Situated in the tranquil Rotunda West area, just a few minutes away from the beautiful, unspoilt gulf beaches, our lovely villa is a gem. The oversize lot and the open plan arrangement give a wonderful feeling of space, with lots of room for all the family. The property is located on a canal in a prestigious area with uninterupted views of the preservation area to the rear. This provides a wonderful opportunity for birdwatching and wildlife viewing from the comfort of the spacious lanai.
The great room, with it's 32 inch TV and DVD player, is large enough for everyone, but if you just want a few quiet moments, there is a lovely sitting room, where you can curl up with a book or game of cards. With rear views across the canal to a conservation area and luxuriously furnished with leather sofa’s and large comfy beds, it is truly a delight to spend time here relaxing, enjoying the stunning wild life, making use of the beautiful pool and spa and maybe a little fishing from the banks of the canal.
If you are up for something a bit more energetic, then there are two bicycles provided for you to explore the local area. If Golf is your passion then look no further, there are no less than seven lovely courses for you to choose from, all within 5 miles of the villa. Just 15 minutes drive takes you to some of the most beautiful beaches in the area, including the gorgeous Boca Grande Island. Less than a couple of hours drive, takes you to Bush Gardens and Sea World, with the Orlando Theme Parks just a little further. Boat trips, snorkelling and diving trips, kayaking, additional bicycle hire, hire of fishing equipment, all these can be arranged with the help of our local agent, who will take care of your every need, whilst you are enjoying the lovely Florida experience. With great restaurants and shopping to be found locally and some that are exceptional, worth a taking a little drive too, what more could you want!

Why the Owner Chose Rotonda West
We have always loved North America, visiting many different areas over the years. We chose Florida, for the fabulous all year round weather, relaxed way of life and friendly welcoming people. We found Rotonda in 2004. We visited many different places on the Gulf side of Florida, when were searching for our retreat, but fell in love with the area in and around Rotonda as soon s we found it. It seemed to have everything we wanted and more within the locality, and with the added bonus of having many more interesting places so easily accessable within a couple of hours drive.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
When we spend time in our home, we especially love the fact that we have access to the canal at the rear of the house and that it overlooks the Nature Preserve, rather than another home. This is a great bonus for us as it gives us the privacy we love together with ample opportunity for watching the wild birds and wildlife taking advantage of the safe protected environment of the Preserve. There is a fabulous choice of beaches within a few minutes drive which enables us to persue our other favourit passtime of walking on the beach - especially at sunset!
Watch the beautiful wild birds from the comfort of the lanai - Egret, Heron, Ibis, Woodstork, Cardinal - and many more are regular visitors to the canal bank at the bottom of the garden

I was very happy to retire in 2010 from my long career as a Financial Controller for an international group of companies and even more happy when my husband also retired earlier this year! Our favourite passtimes are spending time with our children and grandchildren, walking in the countryside, watching wildlife and reading. We have five grandchildren, all of which are growing up far too fast!

We would highly recommend this villa. The home is very clean and the furnishings are of excellent quality and very comfortable. There is virtually everything anyone would need to enjoy every day at this villa. The location is very private with a view of the canal and natural area behind. The pool area is quite large and we found it to be very relaxing. The pool and spa were fantasic. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and the management company always ready to answer any question during the stay. Thank you Caroline and Jeremy for making our vacation very memorable.

This was my families second time staying in this home. The home is very nice and well maintained, furnishings are comfortable and the pool is very welcoming after a day out and about.The owners are easy to deal with and answer questions quickly via emailThe management company is very courteous and responds quickly when needed as I found out after pulling the locked garage door closed behind myself with the house and car keys still inside on the kitchen counter. There is nothing like standing in a garage, ready to go out and realizing you do not have the car or house keys in your possession. Hazel, from the management company, was very nice about the incident and didn’t laugh at me once.I look forward to my next stay!

Everything about our stay was great. The owners were very nice and this a beautiful home in a very quiet location. This is such a lovely and comfortable home in a really peaceful area of Florida where you can relax and enjoy the local wildlife. We have been holidaying in Florida for 20 years and this home and environment is our idea of heaven!
