Our fourth floor, end unit condominium at Barrington Arms is located in the Leamington section of Palmetto Dunes. This is an exclusive gated community and is the perfect location to relax and enjoy the scenic beauty of Hilton Head. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located on Hilton Head Island. You can enjoy the view of the Atlantic from the comfortable designer furnished living room or sit on the large balcony and enjoy the sea air and beautiful and peaceful view of the pool and beach. In the off season, open the doors and enjoy the cool breeze and sounds of the waves crashing on the shore.
The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with access to the balcony and view of the ocean. The second bedroom, with ocean view, has a privacy pocket door and is on the opposite side of the living area for complete privacy. The living room has a comfortable queen-sized sleeper sofa. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and also has a washer and dryer for your convenience. All linens and towels are provided. BOTH BATHROOMS AND KITCHEN HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY RENOVATED FOR 2012. Master bath has a walk in shower and 2nd bath has a bathtub/shower. Both bathrooms have vanities with granite counter and all new fixtures. Kitchen has new cabinets with granite counter top and new stainless appliances.
The Barrington POOL IS CLIMATE CONTROLLED year-round and has a great shelter with tables and grills for cooking. The pool has bathrooms, large hot tub, and a phone if you want to call for pizza. The pool is steps away from the ocean and condominium. Manicured gardens surround the Barringtons and our location is at the south end of Palmetto Dunes which gives you peace and quiet away from all the activities. Golf, tennis, and restaurants are all within walking distance and the bike trails are at your front door. Wildlife is in abundance on Hilton Head and the lagoon next to the Barrington pool has an abundance of fish, turtles, egrets, and blue herons for your enjoyment.
We also provide two hours FREE TENNIS daily at Palmetto Dunes Racquet Club (23 har-tru courts), free bikes, and beach chairs for your convenience. We have owned this condominium since 1996 and customer satisfaction is our first priority.

Why the Owner Chose Barrington Arms
We first went to Hilton Head in 1983 with our two daughters. We had been to most beaches on the east coast and fell in love with Hilton Head. It's a quiet family place and there is nothing like it for relaxing and exercise. The bike trails are the best we have ever seen and the beach is fantastic. The tennis and golf are both rated some of the best in the world. Hilton Head has everything you could want in a vacation.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our condo is on the 4th floor with elevator and has a fantastic view of the climate controlled pool and ocean. Palmetto Dunes is centrally located and is therefore convenient to restaurants, shops, and entertainment. The Palmetto Dunes Tennis Center is World Renowned with 25 courts and excellent instruction. Sue and I are members so our guests also get tennis privileges. There are also three golf courses (Fazio, Trent Jones, and Arthur Hill) on Palmetto dunes. The Barrington complex is at the south end of Palmetto Dunes away from the hotels and crowds. Our pool is heated in winter and cooled in summer for complete comfort year round. The bike trail is at your front door and the beach is at your back door. Covered parking is available.

Our stay at the condo was excellent! It is very well maintained and is beautiful!! The listing description was accurate, the photos reflect the appearance and amenties, the condo was spotless, and the owners were extremely accomodating and helpful. I definitely recommend this property!

The condo was excellent! It had everything you would need from kitchenware to beach toys to bikes. Palmetto Dunes beach was great - not overcrowded and very, very clean. We really liked the heated pool that barrington arms offers. We took 3 kids (4 1/2, 3, and 1 1/2) they all had a blast. We cannot say enough about Tom and Sue- they were great! You can tell that they take a lot of pride in their place and want to make sure that you enjoy your stay from start to finish. Tom gave excellent food recommendations for us to eat with and without kids. We would love to come back if it is open in the future.

We just got back and wish we were still there!! This place is fantastic and I hope it's available next year for us. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The decor is very chic and posh. The balcony was such a great place to enjoy some coffee in the am and listen to the ocean. The view of the lagoon, pool and ocean can't be beat! The owners take special care of the renters and we felt like we could reach out to them whenever we needed. I have been going to HHI for many many years. I now bring my 2 teens and 10 year old and husband there and they all love it! This condo is our favorite!!

