This is our second time at this particular condo and once again it has exceeded our expectations! We were looking for a home away from home and we got exactly what we were looking for!!! We had 3 children with us with the oldest being four and never once did they get bored with the stocked movies plus all of the many amenities of the resort, plus the family fun center in destin helped with keeping them active!!! We had a blast and are already looking forward to our next stay! Thank you again Marv for the easy communication and hassle free check-in! Also the boardwalk is next door which includes restaurants, bars, and sweet treats!!!! Also condo/resort was very quiet and calm!!!!!

Family Spring Break vacation in a PERFECT place

The pictures do not do this condo justice! What a beautiful place in a perfect spot! We took our adult children and grandbaby here for spring break and it was perfect! The condo is bigger than the pictures show and the balcony is very large and is the perfect spot to sit to drink coffee in the mornings and just relax in the evenings. The lazy river and all the pools made our stay the perfect paradise. The short walk to the beach over the skybridge is great. I could go on and on about this place and the area. We did not want to leave and the kids are already trying to plan our next stay. Thank you Marv and family for sharing your piece of paradise with our family and for the great directions and recommendations on things to do see and places to eat in the area. Extremely clean condo! Very quiet setting! Very relaxing! the balcony was more spacious than the photos provided! We will be staying again in April and I can't wait! Perfect, perfect, perfect for families! Thank you Marv for everything!

This condo was perfect for our family of four. Very quiet, overlooking the lazy river. Fast walk to beach. Very convenient to all Destin has to offer. We will definitely stay again!

WOW !!! GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!! WE ENJOYED STAYING AT THIS CONDO MARV....WE HAVE TWO CHILDREN A 2YR OLD AND 12 YR OLD AND SHE BROUGHT ALONG A FRIEND...THEY ENJOYED THE LAZY RIVER THE BEST...MY 2 YR OLD WOULD WAKE UP EVERY MORNING AND GO THE THE WINDOW AND SAID "MOMMY POOL"....WE REALLY ENJOY IT AND DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE...IT HAS THE PERFECT VIEW OF THE BAY AND LAZY RIVER...EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN AMAZING!!! WE HAD FAMILY MEMBERS COME UP TO STAY WITH US DIFFERENT DAYS AND COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW AMAZING IT WAS...DEFINITELY WE WILL COME BACK...

The perfect condo for the perfect stay

From Feb 13 - March 14, 2009 my wife and I, and for one week, our daughter, our son, his wife and 19 month old son had the most enjoyable fun time in this spacious, tastefully decorated, very clean condo. Our every need were met and surpassed; absolutely nothing negative to say. As we opened the door and stood in awe, “fantastic, simply amazing, can you believe the size, awesome, HOW WONDERFUL” were just a few words that came to mind. And that was before we saw the three bedrooms, the fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area and the large patio. The master bedroom with its ensuite containing a full size Jacuzzi-jetted tub, a huge shower and a double sink vanity rivals any 5 star hotel. The view from this bedroom and the patio left us breathless and tongue tied; the calming waters of the bay, the three heated pools, two hot tubs, and the lazy river winding its way through the palm tree laden tropical surroundings. Our little grandson used the patio as his own private play pen. Add in a 3 minute skyway walk to the Gulf’s white sandy beaches, a 10-15 minute drive to everything, Destin’s West helpful resort staff and a most accommodating owner in Marv and you can begin to understand why we did not want to leave and cannot wait to return. We loved it!

Every year our family comes to Florida for a family vacation. By family I mean the family, 11 of us this year. For the past eight years we stayed at SeaSpray. This year they told us they were booked, weren’t very nice about it and suggested you guys. We are VERY GLAD they did. We have had the best time. The lazy river was enjoyed by the whole family. My cousin and I used it to work out by walking backwards against the current. My 3 year old nephew love the “hot water” (hot tub). The walkway to the beach was great as well. It made walking to the beach with an excited 3 year old so much easier. I at least am anticipating our next trip, and hopefully our stay here at Destin West. May God Bless You!

Loved the condo and the complex. Very clean with everything we needed. We enjoyed many good restaurants- Pompano Joes, Anglers, Osaka, and often finished the evening on the balcony enjoying the view. The water and weather were a bit chilly at the beginning of the week but there was plenty to do- shopping, fishing. It was nice having both the beach and the bay available. Our group consisted of some family and a few friends and we are all in agreement. This was the most perfect condo that we've ever rented. It was clean, attractive, comfortable, spacious and the view is simply awesome. As for Destin West, I have never been so pleased with any resort. It is the place we've looked for all over Florida and the East coast. The beach is amazingly clean, the water is crystal clear, and on both the beach side and the bay side the landscaping is immaculate. The lazy river is a tremendous amenity that everyone enjoyed. Covered parking is a pleasant perk, too. The resort staff was friendly and helpful. I can't imagine anyone not being pleased by a stay here.

A short stay, but we made every minute count! We spent our early mornings at the beach and evenings at the lazy river. We had the best family vacation staying here. This condo is the best! Our favorite thing to do was taking a fishing trip with the Inshore Anglers at the Harbor Walk. It was exciting and so much fun for the entire family. We caught the largest fish with the 7 pound grouper worthy enough to weigh in at the fishing Rodeo behind AJ’s. A piece of advice to the ladies if you decide to go and you should take pictures! So the boys can’t tell untrue tall fish tales on you and say they caught all the fish like the scoundrels in my bunch! It was a blast! Go to Inshore Anglers and ask for Captain Nick. We ate some great seafood while staying here. We ate at the Crab Trap, Anglers, Popano Joes, and High Tide. The best was High Tide! The best oysters ever!! We will come back again and try to stay here again! It was all great!

I just got back from my first ever vacation without the kids in your condo. There were 9 of us in all and we had plenty of room. I got the top bunk and felt like a kid again except it was much more comfortable. I had the best time ever. The condo is beautiful. I loved the lazy river and the pools. I so much enjoyed staying at my home away from home. I am going to come back next summer, but I bragged so much about my trip, that the kids and husband are coming with me this time. They will love it. Thanks again for such a lovely condo! I really enjoyed it.

First time in Destin area and we were not disappointed. The accomidations were outstanding as well as the complex. Our kids (2) brought a friend each which allowed my wife and I time to relax. Fishing and crabbing was a treat for everyone and we were never disappointed in the restaurants. At night we enjoyed the beach walks and just playing cards and eating seafood. I considered coming back to maybe another complex but that was voted down by the rest of the clan. See you another year!

We had a great time—some rain early in the week but didn’t spoil anything! Condo is beautiful—pool and lazy river were wonderful. This is our 3rd time here and we love it. Last time we rented the “other” condo upstairs—they are both beautiful. We love Fort Walton and love Destin West.

What a fabulous condo!! Our family had a wonderful time at the beach, the many pools, and of course the lazy river! (a huge hit with our five year old!) we loved sitting on the balcony sipping our morning coffee or eating our after dinner ice cream. We ate at a cool restaurant called the Red Bar on Grayton Beach with great food- worth the drive! We will definitely be back!
