A lot of space for a good size group at a great value. Has all the amenities you'd expect plus some extras (pool table, hot tub, sauna). You'll stay wam and cozy here, enjoy!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time at Lauraway. We had four families with ages 10 mos - 74 years and everyone enjoyed it. There was plenty of room for everyone to sleep at night and congregate during the day. All the adults loved getting up early and having coffee on the deck and the kids loved "exploring" in the trees and watching the chipmunks. The spiral staircase may prove a little tricky for kids < 2 but our 74 year old parents maneuvered it fine :) The owners were very accommodating and the house was in a very convenient location for everyone to do what they wanted (eg. rafting, shopping, 4WD roads, fishing, biking, Peak 8 adventure park, etc). We will definitely consider Lauraway for future group trips!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Great location and floor plan. The layout was great for multiple families. We really liked that the 2nd (middle) floor was just the kitchen, dining and living room. It worked well if people wanted to go to bed early and not be disturbed. The hot tub was the best we've ever used. The homes we have rented in the past always seem to have a few jets in the hot tub that don't quite work properly. This hot tub was perfect. All of the jets actually worked....and worked WELL! Location is prime. So close to town, but secluded enough to be nice and quiet and have some privacy.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

A lovely home to spend with family and friends. Very warm, cozy and comfortable. Enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool table, and sauna. Very well stocked. It was great working with E & T. everything went very smooth with rental etc.. Thank you so much. My husband and I travel quite a lot and we were very impressed with this property! We took our 3 young boys here with 7 of our employees (single, twenties). The place was very close to the shops and slopes, was beautiful, clean and well maintained, very cozy and complete with everything we needed in a home away from home! The floor plan was perfect for us! There are 3 floors and my family took the third, while the single guys fit perfectly on the bunk beds and queen on ground floor. Around the house was a safe and great place to have snowball fights and sled for little kids. The jacuzzi was heavenly after a day in the slopes! Our friends/employees were able to play billiards and have a good time by themselves and we had our privacy upstairs, while being able to all hang out at the 2nd level eating and watching TV and just chilling. There was plenty of room to just sit, lay down, run around, eat, and just be together enjoying everyone's company. It was the perfect combination of privacy and bonding! We were even able to conduct our annual business planning presentation on the living room. Tony and Elizabeth are professional and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home, especially after going through flight delays and snowstorms. I don't think staying in a hotel or condo would have allowed us an amazing, relaxing, safe, and fun vacation. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family and anyone who is looking to enjoy Breckenridge!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We loved staying at Lauraway! We combined two families for Thanksgiving and had more than enough space. The huge dining room table allowed us to fit everyone at the table at one time. The kitchen was spacious enough to allow multiple cooks in the kitchen. And the best part was that there was always something new for everyone to do. There is a short trail to a beautiful creek, a hot tub, sauna, pool table, and then the massive main floor great room for everybody to lay down and watch movies. Couldn't have picked a better place for our Thanksgiving vacation! All of this, combined with outstanding communication from the owners means we will be coming back without a doubt! Lauraway was a perfect fit for our seven adults and five kids(ages 14,7,5,4,and 3). Its location out of town along the Blue River and just off Rte 9 was great.it was close enough for a quick trip into town and far enough away to feel isolated in the woods.The house set up was ideal with bed rooms above and below the kitchen and living room. The kids loved the space and used it well for their arts and crafts. The jacuzzi was a wonderful accessory and great for relaxing and refreshing.We truly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and grill for our cooking enthusiasts. We had some good running, hiking,and biking while there.The kids loved the Peak 8 fun place despite some ling lines. Some went horseback riding and most did a gold mine tour.High fives for those. The place was as described and shown.The owners were helpful and responsive.They have done a great job of maintaining their property and facilitating great stays by guests.We recommend this property highly!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We never heard a sound from others the entire week we were there. The owners are outstanding to deal with in every step from planning, paying, and staying. The staircase from the lower level to upper with in the house is a spiral and we were concerned for our 1-1/2 year old. The owners supply a child gate and it worked for us. We had a great time over the 4th of July in Breckenridge. It was wonderful to sit in the hot tub and enjoy the mountains every morning. The setting is very peaceful and beautiful. The house worked out great for us. Plenty of bathrooms and enjoyed having the 1/2 bath on the main floor. Great gathering place for families. We spent a cosy winter week at Lauraway and had an excellent time. The house's levels make it very easy for members of a group to not crowd each other. All the facilities in the house were great and clean. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to my communications in the reservation process. Lauraway's location makes it very easy to access everything in Breckenridge, while still being just a bit removed from the bustle of being in town. My whole crew of 13 recommend the house very much.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We had a total of eleven family members and friends who traveled from Missouri, Texas and California to spend five days together during Spring Break. The Lauraway property easily accommodated all of us. The main level was great for cooking, eating, and hanging out. Some of the people were not skiers, so they simply dropped off or picked up the skiers at the gondola or at the base of the slopes. The time to accomplish this task from door to slope was approximately 10 minutes. The house is very close to town with a very nice setting. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of skiing. It is very family oriented with a playpen for a baby, a high chair, sleds, as well as various toys for little ones. The spiral staircase between floors could be difficult for older folks or those who have issues walking. Overall, we had a great experience and would certainly recommend the Lauraway property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

This year (2011) we took our family and friends to Breckenridge and were lucky enough to find Lauraway to call home for the week. Everything from booking to the last day of our trip went so smoothly. We could not have asked for a better time! The house is located just south of town, allowing a nice quiet stay without the hassles of traffic, but close enough that travel to the mountain is a breeze. We used this house for a week with about 10 people and found that we had more than enough room and privacy. The pictures on this site can only give you an idea of how wonderful this house looks. We were all thrilled when we entered the house for the first time and found just how spacious and inviting Lauraway is. For the price and the location this is a best buy for sure! My family and I will surely be making a return trip to this magnificent getaway next year!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This house is great. We had 4 adults and 7 kids - plenty of room for everyone. The pool table on the ground level is great as well as the hot tub. Location is perfect - you feel like you are in the complete middle of the forest but are only a tad more than a mile from Breckenridge. Perfect location. Very comfortable the large living room with TV is nice and the kitchen is plenty big to cook for a larger group. I highly recommend!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
