    Bottom line is that we had a great time at this condo. It's location is great, its right on the beach, 2 pools, and about a mile from Publix. I recommend staying here. However be sure to bring your wallet. ((I'm not allowed to post the actual amount for each individual charge, lets just say working at minimum wage, like I do, you'd have to work a couple extra day to cover the EXTRA charges for this 5-day stay.)) We had to pay the full weekly rate, even though we were only allowed to check-in and stay for 5 days. It was a short-notice reservation so we were initially ok with that. After paying the cleaning fee, certified check fee, tax, and deposit, we were just ready to enjoy our short vacation in Florida. We were so pleased with the condo and thankful to have a place to enjoy the week, before leaving, we decided to help out a little, so we took out the trash, did the dishes, wiped everything down, and took all of our sheets off. A few days after leaving, we inquired about our refund of the deposit, and the owner informed us that he would have to withhold ANOTHER FEE because the "cleaning team charged him" for needing an extra person to clean the place. Apparently, there was excessive SAND in the BEACHFRONT condo. Weird, I know. The sad thing is that we only were able to go to the beach 2 days out of our 5 day trip, since it was pretty cool in early March. Which accounts for the lower rental rate for that time of the year. (the 7 day rate we payed for a 5 day stay) Also, this extra charge was partly due to leaving dirty laundry in the condo. Apparently the towels and bedding that the EIGHT of us used in our EIGHT person condo was excessive and required more than one load of laundry. It would seem that a CLEANING FEE would cover the CLEANING of the apartment. Overall, the owner is polite and informative, and the condo is great. But in our opinion we were charged far too much, and in somewhat of a ridiculous manner. If you don't mind paying someone a cleaning fee for the cleaning that you're expected to do, I recommend staying here.

    Our first experience with VRBO was a huge success. Owner was very helpful and quick to answer the many inquiries I had before checking in. Condo was exactly as pictures showed. Plenty of room for us, our 3 grandchildren and 2 children/spouses when they were available. It's very conveniently located to shopping and Publix. Can't give any opinions on restaurants as with 3 hungry teenage grandchildren plus, I cooked 3 meals/day all week.We did get very connected to the Publix tho. Kitchen wasn't like home but obviously fairly well equipped for me to do that. We all agreed that we'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

    What a wonderful way to spend time at beautiful St Augustine Beach. The location was perfect and the complex was clean and comfortable. Alain was a gracious host and was immediately available anytime I had any questions. My only gripe, which has nothing to do with Alain or the rental unit itself, was that if you have AT&T, the cell service is horrible. Our guests who had Verizon or T-Mobile had no problem making or recieving calls. I plan on having a new cell phone carrier before I go back there the next time. :) Thank you Alain for everything!

    Everything was great other than the beds, especially the Master. It certainly needs to be replaced. Let us know when this is taken care of and we will certainly return.

    We have just returned from a week at St. Augustine Beach !!!!!! What can I say ??? The condo has a great location. step out the front door and you see the ocean, sit on the balcony and have a great view of 1 of the 2 pools. We have always vacationed in Florida and I can honestly say this property was beautiful. The tropical landscaping was well manicured and the pools were the cleanest I have ever had the pleasure of using. The condo was just as the pictures show. I am a stickler for clean and it was clean and well stocked with all that my family needed. There were 5 of us and for three days we had 3 more guest and we did not get crowded. Now let me tell you about my dealings with Alain,,,, he could not have been any easier to work with. He called the first day to make sure that we did not have any problems and that all questions were addressed. The only problem we had was with the cable tv. and he saw that it was corrected immediately. Thank you to Alain and his wife for sharing their home and we had a great experience in St. Augustine. My granddaughter had me make a pinky promise to go back to the same place next year. I would recommend this unit to anyone that wants a great vacation, just don't go on the week that I want to go. PS. our first night there, we ordered a pizza from Napolli's and it was the best we ever had.

    The owner was a stranger to our family- he made this rental agreement the easiest I have ever had- he emailed a reminder and made sure everything was in order before our arrival- the condo is very clean and roomy and convenient to the pool and beach. We would suggest this condo to all our friends and family.

    04/27/12 Sisters,brother,nephew and daughter rented this condo for a get togeather with our family to visit a sister that lives in StAugustine.The condo was just as it is pictured,we had plenty of room for the 7 of us, good to have the 2 baths.Clean and plenty of closet space.Pools were very inviting and clean when we were not on the beach or exploring.It was nice to cook a light breakfast instead of going out.We will definately rent this condo again.Thank you Alain for a very enjoyable vacati

    Alain: Well we are finally re-adjusting to a normal life! I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we enjoyed St Augustine(did the little red train ride) and all plus some restaurants that you had recommended - A1A Ale Works, Harry's, Sunset Grill, O.C. White's. - rest stop was at Ann O'Malley's(great sandwiches and bloody mary's). We did not go to Le Pavillon since it seemed to only have inside seating and we only wanted to be outside with a view of the water or up on the verandas. You condo was wonderful - it was great to wake up and sit on the porch and have coffee overlooking the pool or a quick walk to the beach to see the morning sun. When we arrived and on our last morning was the only time we had on the beach - in front of the Beachcomber restaurant. The water was great! We could have stayed at least one more day!     I took my daughter and 4 of her friends to St. Augustine for her 16th birthday. We stayed May 13-May 15th, 2011. We all had a wonderful time. The condo had plenty of room for all of us and had everything we needed. I enjoyed looking at the pool from the master bedroom and seeing the ducks in the pond. The beach was a short walk from the condo. It was nice to have a choice of two pools. This will be a sweet 16 party to be rememebered! Thanks so much for letting us stay over the weekend!