My husband and I stayed as Tom and Sue's guests in July of this year. We found their condo to be clean and well-maintained. The view of the pool and ocean from the 4th floor balcony is gorgeous! We enjoyed playing tennis and made good use of the bicycles and beach chairs that are available with this unit. For those looking for solitude, this end unit is very quiet and peaceful-- and there is no condo directly above. I would highly recommend this unit to couples and families interested in vacationing in Hilton Head.

Tom and Sue have provided everything needed for a very relaxing vacation. Their condominium is very clean, very comfortable, and very well situated. The deck offers just the right combination of sun and shade, and there's always a lovely view of the beautiful foliage, the ponds, the pool and the ocean. Access to the bicycles and beach chairs means no time wasted organizing rentals. We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to another visit. We have already recommended this unit to friends and family.

We keep coming back to this condo year after year (for about 10 years running). I love that it is an end unit on the 4th floor. This provides a beautiful view overlooking the small ponds (where we watch the turtles and egrets), pool and out to the ocean. It is always clean, well kept and spacious. The washer/dryer are a plus as well. The condo is also in the best location, the center of the island. We love to ride our bikes in the plantation and even under the highway to Shelter Cove where we get ice cream, shop and watch the boats. We also we ride our bikes to play miniature golf. If you time it right, you can also ride your bikes on the beach down to a popular shopping area called Coligny Circle. We usually do this for breakfast! If you are a tennis fan, you will love the surfaces at the tennis center and with 2 free hours per day, you can't go wrong. There are many golf courses in the area as well. I can just picture ourselves eating breakfast or lunch on that patio right now! You will not be disappointed and Tom and Sue are a joy to work with.

We've been vacationing at this condo for about 12 straight years. The owners are great to work with, and very helpful. The interior is very warm and inviting, always neat and clean, with furnishings that are upgraded every few years. The kitchen has everything you need, and the washer/dryer units within the condo are extremely convenient. The view from the balcony is great, and the pool and deck area is clean and never crowded. The beach is wide, with great sand, and also not crowded. We particulaly like the bike riding in Palmetto Dunes and surrounding plantations. There are tons of great restaurants on the island, and we also like to get fresh shrimp and fish at Barnacle Bill's just down the highway. We also like to visit Shelter Cove across the highway from Palmetto Dunes. It's a neat marina within biking distance that has a variety of restaurants with outdoor eating and free entertainment. There are also many great golf courses on and off the island. An added bonus is the complimentary tennis that is included. Hilton Head Island is one of the best vacation places we ever been to, and the condo is everything it's advertised to be.

My fiance booked our vacation in this villa for the 6th-13th of September. From the moment we stepped in the door we LOVED everything about the condo. The condo owners were extremely helpful and great to deal with. The condo was clean and fully furnished with everything you could possibly need. 1300 sq ft made it very roomy and relaxing. The patio is perfect for having breakfast and watching the waves roll in. You have a great view of the ocean and garden/pool area. The entire community was so pleasant and convient to everything. The owners have bikes and beach chairs for you to use which is great for going to the beach and also riding on the bike trails. Also, if you love golf or tennis then you will be in heaven. The restaurant, Alexanders, is also just past the Palmetto Dunes enterance as you enter and the food is EXCELLENT. The condo is literally 2 min's from the restaurant. We had no complaints at all about this condo or the location. The nicest thing we noticed about staying here is that the pool is never crowed and the beach is very private. We much prefer this area to any other beach we have ever gone to. The Barrington condos feel very secure and updated. I was very impressed with how furnished the kitchen was. I had packed a lot of kitchen utensils and items from home only to realize that the owners had anything you could possibly ever need and more for the kitchen. PROS: Clean, Large Condo, Ocean View, Climate Control Pool and Hot Tub, Quick Walk From The Condo To The Beach, Private Balcony, Free Tennis, Bikes Furnished, Min's From Great Restaurants & Shopping, Surrounded by golf courses (my fiance was thrilled about this aspect of the stay). CONS: Our only con was that we couldn't stay longer :-) We LOVE it here and we hope to come back very soon.

This was a very nice condo that had a nice view of the ocean and overlooking the pool. The balcony is especially nice as it has a few trees in front of it and being on the 4th floor, you think you are actually up in the treetops. The only drawback was the home had not been updated in the kitchen or bathroom and had a mirror wall which was also a bit out of date. But the building was well maintained (albeit a bit old) and this corner unit on the 4th floor is a good buy for the money.
