Dear Gary and Meg, Thank you for sharing your incredible little PB condo with us. We had an amazing break and the house was perfectly appointed. Loved the touches of France everywhere and the kitchen was a delight to cook in. The charming decor and accents all over show much love and care you guys have put into this place. We will certainly be back. Steps away from the ocean, shopping and great restaurants - the location is unbelievably perfect. SD is our favorite family get-away. Can't wait to get back and stay at your gorgeous centrally located condo again.

If you are looking for a place right on the beach and smack dab in the middle of all the action in PB, this is the place for you. It is difficult to imagine a more perfect party pad, we never left the place the entire Memorial Day holiday weekend. Ralph's supermarket and Starbucks right across the street, plus be sure to check out 'Gringo's' and 'World Famous', both within a short walking distance. You really can't go wrong with this one!

This was our second visit to this property. It is located at the pier at Pacific Beach. With the sliders open, you can hear the surf as well as the energy of the crowds at the bars, restaurants below. The condo is beautifully furnished. I call it the Pottery Barn condo. The finishes are high end, from the granite countertops to the furniture, all the way to the appliances, TV and dishes. We loved the sitting area. So comfortable at the end of a long day. Although you can hear the crowds at the pier and hot spots, the condo is actually pretty quiet. Never really saw many people around and never heard anything from neighbors. We will be back again. Highly recommend it, you won't be dissapointed.

Thanksgiving in PB

This was a return visit for us. Such a perfect setting as we come to visit family for Thanksgiving. Very nicely furnished, kitchen big enough and stocked enough to cover a TG dinner preparation - a rare thing. The beach is just outside the door, we can hear and see the ocean waves - such a perfect setting. It is so convenient to everything in the area - walking distance from restaurants and stores, and just walking along the boardwalk. We will be returning again as it is just perfect, even though it's not summertime.

My daughter and I stayed here for three nights a few weeks ago, and absolutely loved the condo. Beautifully decorated, wonderful, fully equipped kitchen - exactly as described. Perfect location for walking the boardwalk and people watching. Would highly recommend. Owner a delight to work with and helpful with all questions. Great to have a secure parking space - park your car and walk everywhere!

Great stay at the beach

We think of this property as our home away from home... at the beach. We have been returning to this same condo year after year and feel very much at home.We can always count on everything being clean and tidy. We always find lots of entertainment, this year we brought our bikes and rode every morning.. even if it was to the cinnimon roll store. Our kids also met some friends and went Kayaking in the La Jolla cove. We enjoy walking to all the surrounding places to eat what ever you want.. there are a wide variety of places depending on your taste, ours favorites are Tony Romas, Konos, Surf Taco and Hennisess. Tuesday nite two for one burgers.... See you next year!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed my week in Pacific Beach at this beautiful condo! I have stayed many times in PB and this was one of my favorites....lovely accomodations, great location and great "service" from owners. You basically can park your car and never have to get back in....walk to beach, many great food spots....(we discovered Bare Back on Mission...great burgers/bears/service) Other personal favs to eat: Gringo's (try the ceviche!!!, ) Zanzibar on Garnet and Isabel's Cantina on Felspar. This condo unit is totally remodeled with no detail spared....so don't be fooled by age of the building....lots of abandoned bikes in garage:( but unit was spotless and it looked even better than pictures! The view was awesome and the energy/activity on Garnet was not a problem. Can't wait to return.

