A perfect retreat for those wanting to be off the strip but close. Had a get together of 4 ladies. The private bedrooms & baths were perfect. We used the hot tub, billiards, tennis and pool and enjoyed them throughout our stay. Ron was very helpful, there in a moment when needed. There are more trees on this property than any homes in the area. Did some jogging around the neighborhood and enjoyed the area, sparsly populated with little traffic. A casino close by, Silverton, was perfect for our needs after doing the Strip. Convenient location to airport, freeways & shopping too. Very relaxing & a great value!

Ten of us stayed for a week in November. Everyone had a great time & loved the house. Close enough to the strip & airport but far enough so as to afford privacy & peacefulness. The den/bedroom & the bedroom over the garage could use some furniture/closets to keep clothes in. Aside from that everything else was more than satisfactory. Would absolutely stay here again if the circumstances warranted it.

Just spent fall break here. Nine of us stayed in this house. We were in town for my niece's wedding and it was a great house to come home to after the wedding or reception or just a night on the town. It's located conveniently to the strip but secluded enough to feel peaceful. The bedrooms all had their own bathroom, which was a great bonus. The hot tub, pool table, tennis courts, basketball court offered enough activities for those who chose to stay home while the others went out in the evening. The pool was way too cold to use at this time of year. The layout of the house was spacious and very comfortable for all of us to hang out together. The back yard is great!!

We rented the home for a week which included the Labor Day holiday. The house is exactly as described, roomy and clean. Ron was pleasant to deal with and easy to contact. Close to shopping (outlet and other retail), restaurants and the Vegas strip. The backyard was fantastic. We had a few issues-no gas in the grill (not included with the rental price), killed three scorpions in the living room, no hot water to upstairs showers, TV upstairs didn't work, and a pesky mouse out on the patio) but overall we enjoyed our week. would like to see updated linens (towels and comforters have seen better days), We never could figure out how to turn on the outdoor stereo or lights for the pool but we used the hot tub most nights because the pool was ice cold day and night. Little things make a big difference between good and excellent and I rate this rental as good because of all the little things that came up during our stay.
Owner response:Yes Vegas has Scorpion's,There called Wood Scorpion's you can spary for Insects but the Scorpion's no matter how much you spray they're hard to Kill.Unless your allergic to Bee Stings a Sting from the Wood Scorpion is much like a Bad Bee Sting. It was'nt a Mouse there a Desert Roden they usually come around looking for Water & Food.Linen's & Bedding is Changed every 60 Day's or sooner if necessary.Pool Temp is 85-90 Degree's,but when it's 100 plus out side it definately feel's cooler. As for Hot water in Up Stair's Shower's just left house after Checking I got Boiling Hot Water.Possibly Tank was out of Hot Water after other Guest's Have Showered. We take all suggestion's and recommendation's seriously. Thanks for Feedback it Only allows us to Deliver a Better Product...

Stayed at this house with 7 adult friends. The biggest compliment I could this is that "it was very much a home from home" and a bit more. The tennis court, hoop and pool really added to a first class stay. The owner was really helpful and great to deal with too! A large house with everything you could need. I would have no hesitation renting this house again.

We just spent a week at Ron's Oasis in the desert, and it sure was one. When we first walked in, everyone said the same thing, "this is sure better than the pictures on the website"! The home is layed out very well, with plenty of room for everyone. Common areas with room for all, but bedrooms nice sized for quiet time if wanted. It was too cool to swim, but the hot tub was great, as well as the tennis court and basketball hoop. Will definately consider this home again.

We had the pleasure of staying at "the oasis" for a week in mid February 2011. The place was fantastic. It was so nice to have a quiet spot to retreat to after golf and spending time on the strip. It was close to all ammenities and only about a $20 -$25 to the strip. The cabbies found the place without problem and were able to direct us to all the hot spots. The grocery store and local target made getting supplies easy. We'll definitely be staying here again when in the area. Thanks so much Ron.

Family (seven adults) gathered from around the country in sunny Las Vegas for a 4 night stay. House was perfect for visiting, relaxing, cooking. Lots of space in the house, but we spent most of our time in the back yard, either in the large hot tub, sitting in the sun around the pool, or playing tennis. We ate most meals by the pool, using the outdoor grill. Plenty of sleeping space with three bedrooms having full attached baths, and a den. House was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, but still easy to get to the strip, grocery stores, and airport. We did day trips to Hoover Dam, Red Rock Canyon, and Ethel M Chocolates, would recommend all three! Ron responded quickly when we ran low on supplies (dish soap and garbage bags). Would definitely stay again when back in Vegas!

We just returned from a class reunion at Oasis! Property was exactly as described in the listing. Very well maintained and simply awesome! We were disappointed we couldn't use pool due to 50 degree weather but the hot tub was great. Tennis court was a big reason to stay at this place and we enjoyed the tennis court very much. Ron was very helpful in answering our questions. Kitchen was fully equipped, and it was ready to cook away! We hope to stay at this property in the future and I would surely recommend this place to a friend or relative. Don't pass the opportunity to stay here, you'll never be disappointed. Thank you Ron!

Our family just had our reunion at this property (11/5-11/7/10). It was perfect. The house had plenty of room and the yard was fantastic. Everyone was so pleased with the setting. Lots of parking, quiet, convenient to a full array of stores, and easy access to the freeway and two nearby off strip casinos. Best of all is that Ron is so great to work with. I definitely would return should I need another vacation rental in Las Vegas.