    My husband were very pleased and impressed with the accommodations.The condo is even better than described in the ad.It was very clean,smells fresh and well organized.We stayed in many beach condos in the past and expected only the same ol over used apartment,this one really surprise by how well it is kept up.The resort itself is very manicured.Of course we love the fact that the beach is the back yard!We are very happy we discovered this place and will definitely return .Thank you Alain for being there for us.

    The pictures that are displayed on the internet are the exact replica of the property. The condo was beautiful and I felt right at home. All the amenities you could ever need was there. It was like being in my own home. I was there with my nephew and neice for her wedding and we thoroughly enjoyed our stayed. Alain, thank you you have a beautiful property. Maureen Finley

    My girlfriends and I stayed at this condo during spring break and let me tell you....it was awesome. Most teens my age go to Panama City because it's the "cool" place to go but this place was amazing. The beach was only a few steps from our door. St.Augustine is really relaxing too. I loved Old Town and feeding the pigeons next to the water. It was beautiful. St.Augustine is a historical town and I would recommend it, and this condo especially, to anyone in need of a vacation.

    My family and I had enjoyed staying @this condo it was just pure luck,I seen pictures of the condo on the web I liked what I saw and contacted the owner he was so helpful and nice ,5min later I booked .when we arrived to the condo everything looked so clean organized and well maintained .the complex is located on the beach near old town and all the attraction.we definitly will be back.and will recommended to all our friends .

    My family and were very delighted with the accomodations at this comfortable anf beautiful condo.The ad depicts exactly the real unit.We all were very pleased with the city of St Augustine.It was a pleasure dealing with the owners as they were very helpful in recomending places to see and restaurants to eat at.We will defitely be back to this unit when in the area.

    My stay at this condo was one of the best vacations I've had with my family! My husband, my kids, and I stayed here over Thanksgiving. The condo and the whole complex itself was so clean. The unit was so welcoming and was just a step to the pool and beach. The owner provided us with great service and really followed through in making sure we were 100% satisfied. I would highly recommend a stay here to all my friends and family! We really enjoyed going and taking strolls in old town and eating at many of their fine restaurants. Of them, I would have to say Harry's was my favorite. There are so many things to do in St. Augustine, that you can't fit them all into just one stay. I will definately be contacting the owner again in the future for another, longer stay in his beautiful condo!!

    We have been to St Augustine many times and always stayed at the same place.This time that place which is considered by most very exclusive was going a face lift.We decided we will try this very beautiful condo on the beach.The pictures in the listing are true,the description didn't do this place justice.The owner was very pleasant and eager to assisst with anything.We loved the feel of this place and will stay there again and again.Thank you Alain for having us.

    Perfect Family Vacation mac1212 Ocklawaha, Fl. 32179. Date Submitted: August 05, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008 We have just returned from our vacation in St. Augustine in this wonderful complex and condo. This makes two years in a row for us and we have already made arrangements to return in July of 09. The accomadations are wonderful. Our family thoroughly enjoyed "our home away from home." The pools are great, we enjoy the pool closest to the beach because it is less busy during the day and perfect for our grandchildren, although the older kids enjoy the pool that is visiable from the balcony. We enjoy preparing meals in the kitchen as well as dining at the local resturants, with the Sunset Grille being among our favorites. Sunrise runs on the beach were only surpassed by the moon light walks. Of course a trip or two to the "Old City" is a must, as is a visit to the Fort. We even managed to get in a couple of rounds of golf. Thank you, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. We are looking forward to our return in July of 09. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway, Families with Young Children, Families with Teenagers

    5/5 Our Great Trip to St. Augustine Maggie54 Massachusetts. Date Submitted: July 29, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008 We stayed at this condo in St. Augustine Beach the first week of June, 2008. Our group consisted of my husband and myself, my elderly mother and our three college age daughters. The condo lived up to its description as it was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. We had a great view of one of the complex's pools from our interior balcony and could see the ocean from the balcony outside the condo's front door. The entire complex was very well cared for with neatly groomed, tasteful landscaping and buildings. It was quite a paradise for us Northeners! We enjoyed the pools and the ocean each of the perfect blue sky, 80 - 90 degree days we were there. St. Augustine is a lovely, quaint old city with many different kinds of opportunities available. It is about a 15 minute ride from the condo and we especially liked the restaurants and the trolley tour of the city. We would recommend this condo to anyone looking for an escape to the beach. Recommended for: Sightseeing, Age 55+, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Families with Teenagers, Girls Getaway

Date Submitted: May 13, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008 This was our first time booking a condo by owner .At first we were a bit skeptical but after calling and speaking with Alan the owner we felt good and mailed our deposit .Our stay at this condo was confotable and felt like home.It smelled good and clean.There were a couple of cracked tiles in the kitchen floor and a small stain on the living room carpet.The laundry room is private.The pools are great one of them is facing the beach. Our deposit was refunded within a couple of days.We enjoyed the condo,the complex is very well maitained ,the beach and the city are awsome.We will definetly return to this condo at our next vacation.     This was our first time booking a condo by owner .At first we were a bit skeptical but after calling and speaking with Alan the owner we felt good and mailed our deposit .Our stay at this condo was confotable and felt like home.It smelled good and clean.There were a couple of cracked tiles in the kitchen floor and a small stain on the living room carpet.The laundry room is private.The pools are great one of them is facing the beach. Our deposit was refunded within a couple of days.We enjoyed the condo,the complex is very well maitained ,the beach and the city are awsome.We will definetly return to this condo at our next vacation.

    Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
