cold week we were there. Surf board, several sizes of bikes, and boogie boards were a hit. It had a great family feel--highly recommend this property and owners. Thanks!

My wife and I rented this home for the months of February and March of 2009. The owners, Eric and Cynthia couldn't have been nicer folks to work with. Their home is located midway between the Crystal Pier and Belmont Park and is convenient to many restaurants and various shops. The beach is great! If you are a 'walker' than this is the place for you as the boardwalk is only 100 feet from your front door. The home is comfy and in good working order. I would stay with them again.
