  We have vacationed at this home for 4 years now. Each July, we packed up our family and have flown from Kansas City to Boston, to then drive to this wonderful cottage. Despite the tedious travel, this has remained a vacation destination favorite. It's the perfect place for children and adults, alike. The house is very well maintained. The owners have done a great job of mixing modern amenities with quaint cottage charm. The kitchen, dining, family room is open and airy (a great place to gather). Our favorite part of this home, however, is the tree-lined private backyard & deck. The kids love playing volleyball, soaking in the hot tub, or swinging in the hammock. We enjoy a glass of wine & lobster dinners on the deck while watching them having much needed 'room to run', after a hard day at the beach. Another bonus - washer/dryer in the home. We are still trying to determine how to replicate the outdoor shower in Kansas City! The best part about this home, is that the owners have always made us feel welcome, by keeping our children's art work in the home (even though we have never met). If you are looking for a great place for a family retreat - this is it - just not during the week when we want to be there!
