Walk off the front porch to the national forest and AT, canoe and swim in nearby state parks (Lake Winfield Scott one mile, Vogel State Park six miles), fish/hunt, and shop and eat in nearby historic Dahlonega. Cyclists can also ride mountain sections of the Tour de Georgia.

Less than two hours north of Atlanta and located in the heart of the Chattahoochee National Forest, this location is perfect for an outdoor adventure or a relaxing retreat.

  • As a repeat visitor to the North Georgia area, this cabin has become my favorite. I have stayed here numerous times with several different groups of friends. It is perfect for a cycling vacation which is what I love but also hiking, swimming, mt. biking, wine tasting or just relaxing. Everything you need is here and the cabin is just gorgeous.
