A guest of our villa related to us that they were in love before their stay in our condo, but after a week in Cayman, it was like a renewal of their love that they had never before experienced. If privacy is important to you, the Villas of the Galleon has more beachfront per villa than any other on Seven Mile Beach. The landscaping is lush with tropical plants. If you're not a sunbather, enjoy reading a novel while listening to the gentle break of the waves under the shade of Australian Pines.
What we think is most special about the Cayman Islands is the people. They are probably some of the most friendly, sincere, easy-going people of the world. While driving in Cayman, you will probably have lights blinked at you to allow you to enter traffic in front of others. There is very little crime in Cayman. It is perfectly safe to take a beach walk at night to your restaurant of choice. Cayman is also an extremely affluent island which boasts gourmet restaurants that rival Aspen and New York. One of our favorite dinners is going to the local fish market in Georgetown, buying fresh fish and having dinner on our patio watching the most beautiful sunset in the world. It doesn't get much better!! And for scuba divers you will find some of the best diving sites in the World!!
Seven Mile Beach is simply seven miles of some of the most beautiful beachfront property in the world. The sand has the texture and color of sugar and is a favorite of people who enjoy beach walks. If you have never seen Caribbean water, it is this shade of turquoise that is so beautiful that words don't do it justice. There is very little turbulence (perfect for little children) and the temperature is generally like a bathtub. Cayman boasts an average temperature of 82 degrees year round, with gentle ocean breezes.
We have decorated our unit with brand new appliances and furniture as of Spring 2006. We chose to commit to higher-end furnishings for our own enjoyment as well as the enjoyment of others.
Location: between the new Ritz Carlton and Westin Hotel in the middle of Seven Mile Beach (widest part of Seven Mile Beach) Would the Ritz choose a bad location?? You are within walking distance of most amenities, including an americanized grocery store, if you choose not to rent a car.
