Travel up the paved 400 foot driveway to this custom-built, upscale chalet situated on one and a half acres. Begin your vacation by taking in the lovely view from the decks and porches of this private location in the Smoky mountains of Murphy, NC.

The chalet features a loft bedroom with a king-size bed, a large, private screened-in porch and a private bathroom with a 72 x 40 x 29 freestanding air-bath tub for two and a separate large, tiled shower. The tankless water heater ensures there is always an abundance of hot water.

The great room features a beautiful view through a wall of glass. The gas-fired stove backed by a stacked stone wall adds to the beauty of the room and the view. Additional entertainment includes a 40" LCD/HD satellite TV, DVD player, DSL wireless service, unlimited long distance phone and much more. The futon and overly comfortable loveseat can be opened to sleep two more.

The first floor bedroom offers sleeping for two on the daybed/trundle beds and has its own patio door leading to the front porch. Satellite TV and DSL wireless connection creates your own little den. The downstairs bathroom also features an extra large shower.

The fully equipped modern kitchen with Silestone counters, black granite sink, fine knives, collection of spices, bread machine, Cuisinart, utensils, etc. provides all you could need. The breakfast bar is a nice setting for a casual morning meal, or you might step outside onto the screened porch and enjoy the fresh mountain air. A large gas grill provides the opportunity for cooking a delicious meal and dining "in the woods".

The chalet is wheelchair friendly with added ramps, wide open spaces, and an extra-large shower in the first floor bathroom.

  • We truly enjoyed Jill's cabin which was an 'Escape from the Real World' for us for a weekend.....something we all really needed. We celebrated my mother-in-law's 70th Birthday and my son's 13th Birthday. Jill's lovely home is equipt with everything you need to prepare delicious and tasteful meals. Me made homemade ice cream with her electric ice cream maker to compliment our Birthday cake. We hope to visit again.

  • My husband and I stayed at Jill's 'home' and thoroughl enjoyed ourselves. She has furnished it with fabulous, new furniture and the kitchen has more than mine at home; all the amenities. Great location as well. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch off the master loft area. We will return and undoubtedly stay at Jill's if available.
