This recently renovated vacation home gets rave reviews. Guests enjoy the space, light, Douglas fir floors and windows, interesting art, comfortable furniture and modern amenities. French windows open from the living room to a large, two stage deck partially shaded by wistaria and clematis, where you can sit with a coffee or a glass of wine to enjoy the ever-changing colours of the ocean. Or the whole party can eat out there, table and chairs provided, with the Italian spiral staircase providing a short cut down to the lower deck, the hot tub and the garden.
The state-of the-art ventilation system provides fresh air and comfort to the whole vacation home year-round. There are two comfy Queen size beds, one up, one down, with two single beds also upstairs which can be placed together, if desired. The other single (bunk) beds are particularly popular with children. Wheelchair access to the house is through the side door, with wooden ramps continuing around the house leading to the lower floor, garden and hot tub. There are also aides for the toilet and the bath tub. (For six years we have welcomed disabled children and their helpers for their annual holiday). Many others come regularly, from frisbee golf tournament players to nature-loving bureaucrats winding down. All thoroughly enjoy their stay in this fabulous BC vacation rental.
