This was my first vrbo rental and I was afraid it would not be clean. The condo exceeded my expectations! The tile floors made the condo seem extra clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking equiptment. We were all able to be on the balcony at the same time with a great view. The floor plan allowed for group togetherness in the common area yet plenty of bedroom space for those who wanted to be alone. I will gladly be back in a heart beat.

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners, sightseeing.

Beautiful Condo

This was our first time renting a condo off of the vrbo website. We were a little nervous, but everything worked out really well. We couldn't have asked for it to have been better. We really enjoyed our stay in the condo. It was very beautiful & lots of room. We especially loved the balcony. The condo was just like the owner said. I would definitely stay in this condo again.

Great Vacation!

We had another great stay at Silver Beach! The condo is very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and plenty of things to do! We have been staying in this unit for several years and the owner is always very accomodating. New sofa, bedding and fresh paint are just a few updates since we've been last. Would certainly recommend this unit to any family searching for a nice play to stay.

Nasty Kitchen

I just returned from this condominium on Saturday. It was very dated and the kitchen and floors were very nasty. The kitchen had smudge marks all over walls and cabinets and the handles on cabinets were grease covered. Needed a deep cleaning. The floors were also very nasty. Had to wear shoes at all times or feet were black. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean. The master bedroom however was a King bed but only had a king fitted sheet. The top sheet was a full or queen turned long ways. The listing photos were evidently taken when the condo was new because the living room is not the same. Photo shows matching furniture and 2 chairs. There is only 1 chair and a couch. Not enough furniture for a 3 bedroom condo. The white wicker dining table is also very nasty and worn. The bar stools shown are now out on the patio and the bar left with backless wooden stools. The patio was also in need of attention. I have been renting condos in this area for 16 years and this was by far the most dirty condo we have stayed in. As for it being dated, that was not a problem if it had been clean. I will not rent from this owner again or recommend this property.

Owner response:WOW. I wish you would have indicated that a problem existed while you were there. I would have had the cleaning service revisit the unit and taken care of your issues. I have replaced the couch with a larger couch since the pictures were taken, eliminated one of the chairs, repainted the unit in a similar color and replaced the bedding.

We had a really nice visit to Orange Beach and our condo was a nice place to stay. Check-in was a breeze. Good owner communications. Comfy beds, but pillows were dated. We brought our own, so everyone slept well. We slept six comfortably. Very clean apartment. Good amount of dishes, glasses and silverware. Knives were dull, but usable. Views of the beach were obstructed, but we saw plenty of the gulf (Dolphins are amazing). Appliances were of good working order, but nothing fancy. The wi-fi setup was easy. No place to plug IPod or MP3 (should bring docking station). The location of the condo was ideal. GREAT VALUE!!!

A Wonderful Retreat

What a wonderful way to spend a vacation. I was very impressed with the size of the bedrooms, the cleanliness of the apartment and the value for price. Beautiful Gulf views were right outside the huge picture window, accentuated with a large balcony for outside enjoyment. I enjoyed the beautiful sunsets on the beach and found everything I needed for everyday comfort to be included in the package. Grocery stores and other amenities were right across the street. I definitely recommend this condo for anyone looking to kick up their feet and relax...it was thoroughly enjoyable and I can't wait to come back!

We had a great vacation and the condominium was wonderful. Everything was exactly as the owner had communicated to me. Just steps from the beach made it easy to carry our belongings and spend a day in the sand and sun. We loved the large balcony and enjoyed sitting out there watching the dolphins in the early morning. We would definately stay again.

Silver Beach Condominuium

What a wonderful vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the 1st class facilities, to the world class beach, my family and I could not of been happier. Lots to do and enjoy, including swimming (pool and ocean), fishing, walking on the beach, great nearby restraunts and parks, shelling etc etc etc. This by far has become my families favorite vacation destination. By the way, did I mention that the condo itself is everything you could ask for?!! I would recomend this vacation to anyone and everyone.

Terrible Experience

Rented this condo from owner back in mid-August of this year for 5 days. We arrived at 3:00 in the morning to find the front door had been kicked in recently and had no deadbolt (just a hole in the door where it should have been) and the wood around the lock area had been glued back together. We had to make arrangements for another condo in another building first thing the next morning. When the owner was informed she said she knew about the door but it hadn't been fixed yet. Refused to refund any money even though NO type of contract/agreement had been signed. Really shouldn't matter when you agree to rent a condo that's in the condition it was and a family of 6 spends 5 hours there before leaving. Poor rating isn't low enough for our experience.

Owner response:When MTexas arrived, the lock on the door knob was in working order and the unit was secured. A previous tenant propped the door open with the dead bolt, the wind blew the door against the door frame breaking the door and the dead bolt. MTexas called and informed me that he had moved out of the unit without giving me a chance to further correct the situation. The dead bolt has now been replaced.

This is a beautiful, clean, spacious condo, right on the beach, with awesome views of the Gulf! The pool is literally a few steps out the back door, and the beach just beyond that. Close to shopping, boating, and restaurants. The condo has all the comforts of home - tv's, washer/dryer, spacious closets, comfortable beds, pretty furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable patio furniture. Highly recommend this property, and would return every year if possible! Thanks for a memorable vacation!
