Hi Teri, Thank you very much for renting your cabin to us - we had an amazing time!!!! Your location was awesome and the little lake on the property was an endless source of enjoyment for the kids with all of the pollywogs, frogs and rope swing. We took our canoes to Pinecrest a couple of days but it was definitely more crowded & crazy so your lake was a welcome change. We didn't use the downstairs bedrooms, but I noticed upon arrival that the fish picture next to the kid's bunk beds was on the floor behind the little nightstand. I found the nail that was used to hang the picture but it looked like the nail was not able to support the weight of the frame & glass. Nothing was broken so I left the picture & nail on the nightstand instead of trying to rehang it and risking it falling again. I will get the keys in the mail to you either today or tomorrow. We had a funny moment last Friday when returned from an outing to your cabin and I recognized a co-worker literally across the street at the log cabin that you see looking out the kitchen window. The cabin belongs to his wife's aunt and we laughed at running into each other in what seems to be a secret spot! Thanks again and we look forward to visiting again! Andrea

Our trip was the last weekend of January 2010. All I can say is "WOW!" We went with two other couples that had kids (so a total of 5 children). Our main concern was cleanliness and peace....we got so much more! Their amenities is no exaggeration, we went as far as bringing our own because we weren't sure if they had much at all and BOY were we wrong. This place is fully equipped (all you need to bring is a few extra things that it states in their contract). Our children loved playing in the snow right out side our rental. We didn't have to travel far for them to enjoy sled rides and building snowman while we barbecued in the patio nearby. We have already said that this place will be our destination every year. We would love to thank the owners for sharing their home with us.....We can't wait to return!

Thank you for giving us the oppurtunity to stay in your beautiful home! The view from your home is awesome and the way your home is designed worked out especially well for our 3 families! The weekend weather could not have been better. We enjoyed 3 perfect days of skiing. Thanks for the "grace" you extended to us by allowing us to change our rental dates. Thank you so much for a much needed get away in a most serene spot. Plenty of room to explore and play, even snowboard! We just loved your playrooom, fooseball championship and all! We have to buy our own now. The cabin was well equipped, unlike many others we have stayed in, which makes one's stay more enjoyable. We love the location,, close to ski resorts, Twain Harte, etc. We will definitely be back with friends and family.

Thank you for opening up your cabin to us. We were very impressed with the spacious cabin and surroundings. The kids had so much fun with the raft at the lake, playing at the playground and "snipe" hunting. You never know what you're going to get when you pick out a cabin on-line but we wer all very pleased! The playpen was a nice surprise for our 1 1/2 year old. Made life much easier for us. We loved hanging out on the huge deck and the view from there - Wow! We hope to make this a yearly tradition.

First and Foremost: Thnak you!! for allowing us to stay in your lovely home. Second: OMG. Talk about a room with a view. Your house is a view!!! An incredible view of not only the "lake" but of the "tree line", the moon rising and setting, the sounds of the frogs and coyotes. This was an incredible visit to the area and wild life. It's 4PM and we finally made it! Wow, the view is phenominal!!! The lake, tree's and fresh air. We loved sitting on the balaony and listening to the quite sounds of nature. We took walks around the lake, short trips to Pinecrest, Strawberrry, and Cover Apple Farm. Nicole fished for her very first time at Strawberry. Her photo is now posted at the Strawberry store with her very 1st fish. We spent much time at the great playground with all of the girls. They loved it. We really enjoyed your "rustic cabin" in the woods. Looking forard to our next visit. Thank you again

What a wonderful time had by all! Online pictures of you beautiful home do not do it justice - roomy, fully equiped -great location and incredible views. The game room had to be the best part - we had so much fun down there. Had a nice walk around the lake, collected awesome pinecones, fun in the park. Fishing at Pinecrest Lake... our 8 year old caught a nice trout. Took a nice drive out to Knights Ferry to see the covered bridge - absolutely serene location - about 40 min. drive, but worth it for sure! Thank you again for sharing your home with our family - can't wait to come back again,

We had a fantastic time in your house; what an amazing location! The children were in heaven playing in/on the lake and also in the games room. I mailed the keys back to you today (priority, same way you mailed them), so you should see those in a couple of days. I feel that we left the house as we found it with all rooms straight, garbage removed and dishes washed and put away etc. We managed not to break anything as well, thankfully. Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your cabin this past weekend. We have rented serveral cabins in the past, but this far exceeds any of those cabins. The cabin is decorated so beautifully and so much like home. We have decided to adopt your cabin as our second home. Everyone is already making plans for a winter trip after Chistmas and then again during the summer. I am a single mom and it was such a pleasure to be able to have most of my children and grandchildren on this vacation and having so much fun and hearing so much laughter. As children get older thay have a tendency to all go their separate ways and it is so nice to have them together for such a trip. Thank you again,
