This is a very cute house, This comfortable, classic Santa Fe adobe-style house has all of the amenities to make your stay enjoyable. Thick adobe walls surround the lovely front patio, looking out to the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. A coyote fence addition, with grape vines, makes the garden even more private and quiet than ever before. The back patio is perfect for eating outside or sunbathing on the lounges and breathe in the scent of blooming rose bushes, grapes and morning glories . Shaded from the sun in the mornings, it is calming to sit out on the back patio, drink coffee and watch the robins and butterflies and flowers.
The newly decorated house has new furniture and beds. There is a large romantic bedroom master suite with king-size bed, 300 count linens, comforter, and pillow shams, and plenty of feather and regular pillows make for a heavenly restful sleep. A second bedroom with a queen-size bed, comforter, pillow shams and regular pillows are relaxing. There are two twins in the third bedroom.
We have free WiFi - High speed DSL that you can plug into, so bring your laptop. Satellite television - Dish Network with many movie Channels, Two televisions, one in the front room and one in the master bedroom, have built in DVD and VCR. We have many guide books for places of interest as well as a full selection of materials about Santa Fe and New Mexico for touring, shopping, playing and dining. We also have Board games, cards and dominos.
In the kitchen you will find plenty of dishes and serving pieces, mugs and bowls and glasses of all types. You will also find a large selection of spices, oils, vinegars and other "staples" for cooking. We supply a cooler to take along on your outdoor adventures. There is also a full sized washer and dryer.

Smaller pets are very welcome provided you agree to clean up after them on the property and in the neighborhood, with a refundable $125 pet damage deposit. Calle La Mirada reserves the right to decide whether to accept pets depending upon their size and the length of stay.
Special attractions include the World Famous Outdoor Opera; 5 World rcognized muesuems including the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum and International Museum of Folk Art; Jazz Festival; Festivals and crafts--including Spanish and Indian Weeks in the summer, when the downtown plaza is filled with local artisans, both Hispanic and Native American; Albuquerque Fiesta/Balloon Festival in the fall; Chili Fest; visits to the 17 Indian reservations nearby; ancient archaeological sites and ruins, Taos, Los Alamos, Madrid, and the Turquoise Trail. Georgia O'Keeffe visited and lived in Santa Fe and loved it, so will you. |
