WE HAVE GREAT WATER! Eight feet at the end of the dock and 25 feet deep in the middle of the cove.
Home of the "Astonished Fish" (see photos). The first time you sink into a chair and take in the lake view you will understand. This is truly a unique property and you will be surprised at how much you relax even in the first 24 hours. Screen porch is newly done in Caribbean colors
Very peaceful setting with a good water view. Sit on the swim dock and watch the sunset. If you bring a boat you can launch about 10 minutes away and tie up to our swim dock. Enjoy the deep (25' deep in the middle of cove), clear water. A natural spring keeps our wide, deep cove flowing and clean. Large screened porch is a favorite place to eat or wake up with a cup of coffee while being mesmerized by the water. Abundant wildlife in the area including beaver and red fox and turkey.
Wooded area directly across the water is reserved as Park land so you are looking at only nature. The masonry fireplace makes it a perfect year round get away. Living Room has cathedral ceiling and the property has been newly painted inside and out. The Master Bedroom has a luxurious King Size Select Comfort air mattress bed with individual controls. The Guest bedroom has a new King bed. There are two sleeper sofa's and one sleeper chair in the living room making it a home that can sleep 9. There are two full baths. There is Hi-speed internet access. The modem is in the Great Room with a cat 5 cable provided. Simply plug into your laptop.(There are inflated queen size air mattresses available that can be thrown down in the large Living Room for overflow sleeping. Bring your own sheets or sleeping bags for these).
The kitchen is fully outfitted with microwave, dishwasher and icemaker. There is a gas grill on the large side deck. There are dining tables on the deck, in the screen porch & in the great room. The gently sloped walkway from the driveway to the deck means there are zero steps or stairs to navigate entering the home, making it easily accessible even with walkers or wheelchairs. Great neighborhood for walking or bike riding with virtaully no traffic. Enjoy!

Lake Hartwell has good, clean refreshing water. It is much quieter than some of the other major Georgia lakes.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We thoroughly enjoy the peace and solitude of the lake whether having meals and drinks on the dock, or taking a short boat ride out to one of the undeveloped islands. The water in our part of the lake is spring fed and always feels clean and fresh.

We had a wonderful weekend here at your place - brought the boat from the marina in Hartwell where we keep it. All of us want you to know how much we enjoyed it! This was the Best Mothers Day I can remember! I love your house because it is unique and has so much personality- very comfortable.

We are being blessed to stay in this wonderful place for a week (it went too fast). We had a very quality family time. The beds were perfect, the home has everything that we need and more. The lake was great. We fished and my daughter and me went swimming. This was our first time swimming in a lake because we are from Miami Fl. We really hope to have the opportunity again to come back again soon.
