Very few homes offer a serene natural lake front view but located less than 1 mile from Disney. Spacious, Convenient and very private, Chip's Condo is easy on your budget while providing you and your family a better quality stay!
This home is our parent's winter home and is maintained and kept as you would want it for your parents! At over 1650sq ft, Chip's Condo is comparable in size to a typical 3 bedroom pool homes. Two master suites, each with king size bedding, private bath with over size showers, twin bedroom with a full bath next to it and well thought out quality furnishings throughout make this a great alternative to a pool home. The private den with personal closet makes room for two more guests in case you need room for 8, and is a great, quiet reading area as well. Great Entertainment does not end at the parks, as we have a Big Screen TV outfitted with a Sony Playstation 2 for game time. The living room has very comfortable offering a lazy boy chair, a side chair and a comfortable sofa to relax and enjoy the great views of beautiful Sun Lake. The covered lanai offers a recliner lounger with ottoman and a glider for that relaxing movement for the active person.
Chip's Condo at Sun Lake Condos is a place you can stay without having to have a car to go to the many theme parks, convention centers, outlet shopping malls and both the Orlando International Airport and Sanford International Airport. Public bus #55 runs along US 192 - only one block from the development. You can change buses and go anywhere in the area.
This condo offers great values for a great home! This is our families total source of income, so we value your business! You can save a lot of money staying off Disney property and what is even better is once you have stayed with us, we fell you will agree - you will never return to a cramped and noisy hotel room.

Weekday rates (Sunday thru Thursday) range from $89 to $149 per night.
Weekend rates (Friday and Saturday) range from $129 to $149 per night.
Holiday rates are $169 per night. Holiday weeks: Christmas, New Year's and Easter
3 weeks around Easter each year.
Departure cleaning fee is $100 for each rental.

We are two retirees from Kentucky. We sold our family farm and now we are in our 80's and want to take advantage of the warm Florida winters. Our son manages the business and takes care of our home as his mother taught him! You will find it to be clean and meticously maintained - if you find it otherwise please let his mother know! Seriously, we hope you enjoy our winter home when you visit Disney World as much as we do. We appreciate the guests we have who have taken care of Chip's Condo when they have stayed with us. Our family of 5 adults found Chip's Condo was a great place to stay! It was quite comfortable for us and offered plenty of room. It was clean and well maintained, with very nice decor. The pictures are a true depiction. We communicated by email with the owner on arrival, as they had suggested, and reported only normal wear-and-tear, nothing that needed attention during our stay. We received an immediately reply and a very nice follow up later in the week. We were very at ease there and found it much better than staying at a hotel. It was great to have a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. We thoroughly enjoyed our week. This is a great location for easy access to Disney Parks and area attractions, and there are grocery stores, retail shopping, and restaurants nearby. Also, easy access to and from Orlando Int'l Airport. All in all, it was a great location for us!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Our family enjoyed our stay at Chips Condo very much. The pictures represent the condo perfectly. The place was very comfortable for the five of us. The listing shows 2 baths, but this unit actually has 3 full baths. Very easy to get to all the Disney parks. Many restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store. An excellent bargin.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Upon arrival we noted extensive staining of the carpets which made the whole house feel dirty. No money has been put into the house in a long time. Everything felt used and dated. While in advance we received adequate communications with property management, once we started complaining no one kept in touch. The house was so uncomfortable we actually considered moving out in advance. Instead we spent as little time in the house as possible.

This was a terrific place, everything was as advertised. A very nice condo in a nice area, a hop skip and a jump from Disney World. My only problem was we paid $20 for wireless internet but did not receive it. Attempts to receive a refund were unsuccessful. I appreciated however that the deposit was just a credit card hold. At our last vacation we had to send a check which was cashed. Getting that refunded to us (the owner writing a check and sending it to us) took a long time and a lot of phone calls, so I'm glad this was never an issue here.

The 4 bedroom condo was excellent,it had every thing that you would need, it had alot of room and a great view of the lake, we enjoyed it the time we were there.
Recommended for:People with disabilities, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Our family enjoyed this home very much. It was everything we were told it would be and more. The owner provided us with great information about the area and the home was immaculate. The kids loved the pool and big screen TV. My husband and I loved the hot tub. If you are looking for a place close to Disney this is a great place to stay!

Our stay in January was the best vacation our family has ever had. This home is all it said it was and more. We found the home very clean, very well located and comfortable. A great value. The beds were so luxurious and the home was beautifully decorated. We all hope to return next year.
