  This is one of our most favorite places!We are so happy to be able to come here to Maui twice a year and we stay in this (same) beautiful condo!!! It is like coming home!Everyone on the property is very friendly and helpful and the plus(+++) for us is Castaways restaurant on the property,just across the sidewalk from the condo!Breakfast,lunch and dinner!!And 2 for 1 pasta night on Tuesday nights!!The condo is on the ground floor,very comfortable and has everything we need.We hope anyone who is able to come to Maui and stay in THIS beautiful condo,will enjoy it as much as we do!All the best and pleasant vacation!!!

  We are writing this review while still in this great unit- has everything our family of five needs! It is so nice to be able to walk ten steps to the pool and another few to the restaurant and beach- we never use the front door as we just walk from the lanai. We have made almost all of our meals in the kitchen and the sleeping arrangements are more than ample- very comfotable and clean. This is a great unit and I would (and already have) recommended it to anyone wanting to stay on Kaanapali. Thank you! Mary and Mike

  Thank you so much for letting us stay in your vacation home, Art & Carole! It was exactly as described, and we felt at home the minute we walked in! Your unit is in a fantastic location on the property, and the amenities included - fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, stacks of towels and beach mats - made it that much more enjoyable! We will definitely be in touch when we decide on our next holiday dates!

  We were so impressed and thrilled to stay in this beautifully decorated one bedroom, that has 2 king size comfortable beds. The kitchen is filled with everything to cook with - spices included. The large change room/with bathroom sink, (tub and toilet separate) has washer/dryer in closet, in addition to lots of closet space and dressers. You just have to bring your clothes everything is here, what a convenience! The lanai sits in front of the pool and has a table w chairs and 2 lounge chairs to sit on when you are watching the blue skies or enjoying the pristine gardens. Internet, private phone, tv, dvd some of the included items in your room. The water is only 100 yards from your lanai where turtles and fish are at your snorkeling disposal

  My family and I stayed in unit E191 and had such a fabulous time! It was so relaxing and comfortable. We just loved eating our breakfast on the lanai and watching the ocean. Our three small children loved the close proximity to the pool. Seeing the fabulous pictures of the renovated pool, we can't wait to go back! The owners have the unit furnished so nice. It was extremely clean and well kept. We have stayed in other units on previous visits to Kaanapali Villas and E191 will always be our first choice. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone who is interested in visiting the beautiful island of Maui.

  We have stayed in this condo once a year for 9 - 10 years. We love this unit for its spaciousness, beautiful decorating and view. This property is full of the old Hawaiian feel and fantastic location. The beach is wide and sandy, great for swimming. And a great snorkeling spot just north up the beach. In fact, we loved this unit so much, we bought our own a few years ago. Now that we are owners, we always recommend this property to others when we do not have availability. We highly recommend Emerald 191 to anyone. And the owners are just wonderful to work with. You will be very pleased if you choose to stay here.

  We really enjoyed the use of your condo at the Kaanapali Villas. Your place was just as described and stocked with the little items ... beach towels, sand chairs, ice chest, etc. ... that made it even more enjoyable. Our week stay was just perfect! I believe that we took it all in … a snorkeling trip on the Four Winds II catamaran, a luau at the Sheraton, a sunset dinner at Kimo’s and then one at Leilana’s, a day trip on the “road to Hana” , a trip to the top of Haleakala and countless beach and snorkeling from the shore trips. The whole family all agreed that we need to go back in the winter months when the whales are in town. Maybe, we stay at your place again when we do.

  This unit is one of the worst units in the villas. I have stayed in other ones that are really nice. This smells and the floors feel thick with dirt. Mold is all over the AC vents. The owners were misleading in there rental to us. It was the worst vacation unit ever and we travel a lot. Other owners stated that it is the worst unit in the facility. Pictures are decieving.

  Owner response: We are the original owners of our beautiful E191, 43 years now. The pictures we have personally taken tell the story. Our unit is furnished with beautiful Bali antiques that give it a very unique and exotic South Pacific atmosphere for your enjoyment. The plush dark blue carpets bring in the beauty of the ocean. We have added many extra amenities to make your stay comfortable. Sitting on the lanai is so enjoyable and relaxing. You can see the ocean, the new pool and the beautiful tropical landscaping. Our Castaway restaurant is right on the beach. You will be enjoying the long white sandy beach and clear warm water for swimming. There is also wonderful snorkeling just a little ways down the beach, or just enjoy sunbathing with a view of the islands of Lanai and Molokai. Don’t forget to go to the waters edge in the late afternoon and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The sunsets are always different and spectacular! We know most of the owners and it is always fun to return and renew our friendship. They frequently refer our unit to their guests when they cannot accommodate them and often rent our unit for themselves as well. We are able to return several times a year to enjoy Maui and keep close tabs on our unit. We make sure that housekeeping keeps it in top shape. They make sure it is clean and ready for the next guests to enjoy. Because of the warm tropical air, condensation collects on the mirrored a/c vents and they are replaced as needed. It is important to us that our guests are very satisfied and pleased with the accommodations that they have looked forward to. We believe that we have achieved that goal because we have had many repeating guests for over 10 years.

  For 7 years and counting I have thoroughly enjoyed renting Emerald 191. It's a comfortable, fully equipped, POOLSIDE home with traditional Hawaiian decor in a beautiful setting,just steps from the beach and wonderful sunsets between Lanai and Molokai.
