Destin West Beach and Bay Resort was completed in June, 2006, and has quickly become a family vacation destination. The condo is located on the 5th floor of the Heron Building with a breathtaking 15 mile view of Choctawatche Bay and overlooks the optical lighted 700' Lazy River -which has tropical landscaped grounds around four pools - one pool has a waterfall. There are two large hot tubs and a private pool just for Heron guests. You can view dolphins in the bay and witness a beautiful sunrise directly from the large patio.
A crossover bridge in front of the Heron building takes you to the Gulf white sanded and private beaches. The Gulf side also has another large pool and a Children's Water Garden.
