Big Trout Ranch is the outdoorsman's paradise located on the historic Lewis and Clark Trail. This 1300 acre ranch has almost A MILE OF BEAVERHEAD RIVER FRONTAGE, a SPRING CREEK, and a SIX ACRE POND STOCKED WITH TROUT. Fish the Beaverhead, Madison, Ruby, Jefferson, and Big Hole Rivers from this beautiful location, plus numerous other streams & creeks. Great duck and white tail deer hunting in the fall. There are lots of activities for non-anglers; beautiful hiking, shopping (Patagonia Outlet & antique malls), 6 state parks, plus Yellowstone, horseback riding, etc... Spectacular views in all directions! Horses welcome.

Several accommodation options are available. All three places are in very private settings spread out over 1300 acres. Choose from the following:

Vintage Log Cabin (photo below)
This quaint, cozy, one room, log cabin has been beautifully restored in the style of the old west. A stream meanders past the front porch, with the river and the pond only a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is fully self-contained with a small kitchenette and bath.

Kamloop (photo above)
This 5 bedroom, 4 bath, 3200 square foot home has been completely remodeled and has spectacular mountain views. The home's expansive decks overlook a sprawling park-like setting with 100 year old cottonwood trees as well as numerous streams and ponds that comprise the river bottom. All rooms have new beds and the house is filled with custom made lodge pole pine furniture. The lower level of the house features an antique high back bar (Johnies), a pool table, a poker table, darts, and a small exercise room.

Big Brown
This 4 bedroom, 5 bath, 3000 square foot, rustic log home has been completely remodeled with an open floor plan and a unique western style. There is custom lodge pole pine furniture throughout, with a dining room table that easily seats 14+ persons! Three of the rooms have in-suite baths. The house is a short walk from the river and spring creek. Unbelievable mountain views! Contact us for photos!