As always we had an amazing time! We love the location with the restaurants and shops nearby. We love to eat breakfast at Kono's right across the street (I look forward to it each time). It's so clean and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything but the food. It helps us save money each time we go. Thank you so much for providing all we could need to make our own meals (except breakfast). There are things in this kitchen I don't even have in my own home. This place inspires me! The pictures don't do it justice. No matter how many times I come back I am always surprised by how beautiful the entire unit is. I refuse to stay anywhere else when visiting San Diego. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

nice place minus the bar across the street

We've been going to San Diego to vacation for years and its definitely a nice place for a condominium in a great location close to the boardwalk, Crystal Pier and obviously the beach. However, I would not return to any of the units at this location (See the Sea) due to a bar across the street on the north side that has live bands and plays loud music every night but one night of the week. It got so bad, my family of four was crammed into the room on the south side of the unit one night to try and sleep. We even had sound machines in both bedrooms and you could hear the music until 2 am. It's a real shame because staying so close to the beach you like to have the windows open at night to hear the waves and have fresh air, not at this place. Speaking to several condo owners and vacationers at the buillding, they too were not too thrilled with the noise pollution. Aside from that, if you don't mind the loud music or going up and down three levels to get to the boardwalk/beach areas, it should work out nice for you. If you want to open the windows and get a good nights rest you may want to look elsewhere.

My husband and I had an incredible time at this beautiful condo! Everything was as promised...and better! We slept like a dream in the master bedroom...the linens were incredible as was the mattress! We wished we could take it home with us :) The condo was equipped with everything we could imagine...it was literally a home away from home. Kitchen is fully stocked with quality, high end amenities. We were able to save money and cook right in the condo if we wanted to; and eat out on the deck while enjoying the beautiful ocean view and sound of the waves. This condo was prettier in person that it was in the pictures! We had an awesome time! Thank you so much for opening your beautiful ocean condo to us! :) We will be returning for sure!

What a great place to relax and truly vacation. I haven't slept so well in a very long time. Your beds were amazing, I slept like a baby. You truly have provided an incredible, relaxing, and gorgeous environment. We had a great time walking everywhere for all of our needs and wants. Restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, bike rentals, and the beach are all right there! We didn't even have to get in our car the entire time we were there. It was a much needed time and I will be back in the near future. Your place was so nice I almost didn't want to leave it to go anywhere while I was there. You have me hooked; I can't imagine staying anywhere else!

Beautiful Condo

As beautiful as the pictures are, it doesn't do the condo justice. The place is not only stunning but equally as comfortable. Located in a great location..close to stores, restaurants, beach, and right on boardwalk. We enjoyed renting a bike and not having to touch our car for days. I would highly recommend Kono's for breakfast which is right across the street. For a great dinner, walk about 8 blocks down the boardwalk and enjoy "World Famous" restaurant.

Beautiful and Convenient

WOW! What a beautiful condo! Our family simply wanted to get away for a few days at the beach, and to our surprise, we got the five-star treatment. This place was incredible. We enjoyed its breathtaking view of the beach from both the master bedroom and the living area. The condo was fully equipped with leather furniture to a state-of-the-art chef's kitchen. Both bedrooms were beautifully decorated and in impeccable condition. The linens were clean and plush, and the beds were very comfortable. Although a quaint place, there was plenty of room for our family of four to sleep, eat, play games and watch T.V. Another reason we loved the condo was the convenience of its location. We walked almost everywhere. There were plenty of restaurants, shops, activities and sight-seeing without ever needing to drive. To our surprise, we discovered that Mission Beach is only a 20-minute bike ride down the coast. Thank you Gary and Meg for your wonderful hospitality and availability to us during our stay.

Home at the waves is a well-stocked Condo with a gourmet kitchen. We loved watching the ocean and all the activity from the balconies. The walks on the beach were just fabulous. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. I rented a bike next door and rode about ten miles on the beach. We had a great time and will not hesitate to book it again. Dear Meg and Gary, It was a real treat to stay at your lovely condo in Pacific Beach. We were spoiled with the many amenities and slept like a dream in the oh so comfortable beds. Your home is very warm and inviting, giving us the feeling like we were staying in a Mediterranean villa. The location is great, close to everything especially the beach. Perfect for us! We strolled along the beach in the morning with our coffee, enjoyed the beach scene during the day and lively evenings. Comment Text: Perfect location! we enjoyed leaving our car and walking to all the shops, restaurants, not to mention the beach. The shared hot tub, laundry room and garage in apt. complex was very clean and safe. We had our 14 mos. old with us and delighted the second bedroom was very quiet, dark with the blinds drawn, so she slept like an angel. Bathrooms-spotless. The master bedroom is spacious and linens superb. A little noisy in master as adjacent to bar/restaurant on street level, but music was only one night and ended at 11PM. We liked being up on the third floor for the beautiful views. You could cook Thanksgiving meal in this upgraded truly gourmet kitchen!! We really felt like we were visiting someone's very lush, comfortable, and lavish home! A gem in the heart of PB!!! FYI-Gary (owner) was available anytime we called!!Thanks, Meg & Gary!

