My girlfriends and I stayed at Seven Seas for a weekend prayer retreat. The house is so charming and the accommodations were perfect. Everything we needed was right at hand, we brought our food and everything else we needed was provided. The beds were comfortable and the location is 5 star or better! We can’t wait for our retreat next year. I would highly recommend this rental home!

Well...were should I start. First of all the house is everything we expected and more. We first opened the gate and walked along the side of the house and were greeted by the Pacific Ocean. All I could say was "No way....How awesome". We spent a week here with family. The grandkids had so much fun. The sea life was cool and we flew kites and searched for sea shells. The mornings were so much fun, coffee, fruit, oatmeal....Ohhh Yaaa.........Dolphins!!! I have to say that was the highlight of the mornings. One more thing too is that the house is close to town so you can make runs for supplies. We had so much fun that I hope to return soon. Highly Recommended for true Beach House experience..............

This house is so awesome! It looks so cozy and inviting when you walk in, we just loved it. Looked just like the photos, except bigger than we expected. Nice & clean too. There was pleanty of seating & chairs, the beds were comfy with tons of pillows and blankets. There are lots of bath & beach towels, dont need to take any. The kitchen was fully furnished, tons of dishes, silverware, utinsels, with enough pots & pans for anything you need to cook. The ocean view, the best! The BBQ out on the deck was nice and the fire pit was our gathering place each evening for Smore's and stories old & new. The sunsets were peaceful and beautiful. The Dolphins swam by every morning & them some, we got some great photos! There really were giant starfish and sea creatures on the rocks at low tide, unbelievable! Everyone on the beach was respectful not to disturb the precious sea life .Plenty of parking, not to far to go to the stores, some of our group went deep sea fishing and we did venture into Ventura Harbor for a shopping/souvenir trip. Plenty of restaurants, but we chose to eat at our beach house with an ocean view! We just can't say enough about Seven Seas, we are so grateful that Tina opened up this beautiful home allowing us this chance to create some unforgettable memories with family & friends!

I went with my spouse, son and two other families with children. We all fit perfectly in the house. It's spacious with room for everyone. The scenery is beautiful. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals. The one tip I have is to be careful about going down the rocks to get intot he water. Wait for low tide, which typically happens twice a day. Overall, a really relaxing and fun time!

Just returned from 7 days at Seven Seas! It was everything you could want in a vacation home. Very well stocked and comfortable. We had several visitors come for a night or 2 and the home never felt cramped or over crowded. We all had plenty of space to be together or have private space. Tina was amazing in responding to any and all requests. We will be back!!!!

This place is amazing -- the location is simply breathtaking, with high tide waves crashing on rocks in full view from both inside and outside the house. The sandbox backyard was well-suited for kids and adults alike. The house has everything you could possibly think of needing. And Tina, the owner, makes it so easy to comply with the rules by keeping them simple and common-sensical! Our two families found perfect places inside the spacious home to do all of the activities we wanted -- from game playing to listening to music, from sleeping in late to enjoying a sunrise or late night fire pit. The beds were super comfy, and everything felt just like home. We cooked several meals during our stay and found no shortage of dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc. Although you cannot swim in the ocean directly in front (back) of the house, we drove 7 miles north to Carpinteria state beach one day and 10 miles south to Ventura Pier the next day, and both were lovely and easy to plan. And you can take a nice walk along the beach path in the gated community -- seacliff colony -- which was very private and wonderful. I would like to add for those people who may not be thrilled by the photos of this place (for some reason the photos give it a sort of seedy look) -- I was initially in the same boat, but when I finally took the leap, I could not have been more pleased. From the layout, design and funkiness of the house to the kitschy decor and happy family photos, you can tell that this is not your standard antiseptic house rental or hotel room. Enjoy!

The house is larger than we expected with a big combined kitchen/family room facing the Pacific. The house is well maintained and has everything needed! We will be back!

We wanted a 4 bdrm, 3 bth beach house that would be reasonably close to Ojai for a High School graduation we were attending - we found that at what we would call "Tiki House." The house at Seacliff had everything we needed and was priced within our budget. If it had a hot tub, it would have been absolutely perfect!!! Despite that absence, we could have easily stayed for a month, we enjoyed it that much! The kids loved going to the beach each morning to bring in the latest shell, rock, or sea creature. We loved sitting on the deck, with a glass of wine, listening to the sound of the waves. Of course Ventura and Santa Barbara are close by for restaurants and shopping. Magic Mountain (Six Flags) amusement park is even a short drive (we did that too).

Seven Seas was a perfect venue to celebrate our mother's 80th birthday. We had plenty of room to spread out and the dining room accommodated all of us. The fire pit was very popular. The house is well equipped with an eclectic collection of furniture. The second frig/freezer was especially appreciated. Nice flat screen TV on which we were able to display a slide show of Mom's life.

