I stayed here with my boyfriend on our Hawaiian vacation, and it was truly one of the main highlights to our stay. For starters, OCEAN VIEW!!!!! I loved our private patio that had a panoramic view of the ocean, and was only steps away from the sand. The entire place was decorated in an authentic Tommy Bahama feel (suuuper cute!) and actually had a full kitchen! We went to the local supermarket up the road and cooked dinner ourselves for a few nights, and enjoyed the peace and quiet as we had wine outside under the moon and stars. We felt that we actually were living on the island, not 'staying' there. I had never rented a place before and usually just stay in hotels, but for the price we paid per night to stay at this property...we'll never stay in a hotel again when on the island. We're planning a trip to make it back this winter, and our best friends are going this summer. I will continue to recommend staying here to all of our family & friends. ALOHA!

Great time

We had a great time on this, our first visit to the Big Island. We love the location of the condo. It is very conveniently located and with Magic Sands Beach right across the street from us it was fantastic. We watched the sun set every night. The condo is great. IYou know you have arrived in HI, the decor and design speak for themselves. We LOVED it. It's very comfortable. You step into a one bedroom with a comfortable queen size bed, plenty of dresser space and good light. The bathroom has a great tiled shower, plenty of counter space (for suntan lotion) and also plenty or room for towels - which by the way were fluffy and plenty of. Even though we ate out most of the time we found the kitchen to be very handy. There were plenty of glasses and dishes if we were to use them. Of course we used the fridge and microwave as we did bring back left overs and beverages. Each room had a fan and there were additional stand up fans to move the warm air gently through the condo. We felt very secure, and kept the sliding door in the living room and the storm door in the front open most of the time. We met some of the neighbors, the folks next doors were a great help to us whenever we had any questions and as we stayed there during Ironman - all the condos filled up quickly - but everyone was great and having fun. It's not a big condo complex by any means, we liked that a lot. We did not want a place on the 22nd floor or six stories up, this worked out perfect for us. -and oh and the parking was great too. It was just feet away from the front door. We are looking forward to our next trip and hope to stay there again. I keep pictures of this place and of our time in HI as my screensaver on the computer - this way I get to see them daily. Your condo made it easy for us to get around the island as it has quick access to the main roadways. All we can say is: We'll be back and MAHALO!

Cute Junior 1 bedroom Condo

Perfect! it was exactly what my boyfriend and I needed. Great location, clean, cozy and has all the kitchen amenities you could need! Only thing is that because of the humidity the condo can get stuffy and a little smelly once you return at the end of the day from your daily activities. Nonetheless for the price and location it is a good deal. I forgot some things when we checked out, fortunately I was only going to the other side of the island so when I returned to Kona Kathie and CJ were accommodating and helpful in giving me my items back.

Kona White Sands Condos

Was there for the whole month of March 2011, had a great time! Not far from great food, farmers markets, beer, and the beach is right across the street! The Tsunami was a bit un-nerving for 15 hours but that too turned out to be a great adventure. The only thing that sucked was dial-up internet. Great place, great neighbors and good times.

Kona White Sands

Unit has recently been renovated and updated. Everything was tastefully done, comfortable and very clean. The only problems we had were because of the proximity to the noisy street and the neighbor who played his TV all night. Even though it cost us, we elected to vacate the unit two days early and move to a quieter location.
