This was our second time staying here, the first was 2 years ago. Both times we came down it was the week before thanksgiving. Perfect weather and no lines at the parks. There were 11 (5 kids,6 adults)of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. Kids loved the screened in pool with jacuzzi, game room and community pool with a slide. Great location, it was close to all parks and many golf courses. Only thing that would keep us from renting again would be the lack of everyday necessities...Like the following: 1. No trash bags 2. No laundry detergent 3. No toilet paper (only the roll on the holder) 4. No dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. 5. No Condiments (SALT, ketchup, mustard, mayo,) 6. No remote control for two of the bedroom t.v's. 7. No batteries for the remote control 8. No tin foil. 9. No paper towels 10. No Napkins 11. Grill was disgusting. We ended up cleaning it. We had to, build up under the grill was out of control, almost caused a grease fire. We weren't expecting a fully loaded house but did expect some of the above mentioned. It almost seemed as if nobody had rented it in months. We figured the previous renters would leave some of the items behind for the incoming renters like we did both times. What can we do with a half empty laundry detergent,dishwashing liquid , Salt or tin foil? Only explanation would be that the cleaning people grabbed it. We will definitely stay at Windsor Hills in the future, whether it will be in this house again, we are not sure.

Owner response:Unfortunately this guest was expecting more, but most of the items desired are not provided by us or any other rental property. Per health codes we cannot leave condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc) in the home so if a prior guests purchases we have to remove it once they leave. Per our agreement which I have listed here, "We provide fresh bed linens, bath towels, and beach towels and basic paper products (one roll each of toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags). You may want to bring extra with you until you get to the store.". Our home is fully loaded with everything you would need. We are sorry we cannot provide condiments, detergent, etc. We provide one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom and one roll of paper towels. This is consistent with all the other rental properties. Sorry we couldn't make this guest as happy as possible.

We had a lovely time in this beautiful home. We had 12 people ages 2-85 stay together for a very special celebration of birthdays and anniversaries. Everything was great. The pool was extremely clean and well managed. The beds were very comfortable. Our family enjoyed the close attractions and shows. We only had four nights to enjoy every minute in Florida. The kitchen was a huge hit and a hang out for the whole famiy with a open family room format. The laundry room was in a very convenient area near the game room. Grandmas room downstairs was easy for her to get to and from. Thanks to Holly for easy contact and follow up with any questions. Our family had not been together on vacation in over 10 years. We were very happy to have our grown children together with us for this special vacation! We hope to be back again some day!

Family Vacation

This was our first time renting a home for vacation. We were so delighted to find that it was a clean, comfortable, lovely home, just as the description promised. The children were very happy with their themed bedrooms. We also enjoyed the Pool at the home, but did make two trips to the Clubhouse Pool. Kitchen is big and well equipped for cooking and serving big families. The location of this home enabled us to have the large playground right across the street and walk to the Clubhouse. Pool, BBQ and lanai are the perfect size for big families. Disney, restaurants, shopping are only a few miles away. Would definitely recommend anyone to consider this property to rent -- our family definitely will be back.

Disney Vacation

With four adults and eight children, ranging from 2 years old to 15 years old, this house was a perfect fit. The community pool is nice, but we enjoyed the private pool even more. I have stayed in a dozen vacation homes in the past three years and this house has the cleanest private pool by far. Love the fact it's across the street from the community playground. Extremely convenient to Disney and other attractions. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on Disney resorts when you can have your own house and pool. Very attentive property management and community representatives. Highly recommend this home rental.

Just got home from our stay at this house. We had a wonderful time staying here. The house was more than we expected, everything was beautiful. We could not have ask for anything more. Our party was 8 people (4 Adults & 4 children) having this house enabled us to bond and make lasting memories as my daughter and I am moving away from our wonderful friends. Thank you so very much for allowing us to experience this final trip together at your home. A wonderful home well worth it...

We loved our stay during our vacation to Orlando. The home was very clean and was fully stocked. We loved that the home had a grill as we grilled every night. We also love that the home had a real regulation size pool table and foosball table. Very close to Disney and we loved the fact that the community was gated. We would recommend that this home to anyone visiting the Orlando area.

The house was very dirty. The carpet was stained and needs cleaning or replacing. The paint on the walls and baseboards was in poor condition. In addition, the house did not appear to be cleaned prior to our arrival. There was popcorn on the floor, the counters were dirty and one shower in particular was dirty. Door stops were broken or missing and the crib was missing hardware. When we notified the management company of our concerns, we were told that the owner would be notified and we have never heard any response. We did have a concern about the pool temperature and that was addressed by on site management. There is an ant problem out by the pool resulting in several dead ants in the pool. The home is close to Disney, however, the photos did not accurately represent the condition of the home. We would not rent this house again!

Owner response:This is the first poor review we have received in the last 4 years of renting our home. We take this review very seriously and will look into the concerns and issues personally. We are very sorry for not living up to the expectations of this guest but are certain future guests will not be disappointed in their stay.

When we first decided to go to Walt Disney World we never would have thought of not staying at a Disney property. However after our stay, we will never stay of the Disney property again! The house was very clean and easy to get into. No problems getting in or checking out! The home was clean, in great condition with all amenities needed for a excellent vacation. The pool was great for the kids and the spa was great for us. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. There was plenty of space and beds for everyone, and the little clubhouse down the street was great for the whole family. We will definitely stay here on our next visit.

My family and I stayed in this house in July 2009. It was incredible!! There were 11 of us - 6 adults and 5 kids and there was so much room that we never felt cramped or uncomfortable. We were all so comfortable and had a ball swimming the pool after HOT days at the park. That was such a relief to just come back and relax in the pool with everyone. The location was perfect! Just a quick drive made it so easy for us to come and go to the park. I would recommend this house to anyone traveling to Disney. It was clean and kept up. The kid's playground was right across the street. It was the BEST set up!! Never a hotel again!!!
