I was looking for a week's respite from work by the sea, and this lovely condo filled the bill. John and Joann went the extra mile to insure my comfort, and that was much appreciated. Looking out at the beach from any room, you definitely feel you are "on the ocean'. This is the third time I have been at this complex. The grounds are impeccable, the pool area is nicely done, and the security is top notch. I found good shopping and enough restaurants for any diet, including an organic food restaurant that I visited more than once. The nearby coffee house by the pier was another favorite, while walking the beach was a daily routine. All the best!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Would definately stay again!

I just wanted to let you know that we had a great time at your condo this past week! The new granite countertops in the kitchen and bathroom are beautiful! The kids had a great time renting bikes down by the pier, eating at Ruby's, boogie boarding, going to Legoland, picking strawberries, walking to get ice cream, trying surfing for the first time, having a hot dog roast and making smores on the beach, visiting the Mormon Batallion visitor's center in Old Town, playing pool, warming up in the jacuzzi after hours in the ocean, watching cable TV at night, and just plain enjoying being outdoors all day long! Thank you for letting us call D204 home for week!

Our Oceanside Home

A little over 1 year ago our daughter moved to Oceanside from Canton, Michigan, a suburb just east of Ann Arbor. This was our first trip to visit her, and we have found our Oceanside home. The property was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Our balcony overlooked the Pacific, where we could watch the waves and surfers every day. Every night we left our windows open so we could hear the calming sounds of the waves lull us to sleep, which sure didn't take very long! The grounds are beautiful. John and Jo Ann were also very accommodating in allowing us to check in a day early without an additional charge. My wife and I strongly recommend this property for a relaxing vacation .

John and JoAnn, We wanted to let you know how wonderful the kitchen/bathroom countertops look. The granite counters and new faucets are exquisite. This was our 5th year at the condo and we realized how much we missed it last year. It is a fantastic getaway from the gray skies of Portland. We will be back again next year for sure.

My husband and I rented this condo in 2004 for our honeymoon. I could not have envisioned a more perfect spot to begin our lives together. What an incredible place! Thanks so much for sharing this piece of heaven with us John and JoAnn. We will be back!

This March will be our third trip to Oceanside and we will of course be staying at John & JoAnns condo. This is by far one of the nicest condos. we have ever stayed at. It has all the ammenities one could ask for and then some. It is very spacious, clean and quality throughout. It is perfectly located in a secured complex right on the ocean and within walking distance to all shopping.The view is exactly as promised, full and unobstructed. In a word-SPECTACULAR.John and JoAnn are a pleasure to do business with and I highly recommend that you look no further and book this condo. for your next visit to Oceanside but you had better book early if you plan to book the same dates as us. We just got back from Rockin' Baja - you're right, we left full - in fact, with food for breakfast. We loved staying at your condo! On the way back from dinner, we started plotting how we can come back again next year. It's a great location; after driving around La Jolla today and dealing with their traffic problems, we were glad we ended up in Oceanside. I'm amazed at how little traffic gridlock there was even during rush-hour between here and San Diego. This was the perfect "home base" for all our travels. The girls loved the pool, the spa the beach and the sunsets in addition to all the shops in town! I loved that it was a safe place to let them wander without a parent always by their side. Thanks for a wonderful place to spend our Spring Break. We hope to be back someday.

Dear John and JoAnn, We just returned from our much needed vacation in Oceanside. I was not disappointed in anything. How rare for a vacation to live up to or exceed expectations. Your condo was perfect. So homey in fact, that we couldn't wait to get back to relax every time we went somewhere. Everything we might have needed was there for us{the first thing I located was the corkscrew!} We will be back and will most certainly spread the word. Wow! What a view of the surf, from inside the unit! We have been in at least 20 other NCV units and none have had the straight on view from inside the unit. We watched the dolphins frolick in the surf every morning. We walked to the harbor each day to see the seals playing in the harbor waters. We walked along the beach each day and admired the sea shells on the sand. Our grandsons spent hours in the beautiful pool and spa at NCV. We had a wonderful stay. John and JoAnns beach retreat (D204) had everything we needed for our visit. Very comfortable king bed too. We look forward to returning there soon, and with the very reasonable rate, we will.

John & JoAnn's beach retreat is a wonderful getaway for those who love the beach. It is even better, for those who appreciate being able to see and hear the waves breaking on the shore, from their room. WHAT A VIEW! Drifting off to sleep, listening to the waves crashing on the beach...I already miss it! We had a wonderful and refreshing time...thanks so much!

Dear JoAnn & John, We had a fantastic time. Your condo was great. We were amazed at how well the gardens, the pool, etc were maintained. Everything was so beautiful. Every evening we sat out after a day at the beach or pool and just relaxed to the sound of the ocean. We even got to see dolphins!! A lot!

My girlfriend and I stayed at your beach retreat for a family reunion week after a cousins wedding. This gave us access not only to your place, but to 5 other units. Without a doubt your unit was the cream of the crop. The other units had some issues with paint and décor (In fact a couple of the owners tried to withhold security deposits to ‘fix’ pre-existing conditions). However, I found your unit to be clean, and well decorated. On top of that the location is superb, adjacent to both the beach and the complex swimming pool. With cousins in Carlsbad, and a reintroduction to the fun of surfing, I am adding your units webpage to my favorites and fully intend to contact you again in the future. Thank You!
