Perfect for a business or holiday visit, this spacious, beautifully furnished apartment is centrally located. It borders on the canal district in one of Amsterdam's most renowned districts, the Jordaan. Many of Amsterdam's best shops, cafes, restaurants, markets, galleries, and museums are found in or near to this lively neighbourhood in the old center. Pleasantly located on the two ground floors in a quiet residential street, this 1000 square foot (100 square meter) apartment has all the modern amenities to make your stay more than comfortable.
The large, light and airy open plan kitchen and eating area has a loft atmosphere and is extended by a private and sunny courtyard. The large kitchen had been recently renovated to a high spec and is fully equipped. There are 2 outdoor spaces for lounging and dining- a patio and a terrace shaded by wisteria. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms and the bathroom. It is possible to rent the apartment with one bedroom or, also with the second bedroom if you have a larger party for an additional fee. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub with a shower and a separate toilet. Whatever the reason for visiting Amsterdam this apartment with its super location will be a great place for a comfortable, carefree visit.
Location: Around the corner from the Anne Frank House, ten minutes away from the Rijks, van Gogh, and Municipal Museums. Near to the train station, public transport, and bike rentals and most of the main tourist attractions.

Excellent Saturday Farmer's Market with organic produce. One street away there is also a large Saturday marjket with food, clothes, flowers and much more.
Along this street are many, many shops all the way into town. There are a number of streets together called the ”NIne Streets“ with an array of designer and specialty shops.

My wife and I rented this apartment in September, 2011. We are in our 60's. The location is on a quiet side street in a residential area, that has plenty of nice restaurants nearby, is a short walk to the Anne Frank House, and is a reasonable walk to the museums. The nearby canal with its traditional houses is so lovely, you have to stop and take photos. This location is really, really nice. The apartment is on two floors: the kitchen and living room on the ground floor and a bedroom and bathroom (shower and sink, but no toilet) upstairs. The kitchen is well-equipped and very functional. Currently, the toilet is downstairs. A fairly narrow and steep staircase separates the two floors. This might be an issue if you have physical impairments. The place is spacious and bright, and there are outdoor patios. I would have given this rental apt a 5-star rating, except for the fact that currently the only toilet on the ground floor. This would be an inconvenience if you have to use the bathroom at night since you would have to navigate the narrow staircase (which is lighted). I believe that a planned renovation for the near-future will be to add a WC upstairs. When this happens, this will be near-ideal place to rent.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing.

I had a wonderful week at this property, the apt is bright and cheery, both up and down stairs has a lovely outside balcony, the downstairs has great new appliances and it is nice & cosy and has lots of room, the upstairs has a realy great comphy bed and is very bright, shower was brand new and really nice. it is in one of the best locations in Amsterdam, close to all the good shopping, restaurants, parks museum's, and it is really safe. The owner Moira is wonderful and will help you should you have any questions or concerns. cant wait to go back S

Our family's week-long vacation in Amsterdam was amazing from start to finish, and that's due in no small part to this exceptionally beautiful, spacious, well-maintained, and well-located apartment. We rented an apartment in Paris the previous year, and thus thought that we knew what to expect -- but our experience in this apartment set a new standard. The house itself is beautiful, with a huge and easy-to-use kitchen, along with a large dining room table that easily seats the whole family. (And we like to cook, so this was important!) The rooms were clean, well lit, and had comfortable beds. We barely had time to watch TV or listen to music, but the apartment was well stocked with TV, cable, DVDs, CDs, and the like. The WiFi connection, which we used for work and to plan our next day's schedule, was fast and stable. As tourists, we couldn't have been in a better location: We were a short walk from our day-to-day needs (supermarkets and the all-important ice-cream store), from public transportation (numerous trams lines and canal boats), and from a large number of museums, from the Anne Frank House (a 5-minute walk) to numerous museums and attractions, from Dam Square to the floating flower merchants. It was easy to get to and from the airport, and to the central train station, from which we went on several day trips out of Amsterdam. The owner is nice, helpful, and receptive to questions, and provides a booklet explaining the workings of the apartment, with a map of local attractions and businesses. The very few issues that we had during our stay were handled quickly and without any fuss. We strongly and enthusiastically recommend this apartment, particularly for families (like ours) with young children who want to be in a convenient location for their stay. We enjoyed it thoroughly -- and if there's any bad news, it's that we have new and higher standards than before for vacation rentals on future trips.
