We inherited this property, which has been in the family since the 1920's. The Cabin was originally built as a guest house for visiting friends and relatives.

Ideally situated on a tranquil, isolated waterside, the Cabin is reached from our parking area via a trail through a wooded area that effectively shields against the outside world. From the deck you can watch wildlife on Norwood Cove; if you sit still, you can watch the birds come to visit the surrounding trees. Southwest Harbor with its charming shops and restaurants is just a ten minute walk away. Some of Acadia's best hiking trails are right nearby, and fresh water swimmers have Echo Lake less tah a mile away.
