This modern 1 bedroom, 1 bath is part of an 8 unit historical building that was completely remodeled 5 years ago. The design team received the award for Costa Rica House of the Year for Interior Design for 2010.
It has dark hardwood floors, slate countertops, Bosch appliances and a huge open kitchen and 10 ft high ceilings.
The marble bath bath and glass and wenge wood vanity complete the best way to enjoy your stay in South Beach.
Ipod sound system and flat screen TV for your entertainment. Wifi Internet access. 929 Michigan is right in the middle of South Beach -- walking distance to all the bars, nightclubs, beaches and restaurants, but still located on a quiet residential street.
If you aren't here to play the condo has the easiest access to the causeway to head downtown and to work or to the I-95.
As long time locals we will even share with you our favorite spots!!
The building is pet friendly and kid friendly.
Flamingo Park: We are 1.5 blocks from Flamingo Park with tennis courts you can play on for a few dollars, a kids water park and regular park -- with a rock climbing wall for kids !! There are two dog parks and countless soccer fields. There are also many bike rental stations that allow you to bike from place to place -- there is no need for a car.

I used to book hotel rooms, but as I was with my parents and 2 children including a 20 months baby, renting an apartment was finally more convenient....what a beautiful stay!! The apartment was really as on the pictures, a baby cot has been provided,the washing ang drying machine was perfect with 2 children , we felt so at home!!! 10 mns maxi from the beach , less than 5 mns from Whole foods, as well from Publix.... Elizabeth was so helpful with my questions , really efficient and so quickly!!! I already know that I'll be back.... Nothing to say except PERFECT!!!!! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in the fantastic apartment of Elizabeth. We stayed two weeks and didn't had to rent a car. Everything is walking distance. The apartment is very clean and quite. We loved to do our breakfast in the morning in the well equiped kitchen. This was a great place to stay and a perfect location for us, especially since we were visiting South Beach for the first time. The property was clean, well-maintained, and close enough for us to walk to almost everything. I hesitate to recommend this apartment to too many people, as we'd like to return and have it be available!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

PROS:The condo was spacious and well maintained. The outside will fool you as to how nice it is on the inside, the amenities were great, full kitchen, washer/dryer etc, the location is walking distance to the beach and main south beach area (sometimes we took a cab if we had on heels and didn't feel like walking). Our rental agent (Elizabeth) was amazing! She was always available via email with any questions that we had. CONS: It echos inside the complex, so you almost have to tip toe not to make any noise. Since it is a condo and not a hotel, make sure to ask how many towels, blankets, sheets etc. will be provided as you can't call the concierge to bring more up.Owner response: HI Meghan -- thank you so much for the review !! As the owner of the condo (not the rental agent) it is so important to me that our guests have a wonderful time and we respond to anything immediately. I visit Miami Beach on a fairly regular basis. Years ago I realized I was spending way too much on hotels and started looking into condo rentals. This became much easier once I was introduced to HomeAway.com. This was my first HomeAway experience in Miami and I must say it was a good one. The property was excellent for the price point and Elizabeth was very kinda an helpful. The unit looks exactly as it is pictured and was clean. Everything one needs for a short or long term stay was provided; short walk to Whole Foods included. The location is such that you can walk around the whole island, we never needed a taxi. I felt safe and the people who were actual residents were friendly. My only complaint(s) is very minor and really has no bearing on the property itself or is a non-issue for most but the lighting in the bathroom (or anywhere else) was not the best for make up application. I think it is because the lights are recessed in the 10' ceilings. Upon another visit I would just be sure to bring a lighted mini-make-up mirror. Oh and she does state in her paperwork that the walls are thin...so...when a couple came to stay in unit 7 behind me I will assume their bedroom was adjacent to mine because I was able to hear the whole Usher CD (finally, lol) and then 10 minutes of sex grunts! That was my last evening thank God. So please keep that in mind wether you are the maker of the noise or the recipient. :-)Owner response: Thank you so much for your lovely review !! Great location away from the noise but walking distance to everything. Bright and sunny apartment. Clean and well furnished , the kitchen is particularly well equipped. Well maintained building . Highly recommended, great value in that price range. Owner very helpful with food and drinks recommendations in the area ( Oliver"s bistro )Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

nous rentrons tout juste d'un sejour à Miami et ne regrettons pas le choix de cet appartement!il est fidele aux photos,pas de mauvaises surprises:spacieux,literie de qualité,cuisine très bien équipé...il y a tout le necessaire et plus encore! nous avons apprecier la situation géographique,idéale:proche de tout en quelques minutes à pieds (commerce,plage,station bus,taxi...) et surtout tres calme!un vrai luxe!le gros plus c'est également d'avoir une place de parking si vous avez une voiture(mais avec cet emplacement la voiture n'est pas indispensable!) enfin,Elizabeth,la propriétaire de de superbe lieu,est une personne de confiance,disponible et à l'écoute(ce qui est rare!) n'hésitez pas à venir ici pour vos prochaines vacances!entre amis ou en famille c'est l'appartement idéalOwner response: Merci Beaucoup !!! Just spent 4 weeks in this fantastic condo, excellent location, very comfortable, clean, quiet and so close to the beach, shopping, restaurants. If you like to cook, this condo is for you, modern kitchen, good quality appliances and fully equipped to cook any kind of a meal, Whole Foods is just 2 blocks away. The owner addresses any questions and concerns within a few minutes and takes care of everything that you might need. For all yogies - there are several yoga studios in walk in distance. If you would like to bring your dog, no problem, there is a spacious park just around the corner and the neighborhood is extremely dog friendly. Try the immediate neighborhood restaurants, Oliver's, etc..... We will be back soon.....Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
