We stayed at this house the first week of January, 2008...and loved it! The house is beautiful and the location was excellent (less than 5 minutes to Beaver Creek and maybe 12 minutes to Vail Village)! The house has a great set up for those traveling with kids. My husband and I stayed on the top floor and our young daughters were on the first floor, much to our delight we could rest in peace without hearing them yell. The girls loved the flat screen TV, hot tub, games that were there and having baths in the jacuzzi tub upstairs. We loved the location, quiet surroundings and beauty of the home and view off the back decks! We are already trying to plan another trip out this ski season!

We stayed in this lovely home in February of 2006. We wanted a ski lodge for friends & family to ski at Vail & Beaver Creek. We found this location convenient, and for the price is a very solid deal. We looked in Vail, but this home is more affordable and nicer than most we looked at. You feel like you are the first people to stay there, everything is brand new. The river is absolutely gorgeous and has a peaceful effect. The hot tub is unbeatable. When you are in it you can see the Colorado stars, you’ll say to yourself, “this is living.” We will stay at this home every ski season for the next few years. In June of 2006 we were back for a wedding, my relatives were impressed with the area and especially this home. This location is unbelievable in the summer. Fly fishing is literally right out the back door. You don’t need a guide, just a fly rod and you are good to go (I'd recommend waiters up to chest). We went on a different hike every morning, all within a mile from the home. The barbecue on the upstairs deck was a hit. My relatives had such a nice stay they are going to come back to this home next summer.Micah & Lynsee – Denver, CO

If you're looking for the perfect family retreat in winter or summer you'll find this house and location magnificent in every respect. The description given and pictures that were emailed to me did not adequately describe how awesome an experience we could have. During our first stay in February 2006, we had a total of 8 adults and 4 young kids and surprisingly never felt cramped in the spacious layout. We skied twice in Vail and twice in Beaver Creek and traveled to both locations by bus (which was remarkably easy and preferred over finding parking for three cars). After skiing, the HUGE hot tub was such a treat. The other two days we visited the nearby pool and we (especially the kids) enjoyed it as much as our time on the mountain. Having two separate family rooms was key with the kids. The kids mostly spent time in the downstairs family room while the adults retreated upstairs in front of the fireplace. After the kids went to bed, we loved watching movies on the HD plasma with surround sound (I'm a huge fan of state of the art electronics). We stayed here again in July 2006 with 6 adults and 7 kids this time. The sound of the river was relaxing which can be heard from every room. Dinner outside on the balcony overlooking the river was spectacular each evening. The location is great because everything is so close. One day the guys golfed across the street while the women and kids enjoyed Vail. The second day a couple of us mountain biked Beaver Creek while the others walked around Beaver Creek village, where we all met up for dinner. The pool was again a huge hit. A couple of details about the house: My wife and I stayed in the master suite and absolutely loved it. We truly enjoyed the master bath's jetted sauna tub, which easily fit us both. Another nice touch was the large kitchen overlooking the upstairs family room. The first floor kitchenette was also great for movie-time snacks and popcorn and saved us from running upstairs for drinks and snacks while in the hot tub. Also, they have great cookware and tableware which is a small detail but nonetheless a nice addition. The furnishings and the linens are luxurious. Another nice feature for us was having a washer and dryer on both the first and third floors. I could go on and on. My family and I like to visit Colorado at least once annually and we will definitely stay here again.
