Playacar's newest and most beautiful condominium complex, Paseo del Sol, has only 65 homes. The complex says 'luxury' when you enter the attractive reception area and look out over the longest pool in Playacar. At 90 meters in length, the pool is the focal point of the property. It has a water feature, beach entry, kid's pool area, and even a 'swim against the current' feature for exercise.

Amenities at Paseo del Sol include: tennis court, gym, business center, concierge, maid service and a terrace bar on the third floor of the reception building. Views from the terrace are to Cozumel island on one side and sunsets over the golf course on the other side. These features are what you would expect at a luxury resort but these are privately owned condominiums - not timeshares!

Our 3 bedroom condo is located in a private, quiet area of the Cenote building. We face the golf course and are surrounded by trees and a dry cenote. You have the feeling of being in a tree house when you look out of the wall of windows in the living room from our 2nd story location. Our home is almost 1500 square feet and sleeps six. Two of the large bedrooms have balconies. A gourmet kitchen and washer and dryer will provide you with the conveniences of home. Our tropical furnishings and local art work provide you with the 'Mayan Riviera' feel of the area.

We are located directly across from the Reef Club in Playacar. This hotel has an on-site dive/snorkel shop with daily trips from the beach on their boats. Reserve your snorkel/dive tours early so you are sure to have a space on their boat. We have a free daily pass available to use The Reef Club's beach area and lounge chairs. For $40/day per adult (a smaller fee for children) you can also eat, drink (including alcoholic beverages) use their non-motorized water toys and bicycles until 6 pm. Also available on this beach area is parasailing, wave runners and banana boat rides for an additional fee. They also have a night pass available for purchase for dining, dinner show and their night club.

There are pedestrian paths in Playacar to the 'city' only a 10 to 15 minute walk (or a 3 minute and $5 cab ride) from our condo. The town has shopping, dining, the ferry boats to Cozumel and live entertainment nightly to entertain and amuse you. Playacar is a safe, gated area that has a golf course, bird aviary attraction, some Mayan ruins and a shopping area all within a short walk from Paseo del Sol. The quiet residential feel of Playacar is a nice refuge after the lively action and noise of the town of Playa.

For activities, our on-site concierge will help you with tee times, tours, dinner reservations and suggestions of the many, many things to do and see in the area. Our location is ideal. 40 miles from the Cancun airport, 5 minutes from XCaret, (a not to be missed park) as well as proximity to Xel-Ha, Puerto Aventuras, Tulum and Akumal for fabulous snorkeling. The on-site property managers can assist with cribs, extra house cleaning services, private cooks and any other needs you may require for your vacation. They are friendly and very helpful and will make your vacation that much more enjoyable.
