Whiffletree Condominiums are centrally located in the heart of Killington's main basin area. In winter, a shuttle runs to Snowshed lodge, only 1/2 mile away, and enjoy 'ski home' access provided there is natural snow. These neat and tidy 2 BR/1BA accommodations have everything you'd need in a ski vacation property, featuring a gas fireplace. But it's all about location, location, location. Not only are you a stone's throw from the mountain, you're right in the middle of the action for Killington's infamous nightlife. In season, the shuttle runs a night schedule as well, or enjoy being close to some fabulous restaurants.
In the summer you have access to the outdoor heated pool, tennis courts and a playground for the kids!

The header for the property is aptly titled. The condo is very convenient, quiet, comfortable and affordable. There was a bit of a snafu when we first arrived, having to do with picking up the keys and checking in, but it was sorted out by Mike and the management company and Mike was very apologetic and let us stay till as late as we wanted on the checkout date, which was appreciated. There were 5 of us total and though the condo is a bit small for 5 people, we were still able to comfortably enjoy our time there, for both sleeping and hanging out. Most of the unit has been renovated recently, including the bathroom, which was very nice and makes the condo feel very clean and tidy. The condo is very well maintained. The shuttle to the mountain is very useful, as is the free late-night shuttle that picks you up from various bars in Killington and brings you right back to the condo parking lot. You can also ski back to the condo directly from the mountain, you just have to cross a road on the way back, but that only takes a few minutes. We were able to take the shuttle to the mountain in the morning, ski back to the condo for lunch, then take the shuttle back to the mountain and finally return home via the whiffletree trail at the end of the day. Thus we were able to avoid the craziness at lunch at the various Killington lodges and also save money on lunch. Apartment was great! We had all the necessary amenities, the apartment was clean and well-maintained, cozy, and had plenty of space. It was also in a very convenient location, and to get around the mountain we were able to easily jump on the shuttle bus. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend, and plan on reserving this property again in the future.Owner response: Another Happy Guest!

-There is a Ski Locker located at the top of the stairs. Please don't bring skis & snowboards inside the Condo. -The bedrooms have electric heat & the main area has a gas fireplace. The gas fireplace can get very HOT! Be careful not to put things to close. If you keep the doors to the bedroom closed, they stay very warm. -The Condo has Linens, Towels, Soaps, Shampoos, etc, just like a Hotel. The Kitchen has everything you should need, but it's not a bad idea to bring a special pot or pan. -The living room couch is a Queen Pullout & the Linens are in the TV stand. -The Condo has Cable TV & wi-fi, but the wi-fi doesn't work well with large uploads like movies. The Killington Channel is 14, also the Outside Network. -The bus stop is at the entrance & comes every 20 minutes. -You can ski back on the Whiffletree Trail, conditions permitting. The entrance is off of the Boardercross Course at Snowshed. The trail ends across the street from the Condo entrance. These trails are on the Killington Trail Guide. -Please don't smoke inside the Condo & please treat it with respect.