My husband and I spent our honeymoon at this lovely and luxurious condo. Gary and Meg did a fantastic job updating and upgrading and didn't leave anything out. The bed was unbelievably comfy and the linens were of a fine quality. The kitchen is fantastic. We didn't cook in very often, but it had everything anyone could imagine in cookware and glassware. The location could not have been more perfect being in N PB just a short ride from La Jolla. The people watching was fantastic, the beach perfect and right at our door and the communal patio facing the beach was my favorite place to read and sun. I would recommend this condo and hope to be back in the near future. Thanks Gary and Meg!!!

We have stayed at this condo development (See the Sea) several times but Gary's unit is BY FAR the nicest of the bunch. The unit is remodeled with top of the line items - not "junky second hand stuff" that some use for vacation rental units. The location is great for the beach as well as all the little shops on Garnet and lots of restaurants within walking distance as well as a Ralph's Supermarket and Starbucks! When my 23 yr. old daughter (who we were visiting in San Diego) came over the first thing she said was "This is like a rich person's place!" Her friends were equally impressed and wanted to live there! Can't say enough good things aout this unit and the owner (Gary) was very friendly & accommodating.

Accommodations were very nice. Everything top of the line,from linens to decor. The kitchen was a chef's dream w/ everything you'd need to make a gourmet dinner. Glasses for any drink! Miles of sandy beach. Great location, close to San Diego and LaJolla. N

We had rented in this building before (See the Sea Condos) and liked the location, building and convenient underground parking. We decided to find another condo in the same building and found this one. We loved it! It was like being at home.... it had everything you would have at home from a fully stocked kitchen with upgraded stainless steel appliances, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, etc to luxurious sheets and towels to plasma TV's in the living room and master bedroom. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. In the evening we would sit on the balcony, have a cocktail and watch the waves and people. Each morning my husband took a walk along the beach and brought back Starbucks. There were plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. We spent a full day in La Jolla which is only 5 miles north, another day at Sea World, a day on Coronado Island visiting the shops and Hotel Del.... maybe I'm going on too much about the area and not the condo. Trust me, there is absolutely nothing negative about this condo. It was immaculate and didn't feel like we were in a "rental". If you're looking for a condo to bring the gang and party, this isn't it. This is a place to appreciate, relax and soak up the San Diego beach atmosphere. Five stars all the way!

See the Sea and hear the waves

We stayed a week and only rented a car for a couple of days to take us to the attractions that were further away. There are many restaurants very close by such as Belgium Freis, Thai Village, and Liberty Pizza for the kids. Trader Joe's was only five blocks away so you don't always have to eat out. The condo unit itself is so nice and well kept. It was much nicer and more comfortable than staying at a hotel. With our two young children, we went to all the kid attractions but they liked hanging out at the beach the best (go figure). The view of the beach is exactly what you see in the picture. It was nice to sit out on the balcony and watch the waves and surfers. We also had fun watching the line of customers for breakfast at Kono's across the street.

This condo is beautiful! The furnishings, decorating, appliances, even the dishes, etc., in the kitchen are all first class. We walked by the beach every day and enjoyed the beach view from our balconies. We would definitely come back to this lovely place. It is convenient to every-thing. It was fun to go out, but loved coming back to our luxury condo! The owners really have provided everything you could possibly need. We were blessed being in this home away from home. Will and Patty
