Live like a Parisian in one of the best locations in Paris. On the Left Bank, just two blocks from the Champs de Mars/Eiffel Tower and on lovely rue Saint Dominique, our spacious one bedroom is fully equipped, well decorated, and offers all of the amenities to make your stay great. Our 550-square-foot apartment is located on the first floor (second floor U.S.) of a listed art deco building (very secure) with elevator and gardienne.
Just out your front door, you will find a fantastic boulangerie (the almond croissants are the best), rotisserie chicken, cafes, the restaurants at Fontaine de Mars (Barack and Michelle dined here in May). Within a five-minute walk you will find buses to the Luxembourg Gardens, Champs Elysees, the Louvre. The Ecole Militaire metro stop is two blocks away. Cobblestoned rue Cler, (the famed market street heralded in Rick Steve's guidebooks) is also just a five-minute walk. Grab a baguette, some cheese, and a bottle of wine and picnic in the Champs Elysees. The seventh arrondisement is home to the Musee D'Orsay, Rodin Museum, Invalides, Eiffel Tower.

We have been fortunate to spend a month in Paris, twice a year, for these last 10 years. We have stayed in different areas in Paris, and in different apartments too, until we found this apartment. We have stayed here 4-5 times, a month each time and look forward to many more visits. The pictures are accurate, our landlords are friendly and efficient. For us, the apartment is perfectly situated, near the Eiffel Tower, near Rue Cler, near some wonderful shops on Rue St Dominic, and near transportation. "Our" apartment has a separate washer and dryer, which is important to us, loads of hot water, plenty of towels and linens too. We wouldn't think of staying any place else.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

I stayed here with my husband and two young children and we found the apartment quite comfortable. The apartment was clean and the photos represented it well. The kitchen was well appointed and certainly adequate for meal preparation. It was very nice to have laundry in the apartment. There was a large collection of travel books and information which made planning lots of fun. The location was great - we could easily walk to the Eiffel Tower, as well as to several metro and train stops. Things to be aware of are that the apartment faces onto the street and there is some early morning noise when businesses open, garbage is collected etc. In addition, although there is a sofa bed in the living room, it is more suitable for children and small adults than for two to share. We found the owners very friendly and easy to work with. On the whole, we loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, tourists without a car.