This home is an excellent location for a family reunion as well as a personal getaway! The layout of the house is fantastic. We each had our own space and there was more than enough room for the family to enjoy each other without being crammed into a small space. The yard IS an Oasis! Lush green grass, a wonderful pool and a warm jacuzzi! Great ammenities for a fun filled time. Thank you so much for providing a great place to stay in Vegas!

This house was perfect for us! It was so nice to be able to get away from the Strip and have a little R&R at your beautiful home! We couldn't have picked a better location! We had 4 kids (ages 1-6) with us and they all had so much fun playing on the tennis court, the huge beautiful backyard and the pool/hot tub. We also brought a babysitter along with us and the house setup was perfect....so nice for her to have her own bedroom and bathroom during our stay. We were so glad you had a Pack 'n Play for us to use, too! The only other thing that would have made our stay better would be a booster seat to use at kitchen table and a baby gate to use at bottom of the stairs. Other than that, everything was perfect! I have already recommended this house to friends and we will definitely stay there again sometime! Perfect house for families! :) Thank you!

Ron maintains his property in excellent condition. The landscaping is pristine. The appliances, HVAC, pool and spa work better at his place than they do at most people's own home. The home is close enough to the Strip to make it a convenient short drive while simultaneously being far enough away to make you feel like you are in a World apart. I would recommend this home to my friends and family that wish to have a unique Vegas experience. The home provides the right balance between the laid back, homestyle, family and friend intimate vacation experience, and the what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas party experience that you can easily find on the Strip. Ron is "faithful" in what he promises, which is a wonderful vacation retreat.

Thanks again for letting us hold our daughters wedding reception there also, the backyard, the patio, the pool fantastic. All we can say is that after staying here you can really understand why people have made the comments they have made about this property ! Thanks again Ron.

Where do we begin? Well, first by thanking Ron for being a wonderful host. His level of caring and service was phenomenal. Second, by complimenting him on the quality of his property. It is truly a litle piece of paradise. We spent five glorious summer weeks at this property and did not want to leave. We didn't even notice the heat between the air conditioning and the pool. Having the tennis court for our morning game was great, followed by a dip in the pool to cool off. Then off to visit the sites of Las Vegas that were all easy to get to from our location. We were even able to have family visit with us for a week with all the room (they loved the place). The gym was handy for our workouts and we were able to cook some of our own meals with the spacious kitcen and BBQ grill (When we needed a little break from all the great Las Vegas restaurants). Nothing beats sitting by the pool on a sunny Vegas day looking out over the beautiful back yard, the blue sky and the mountains. We cannot recommend this property highly enough to do it justice. If you have the opportunity, you must visit the Oasis at least once!

We have a 5 yr experience renting in Las Vegas and this is our top choice by far. We ALWAYS love to stay at this place. It is the best of everything- close to the Strip, dog friendly, huge yard, washer/dryer, owner friendly (and he really cares you had a good stay). Make sure you tell Ron what you are planning, whether you will make large meals in the kitchen, bringing a pet, or expecting to use the hot tub or pool- he will check it for you. Cleaning is included- no worry about a big fee if you overlook something small!

4 couples stayed from May 10-17. Lots of room for up to 5 couples (more if you want to share bedrooms). Great time, great place, very well-maintained, great location. Lots of use of the pool, hot tub & tennis court kept us busy & was a perfect contrast when we weren't on the strip. We even walked to Silverton Casino a couple of nights when we felt the urge for a little more gambling. Ron was so helpful, very quick to respond to our questions & needs & we had our refund promptly the day after we got home. Our only suggestion would be to add dressers or wardrobes to the bedroom above the garage & the den for clothes storage & mini-blinds on the glass door on the den/bedroom for privacy. Also, a full propane tank for the BBQ would have been nice, to avoid the inconvenience of running out while cooking & having to send someone after a couple of drinks to get a refill. We had a great vacation & would highly recommend staying here & would stay again without a doubt. Thanks Ron.

Several of us didn't even go to the casinos this time. Ron is great to work with, he responds to emails usually within the hour. We rented the 2 guest houses and they are every bit as nice as the main house. I would recommend this to anyone. We plan to come back for my mom's 80th--any excuse we can find!

Our family (2 adults, 2 boys, 1 dog) stayed here for 7 nights over Spring Break. We had a most wonderful stay at this beautiful house and in fact for the first 3 days we were so comfortable we didn't even leave to visit Las Vegas or do any sightseeing. The grounds are beautifully maintained and landscaped. It would be a lovely setting for a garden party or get together. The interior of the house is spotlessly clean with everything you need. All the bedrooms have their own bathroom and there is lots of room to spread out. We used the tennis court every day (sorry Ron for all the balls that went over the fence!) and the boys loved the hot tub. I walked the dog around the neighborhood and enjoyed the peaceful setting. We will definately be back!

Our group of 8 visits Las Vegas for the NASCAR race every year. We decided that we wanted a more secluded, quiet area to stay rather than at the casinos. This provided the privacy we wanted with the ability to come and go as we pleased without hassle. We used the hot tub, pool, and exercise room. Most of our party are runners so we found the area in the vicinity of the home to be idea for a nice morning jog. This house was truly amazing and we want to return every year to enjoy the weekend at NASCAR. We have already passed the secret on to our other friends. Lastly, Ron is great and personalizes everything to meet your needs. From the Idaho NASCAR GROUP

The accomodations and hospitality were 1st rate. Not only was Ron able to accomodate our "crew' very comfortably, but his hospitality was second to none. When we come back to Las Vegas we hopefully will be able to stay here again. Thanks again Ron.
