Cinnamon Fern Chalet is the premier vacation home in the unique Northpoint mountain resort community in Canaan Valley, West Virginia. This spacious, contemporary, cedar home is new to the vacation rental market and the new owners have transformed it to make your vacation truly wonderful. Cinnamon Fern Chalet has three full baths and three bedrooms. While this mountain chalet has been professionally decorated and updated with new furnishings.
On the main level, the Great Room has a vaulted ceiling with skylights. From comfortable leather sofas and chairs guests can appreciate the warmth from the floor-to-ceiling, fieldstone wood fireplace and the views. Cinnamon fern Chalet’s entertainment center has a 32" television, cable, VHS, DVD, & CD players, and radio. The kitchen is open to the Great Room, is fully stocked, and has many extras for entertaining. All guests can be accommodated at meals at the dining room table and the counter.
On the first level, Cinnamon Fern Chalet has one bathroom (with a whirlpool tub), two bedrooms, and a laundry room. One bedroom has a king bed, which with advanced notice, can be reconfigured into two twins, and a queen leather sleeper sofa. This bedroom has direct entry to the bathroom. The second bedroom has two queens. Both bedrooms have cable TV with VCR and direct access to the lower deck. The loft has a king, a twin daybed, and a rollout twin trundle. The bathroom has a tub with shower and can be accessed without going into the bedroom. The loft has cable TV with VCR, as well as a stereo radio/CD/cassette player.
The hot tub is on a private deck with a wonderful view of the surrounding Canaan Mountain woodland. Another deck has a charcoal grill, picnic table, benches, and wood Adirondack chairs. The lower deck has wood Adirondack chairs and a porch swing. The porch swing is a great place to listen to the soothing sounds of the nearby mountain stream and waterfall.
Cinnamon Fern Chalet’s guests have access to high-speed, wireless Internet. Local telephone calls are free. The chalet has reading materials and over one hundred movies. When guests arrive their beds have been made since linens, towels, and blankets are included. Several board and card games, as well as blocks are provided for guests. For younger guests, out the chalet has outlet covers available and a portable playpen/crib, cutlery, plates, and cups.
Cinnamon Fern Chalet is pet friendly so guests can bring their small dog after making prior arrangements. The vacation chalet is equipped with water and food dishes and a place mat for their small canine companion. Inquire for more information. Please bring your dog’s crate and bed.
Cinnamon Fern Chalet is less than four hours from Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, & Baltimore; and less than three hours from Pittsburgh. In winter, four-wheel drive is recommended for the mountain roads. |
