Relax with your family at our recently renovated, private channel home, in family-friendly Cherry Grove Beach, located on the far north end of North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our raised beach cottage is located 150 giant steps to the sand and directly on the 45th Avenue channel, that flows into Hog Inlet. We are located conveniently between the Cherry Grove Pier and The Point, where the ocean flows into the inlet.
Cherry Grove is the northernmost beach in South Carolina. It is a family-friendly beach, that includes local restaurants, grocery stores and recreational activities. We are also convenient to all of the attractions that North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach has to offer.
Our home features four cheerful bedrooms and two full baths. Two bedrooms, separated by a bath, are located on each side of the home, with a King in one room and 2 Doubles in the other, on one side, Queen in one room and 1 Double, 1 Single in the other room on the other side. All mattresses are of high quality and are new. Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans and cable TV, and some rooms also have VCR and/or DVD players.
The huge front-to-back living room and dining room area has a vaulted ceiling, that only increases the feeling of spaciousness. There is ample seating in both areas, and we have plenty of games, puzzles and books available for your use. The kitchen is fully equipped with service for 12.
Our covered front porch is a great place to relax in either the swing or rockers, or you may prefer to sun, in the afternoon and watch the sunset over the channel, from the huge 2 level deck on the channel side. Both areas have latching gates, that will help you to keep the little ones safe.
If you prefer a cool, shady spot for reading or just relaxing, you can almost always catch a cool breeze from the swing, hammock or rockers located under the cottage. A shuffleboard court is also available and a park-style charcoal grill is ready for your family cook-outs.
After a sandy day at the beach, you may prefer using the private hot-cold shower, that is located downstairs for your convenience. A washer and dryer are also available for your use.
If the excellent fishing in Hog Inlet is of interest, the public boat ramp is just a few blocks north, for those of you that choose to launch your fishing boat or jet skis daily. Our floating dock is also available, if you prefer to bring them in before low tide. Please note that our end of the channel is not accessible at low tide.
We have taken much care to equip our cottage with the comforts of home, and because we have recently renovated, you can be sure that things are new and up-to-date. Please contact us for more photos or if you have questions we have not answered here.
In order to maintain the family-friendly atmosphere and extra-clean condition of our cottage, house parties, motorcycles and pets are not allowed.
Your request for rental information will be received by our management company, and we, the owners will be copied. We use this management company because they are able to provide additional amenities to our guests, including the availability of rental linens, a reduced cleaning fee to all renters referred to them by this VRBO account, and the ability for you to use credit cards to pay for your stay. PLEASE NOTE: You must indicate that you are an owner referral in order to have access to these special amenities!