We went out searching for a waterfront beachouse to celebrate my Mother's 70th Birthday, we hit JACKPOT !! four spacious bedrooms, stunning gardens, and so close to the water it was unreal ! You could feel the love in the walls of this one of a kind home, My mother was blown away, we made her a beautiful dinner and enjoyed it in the super spacious dinning room, this house even has ambient lighting WOW ! The front room has a warm and inviting woodburning fireplace. The patio is perfect with plenty of space to lounge, the place was clean & gorgeous, this is a gem of a property and all of my family can't wait to go back. One last mention, Tina the owner is such a class act , and she made everthing easy . Thanks Tina for letting our family enjoy your little piece of heaven on earth, this place is worth every penny , I can not think of 1 negative thing about this place, it was way past the bar. I love the beach and have stayed at many beachfront places in california and elsewhere, this is one of the best ever !! We will be back & thanks again Tina for your kindness ! This place will NOT disappoint. 5 stars out of 5 place to stay, perfect for families. Michelle U

Loved watching the waves crash at night against the sea wall. This house is furnished with everything anyone could possibly need. I can't wait to go back with some of my girlfriends. thanks Tina for everything!

Seacliff was by far, more than we expected for our girls weekend! This wonderful house had every single thing we needed for 4 days of cooking, relaxing, walking and even enjoying a stormy day. Watching the dolphins follow two wave runners, stories by the outside fire pit, sitting by the inside fireplace were just a few of our enjoyable moments. We definitely will book "Seven Seas" for our time together next year.

Everything about this lovely home is better than described! We were 1 couple & 2 small families; each of us had really separate sleeping spaces and bathrooms; the sand deck was a delight to the little ones and they ran in and out freely all weekend. The house is well-appointed, well-stocked, comfortable, and informal. Three decks and an enclosed patio provide plenty of separate space to read or daydream. Very quiet, gated community gave lots of privacy and quiet. Furniture was comfortable; house was clean and well-maintained; owner was extremely helpful during booking process. Only minutes from Ventura or Carpinteria, we would recommend this property highly and would love to return.

Just spent a wonderful extended family Christmas gathering at this beach home. It rained heavily all 3 days we were here, and yet everyone still loved it. It is roomy and comfortable, and was everything that was described. We still walked the beach (with umbrella's) and at low tide there was a wonderful display of colorful starfish. I hope to return with my girlfriend group, as it would be a perfect getaway for the 10 of us girls also. Thank you Tina. It was wonderful, as were you.

My husband and I just spent a few days relaxing at Seven Seas. This is the first time I have rented a house and all of my expectations were met. The house was spotless, the linens wonderful and the setting as spectacular as the photos show. We watched dolphins everyday, walked the beach and sipped our wine watching the sunsets. I am hoping to return with the whole family as soon as possible. Many thanks to Tina for sharing her wonderful home!

Our family had a much needed relaxed, albeit too short, vacation together in this wonderful vacation rental. We have rented many vacation homes as we prefer them to hotels or condos and really thank Tina for providing a home with ALL the amenities one could wish for in a comfortable, relaxing, family setting. This house feels lived in, in a good way, and you really feel that you have gone back in time when things were less hectic and complicated. Yet, the home has all the modern perks, like a LCD TV and WiFi. It is a super house for any age - will be good for my 89 year old mother as it is on one level and good for young children who will love the giant sandbox. The view of course is spectacular. We highly recommend this rental - the pictures and description are exactly what you get plus tons of amenities, the property is clean and again, perfect for a relaxing vacation. We are looking forward to the next time.

Seven Seas outdid all our expectations. The minute we walked in we knew it was the perfect location. It was like stepping into the past; a time of simpler life. We are a group of 8 Santa Barbara women who wanted a sacred place to have a 10 year celebration of our friendship... 30 minutes out of town turned out to the the haven we were looking for. We never left except to walk the beach. It was roomy, comfortable and cathartic. Thank you for sharing your wonderful, historical home.

I celebrated a significant birthday here the first weekend of October and it was everything I could have asked for! I grew up on the beach but alas I don't live near one now so this was the perfect opportunity to revisit those memories. The location couldn't have been better for us being easy for everyone to commute to. We were lucky to have perfect weather with magnificent sunsets. The house was spacious enough for everyone to stay and has very private and quiet bedrooms. Our family members took advantage of all of the recreational opportunities, sightseeing and bikeriding in Ventura, quiet walks to neighboring beaches, and of course swimming and tidepooling at the beach right in front of the house. Super place to stay.

This house is perfect. We stayed for almost a week to celebrate my father's 90th birthday with a family reunion and a large party with a "Polish-Polynesian" theme. Our teenagers were delighted with the bikes and boogie boards and the beach; the wheelchair and walker contingent appreciated the single level and the accessibility of the deck and sand area; the rest of us loved the fire pit, the BBQ, completely furnished kitchen, the wonderful beds, the peace and calmness of the house, how well the rooms worked together so you could have privacy as well as group areas. All our party guests asked how we had found this fabulous place. And Tina is the nicest owner you could possibly imagine.

