Elk Trail House is a 2100 square foot, log home that screams Rocky Mountains! Exquisite views of Peak 6,7 & 8 are available from most windows,hot tub & deck. Located on a 3/4 acre, quite lot 2 miles from the Peak 8 Lift and even less to the new Peak 7 area. This three bedroom plus spacious loft is furnished with Southwestern, hand-peeled log furnishings, wildlife and native artifacts.
There is a pool room and lots of games and movies & books available for your enjoyment.
4 Wheel Drive vehicle is strongly recommended in the winter since we are located high in the mountains near winding roads.

Wonderful, romantic, magical stay at this house. It was warm and inviting with gorgeous views. Beautifully decorated, attention to detail. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Breck.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

THis is one of themost pleasant and comfortable houses to stay in. The location is fabulous the layout is great and the feel is like a log cabin home in your little slice of heaven. It is nice to stay in a house that feels like home where you can relax, cook your own meals or go out, watch the snow fall on the peaks, take a hot tub or play a game of pool.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family LOVES this home located in a beautiful Breckenridge neighborhood, only minutes to the lifts. Spacious kitchen and eating area, newly remodeled bathrooms and cozy beds make it a great place to relax after a day at the slopes. If you like sunlight and gorgeous views, this is the place for you!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We grew up in Minnesota loving skiing, hockey, baseball & golf. Our children graduated from the University of Denver & the University of Colorado, now live in Denver & Breckenridge,with the greatest Terrain Park in North America! Ous son sells Orthopedic implants(great if we break anything!), our daughter is a professional skiier, having won Silver medals 4 times in the X-Games in Aspen & Tinges France and is on the first ever Olympic team for Slopestyle, being held in Sochi, Russia 2014.
Why the Owner Chose Private Homes:
We chose Breck for it's easy access from Denver & massive ski area that also includes a real town. It became a favorite of our kids while attending college. The Victorian charm of the town is unique & there are events year round to entertain. In addition to the great ski area, there are beautiful golf courses & over a dozen 14ers for hiking adventures

Our house is layed out well for groups & families. It's charm is in the mountain decor with Indian artifacts & mounted moose, buffalo & bobcat. You can see mounain tops from every window, due to our location at 10,000 feet!
