Thank you dear Peggy and Lorraine! Everything was even beyond our expectations - we found beach toys, towels, cooking wear, dishes enough for 3 adults and 3 children. The beaches nearby were clean and uncrowded, no parking problems at all. A large golf field just in 5 steps from the window - another pleasant surprise! Children used it as a playground, we hardly saw any golf players. And the island manager was always on the phone, we got all the necessary information from her. We will definitely come back!

As it was last year, the condo is the best! It really feels like home -- our home on Maui. The new king bed is very comfy -- the fresh paint, very nice. You keep 1205 so well stocked -- cooking a few meals and watching the sunset as we ate continues to be a favorite activity for us. Bill and Adam snorkeled nearly every day. Wow! Thank you very much for letting us stay in this wonderful paradise, a home away from home. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. This place is the perfect location! All the amenities and so much more. The view is spectacular! We loved the sound of the birds in the air along with the beautiful flowers all around. Truly felt like Hawaii as I imagined it. What a magical experience we've had! Maui is absolutely stunning - a piece of paradise. This condo was perfect for us - so comfortable and like a home away from home. We loved keeping busy during the day with the various activities and then returning to our condo for a refreshing swim in the fantastic pool - ideal! Our little boys were so happy to be here. Having the huge lawn off our lanai allowing them to run around and explore was also sensational. We will definitely be recommending Maui and condo #1205 to all our friends and family. Aloha Peggy and Lorraine ... We had a wonderful stay and 1205. Your unit was very comfortable and had all the comforts of home. We were greeted with a sweet package of cookies and the cool tradewinds. Such a nice welcome! My girls ages 5 & 7 have become veteran visitors -- 5th and 6th visits respectively. They immediately felt at home here. We even found that our resident neighbor is from our home town Sacramento and that we had mutual friends there. What a small world! We had a great time in Maui & enjoyed every moment of it. Your place is a perfect location for our family of 4. It was our first time in the Hawaiian Islands. We spent 3 nights in Oahu and are heading for the Big Island today. We enjoyed our stay here very much. The condo was perfect for our family. It had everything we needed for the beach where we spent much of our time. The breezes off the lanai in the evenings made it so relaxing and easy to unwind. We found the condo so comfortable to come back to after snorkeling, driving to Hana, shopping, hiking, swimming, etc. It was our home away from home. I loved how quiet Wailea Ekolu is particularly in the evenings. We also enjoyed looking at the stars off the lanai. Amazing! Maui was amazing! And so was our stay here. This has been our second stay at 1205 and not our last. Our stay was absolutely amazing! We snorkeled Molokini and Turtle Town, drove to beautiful Hana, learned to surf, ate shave ice, watched the sun set every night (from our back yard) and loved every minute of it. Maui and Ekolu 1205 is our second home. I highly recommend a massage at the Grand Wailea and if you enjoy golfing there are many courses to drop off the man, so you can get pampered. We could not have asked for a better vacation. We had a fantastic time & the condo was perfect for our family. We are just coming to the end of our first trip to Maui. What a fabulous place! We had a great relaxing time exploring the sights & visiting the beaches. Our favorites are Palauea & Po'olenalena - quiet & beautiful. A few days ago we discovered Makena -- wow! We even got to swim with turtles today. What a way to end the holiday! ... What a great place to stay! Easy access to the beaches in Wailea, great restaurants, Kehei, and more. The condo is perfect for a family with a fully equipped kitchen, well appointed bedrooms, and nice touches like beach equipment, plenty of towels, CDs and movies. There's plenty to do in the area. Be sure to visit Makena Beach with the boogie boards!

My husband,son,daughter in law and myself spent spring break March 10-18-07 at Ekolu . We loved the condo and the fact that it was on the beautiful Blue golf course and was just far enough away from the crowds!! It was so quiet,beautiful and serene...We did have alot of rain, tho...but it didnt stop us from seeing and doing everything! Big Beach was our favorite, but all the others were so close too and very beautiful...We hit all the golf courses that were close and they were spectacular and the food was great at "Seawatch" at the Emerald and Diamond golf courses....we loved it all and hope to be back soon!!! We occuppied this unit from July 19-25 of 2006. It is a great unit. The space is more than adequate and the grounds are quiet. It is close to the beaches but you must drive, takes 2 minutes tops.That is actually a good thing because there are probably six beaches close by and you will want to go to different ones for different things. Wailea Beach is good for snorkeling. Save the 39 bucks you woul spend on a shokeling tour and see the turtles here for free. They are by the coral reef.If you are going to stay in Wailea you won't do better especially for the price and location. My only comment would be that I wanted a gas grill as opposed to charcoal. There's nothing like instant fire.

Owner response:The rental condos in Wailea primarily use charcoal barbeque grills (due to liability & cost issues). Privately owned propane grills are common to owner-occupied (not rental) complexes.
