My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to North GA. The owner was very helpful and responsive with his emails and even checked in with us to make sure we got in ok and had everything we needed. If you forget something, no worries, there is a convenience store nearby and even a restaurant that is perfect for people watching. The cabin is very easy to find and get to. We enjoyed staying here and would recommend this to our friends and family. It is very difficult to impress me with the cleanliness of a place when we travel but this cabin is very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend getaway. I loved taking naps in the upstairs loft bedroom, there was just something about that room...We loved the fact that the cabin felt secluded but it was still convenient to all activities we wanted to do, such as biking and hiking. My husband is an avid cyclist so he took full advantage of being able to hop on his bike and ride pretty much from the cabin doorsteps. I suck away to Dahlonega for a prenatal massage at a local spa while my husband was out riding. Everyone there is so nice! We didn’t mind not having internet or cell service. Although, my Verizon phone was able to send and receive texts which came in handy to check in with the family. AT&T phone had no service; it was NOT an issue for us at all. It was nice to unplug and get away from it all. I don’t think we even watched TV while we were there…we read books, played games, cooked, enjoyed the fireplace and each other’s company. We had a very nice time here and overall a good experience staying here. We hope to come back soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This year our family decided to do something different for Christmas. So we decided to change it up a bit and get a cabin in the mountains. We must say, we could have not picked a better location. This cabin was great. We had several families join us and no one had to sleep on the floor. It had so much space and no one felt as they were in anyone's space. The cabin was well maintained and had a beautiful layout. The children had lots of fun with all the toys that were there. And some of us adults realized we brought to much as the cabin had lots of stuff, such as towels, pillows, blankets and kitchen appliances. We highly recommend this cabin to anyone who is looking to get away but yet feel at home. We look forward to coming here again in the near future. Oh yeah, Christmas was great.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Excellent location, excellent house and excellent dealings with the owner. The pictures do not do this place justice and the Appalachian Trail really is right there. We had a very relaxing stay and my 4 year old grandaughter loved every minute. I highly recommend it.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The pictures and location are accurate/current. It is a GREAT place to stay. For the bikers, the driveway can be a bit tricky but is mostly hard-packed. We had no issue pulling in/out even in a pretty hard rain. But don't forget your kick stand "foot". Your sidestand will sink into the ground without it (if it's wet). The cabin is simply PERFECT. The roads (again for you bikers) are the best in the country. It's also a GREAT drive up to the usual tourist traps (The Dragon / Deals Gap). But if you take time to explore the area roads you most likely will be much happier. Only negative is no cell phone or Wi-Fi/Internet (although not sure everyone would consider that a negative). I highly recommend it!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks Charlie for the review. For future bikers, we have an 8' x 8' concrete pad poured to help with kick stand support. Our location in the mountains and National Forest can make cell reception challenging. AT&T cell phone service is tough unless you walk up the hill (25 yards), where full reception can be acheived. Verizon cell phone service can receive texts inside the cabin and cell reception for calls outside the house. There is also a hard line phone to assist with communication.

Very organized setup. We made a last minute reservation, Tombo helped us get everything completed quickly. The list of things to do helped us in completing everything on our to do list. The cabin is a great place to spend family time, and comfortably slept 8 of us. Cabin has everything you will need to relax. Thanks again for helping us have a great vacation!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This cabin was exactly what was advertised, and met all our needs. We wanted the cabin as a home base for a cycling camp, and each morning we were able to roll right onto the course. We all enjoyed it very much, and it was perfect that the owner, Tombo, was very very quick to respond to any questions we had. We'll absoluetly be backRecommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a great time at this cabin! The owner was very easy to rent from and this cabin has absolutely everything he has promised (and more!). We were planning on a low key relaxing weekend, however, fun activities like hiking, fishing, swimming in waterfalls...were just to much fun for my family to miss out on and we stayed busy the whole time. We stayed a full week & hope to go back again in the late summer. Great location, spotlessly clean cabin, professional owner- five stars from my family!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Why the Owner Chose Suches:
Our cabin is located right next to the Appalachian Trail and bordering the national forest. We love hiking and decided on this location based on its proximity to the trail. It is located just off the trail in Henry Gap, which is between Woody Gap and Blood Mountain.
