Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: My husband and I have been married since 1988 and we have two grown up girls Viola ,23 years old and Agnese 20.
Why the Owner Chose Capannori: My husband works for an important company and he has always been spending weekends doing open air works in the garden,as this is a way to relax. So far, he was dying to the idea of buying an olivegrove. When we found this property, with a little house inside,it was love at first sight. The little house had to be restored and it became a big house. It was very expensive so we decided to rent it.Hence, during the rental period, from spring to autumn,
my husband takes care of the garden, the oliveyard and the pool.My daughters, Anca,a friend of ours and I, take care of the house. It is a really nice way to be in contact with people coming from all over the world. Please, come to visit us,we are looking forward to meet you.
The Unique Benefits at this Chateau / Country House: The property is at the top of a hill and there is a spectacular view on the little medieval hamlet of S.Andrea di Compito.
The first time we saw it, we felt in love with two lemon trees standing at the main entrance of the house and a fig tree in front of it.It was like to be in a picture, that's why we did everything we could in order to keep them. When you walk into the olivegrove, it seems like the time has been stopped. This place is so quiet, and makes us feel so relaxed, that seems to be in peace with the rest of the world.