We stayed at Seven Seas over the 4th of July weekend and couldn't have asked for more wonderful accommodations. The views are magnificent! The house is comfortable, well equipped and spacious. We were 6 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 boys and had plenty of room with the 3 boys in sleeping bags or on the sleeper sofa. The owners couldn't have made us feel more welcome... there were even 4th of July decorations for us. We felt very much at home from the moment we arrived and are looking forward to the time we can get away again and stay at the Seven Seas. Thanks for being so easy!

Seven Seas was perfect for our family. Everyone was comfortable and relaxed and the indoor/outdoor living was ideal for our little ones. The world's largest sandbox and the outdoor shower were thrilling for them, and the dolphins swam by every day. We even watched a sea lion joyfully insult his catch! We'll be back as soon as we can be--it was the best vacation we've had.

We stayed at the "Seven Seas" over Spring Break...what a wonderful place. We had 4 adults, 2 five year olds, and a four year old. The place is perfect for young children. They had a blast in the huge sandpit and swinging on the hammock. The water was a bit cold, but the kids still enjoyd running from the waves and finding starfish. The home is so well stocked with everything you could ever want. We had planned on going out to dinner a few nights, but never once did because we enjoyed cooking and eating out on the deck too much! Each night ended with sitting around the fire with wine and smores. I will definitely return...hopefully soon!

This is the best way to vacation off the beaten touristy path but still within reach of beautiful Santa Barbara. I've stayed at Seven Seas both for family reunions and for weekend getaways with friends, and I plan on returning whenever my husband and I visit CA. Much more comfortable than a hotel - room to spread out, enjoy beach, BBQ, margaritas, music, and badminton. We bought some fresh fish and produce at one of the local farmers markets and brought it back to Seven Seas to cook - so much fun! Truly a memorable experience.

Wonderful! I live in Santa Barbara and had planned a reunion with my college roommates and the Seven Seas was the perfect choice! The 6 of us found the space and the ambience to be just what we wanted: ocean breezes, great kitchen for indoor/outdoor cocktails and dining, places to relax and enjoy the sun and shade. We had a blast and never felt the need to leave. We highly recommend this home and we've decided to make it an annual trip. Thanks!

My family has stayed at many homes along the Ventura coast over the years...Nothing compares to the Seven Seas. The biggest difference is being treated like a family member or being treated like a renter. Tina makes sure that her family home and childhood memories become your home and family memories. My two year old grandson looks at pictures of the beach house and says "Nana, the beach. I'm ready." That is priceless. Each of our vacations at the Seven Seas becomes part of the fabric of our lives. Thank you Tina!

Wow! What a place! Will never forget it for all my life! The sound of the surf, barbecuing the fresh catch of the day and smores!!! Watching the surfers was a kick and even tried it myself as those surfers are very cute! Having safe beach access was a plus and if you go for a stroll at night after a few Pina Coladas you can't get lost, it has the tallest palm trees on the beach! Oh the memories this cottage must have. I will always remember my Summer of 2008!!!

Sitting on the huge deck watching the dolphins jump and swim right in front of you. Seven Seas is by far our favorite vacation destination. We have rented the Beach House several times with both family and friends, and everyone can't wait to return. The Beach House is so comfortable, and spacious we would never consider renting a hotel room. Tina has equiped the kitchen with everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or a beach BBQ. Our family loves to boogey board, play frisbee on the beach, do a little surf fishing and just kick back with a good book or a deck of cards. It is not unusual to see whales or dolphins right off the beach deck. We can't wait for our next trip to Seven Seas, and those amazing sunsets. Thanks Tina! The Moss Family

My family enjoyed an amazing, magical, and memorable reunion with our relatives from South Dakota this past November (2008)at Seven Seas Beach Home at Seacliff Beach. Three families joined together for festive barbecues, a lobster fest, and much more. This beach house provides the perfect layout for groups or families and friends for any celebration. Magnificent sunsets, cocktail hour next to the floor-to-ceiling beach rock fireplace... family dinners in the huge open beamed family kitchen and 14' bar ---with sliding glass windows all opening to the ocean within feet. Walks along the beach, and swimming for the kids...it all adds up to a fun and relaxed vacation. We also enjoyed our day trip to Santa Barbara to see all the sights. We're planning our next family reunion there very soon...

My family and I had the opportunity to stay at the Seven Seas over Christmas last year, and we enjoyed every minute of our SeaCliff vacation. From early morning beach walks with the kids to sunset card games on the deck, we loved listening to the surf, walking along the promenade and spending time together as a family. And those SUNSETS! We'll never forget our week along the Pacific Ocean! It was a family vacation we could not have afforded if we were staying in hotels and eating out in Santa Barbara. We highly recommend it!
