Lake Sam Rayburn is the largest lake within Texas, ten miles from Powell Park and eight miles from San Augustine Park and Rayburn Park. Great fishing just in front of the lake house. Just 35 minutes from Lufkin, Jasper or Nacogdoches, which gives you access to movies and malls, antique shopping, museums and much more. Only eight miles to the nearest Dollar Store in Pineland and a Dairy Queen and other restaurants. Brookshires Grocery 18 miles away.
