This home has views of the Basalt Cliffs, the Columbia River, and is located end of the street next to a cherry orchard - so peaceful and quiet.
Master bedroom has king-size bed and adjoining luxurious full bath, the second bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. Both bedrooms feature top of the line Simmons Beauty Rest mattresses, down pillows, and down comforters. You will sink into these luxurious beds and enjoy the peaceful vacation sleep that you desire. The living room has two American Leather queen plus sleep sofas designed (without metal bars) for the utmost comfort. Our lovely lodge can accommodate 4 adults comfortably and we welcome up to 4 children!
The living room boasts a romantic river rock fireplace which creates ambiance and also hosts a 42 inch Plasma TV. A five CD player, DVD, and VCR players with top-of-the-line speakers are provided for your entertainment.
Enjoy the "chefs kitchen" complete with all major appliances, kitchen gadgets, beautiful Fiesta Dinnerware, Linen Napkins, and all the luxury items you can imagine, including an automatic coffee grinder/maker. You dont have to bring a thing!
Three beautiful Community swim Pools and a hot tub are just steps away from the door. Two tennis courts, baseball field and basketball court are the newest additions this spring. A sandy beach and boat launch on the Columbia River is a very short walk. Concerts at the Gorge just 15 minutes drive. There are two golf courses at Crescent Bar. The newest Sunserra golf course and club house (with fine dining) are just steps from the door and the famous Highlander Golf Course just a 20 minute drive. There are restaurants,coffee shops, resort-wear shops, mini golf, ice cream shop, hiking trails, local wineries to visit and more - something for everyone in the family!

Joseph is retired Sea Tac Operations Manager and Joan has 20 years in Real Estate. We live in a downtown condo and love to spend weekends at Crescent Bar. Son Jon above is an EMT and assoon as he saw people boating on the river, he was hooked and bought a 2007 Glastron.
Why the Owner Chose Crescent Bar
Only two hours from Seattle and summer comes earlier to Eastern Washington. Joseph plays golf, Joan loves the swimming pools and Jon heads for the Sand Bar in his boat. We love to share our home with others when we are not using it.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Our favorite is sitting in the hot tub, just 25 steps from our front door and looking at the millions of star that we do not get to see in cloudy Seattle. The SunFire Grill is great for dining and we love Thursday night dinners at our favorite winery, Martin Scott which is close by. Sunserra's golf course, the ball field for running our dog, 5 swimming pools to choose from and fun meeting all the other boaters at the boat launch and at the infamous Sand Bar down river.

The owners are meticulous with details. Everything is perfectly explained. The house is spotless with everything available from modern kitchen, new washer/dryer, and comfy beds! We came up from Calgary, Alberta to see the Dave Matthews Bend Caravan over the Labor Day Weekend and were blessed with the most beautiful weather and sunshine!! We are sitting on the deck now absorbing the last few hours before we return home....abd we can't wait to rebook for next year. Thank you!!!

My family stayed at the Blue Heron Lodge Vacation Rental recently over the 4th of July holiday and we all had a really nice getaway and time there! The location in Cresent Bar is fairly close to Seattle, (two hours and 45 Min.), yet worlds away. The vaction rental is a very accomadating space and very nicely decorated. Nice hardwood floors and great space and floor plan! Really nice kitchen and family room area. There are many amenities there such as a gas grill, washer dryer + more. The location is very close to two pools and right next to a hot tub. I would highly reccomend staying at this location and rental. Great family or couples getaway! ** Very Clean. Nice furniture. Nice complex. Great Floorplan. Great amenities. Many pools in complex with a variety of offerings. Nice grassy areas for soccer, baseball wiffle ball near by. Nice resuraunt in complex. Par 3 golf course there in complex is very nice too. Has very large greens and is in excellent condition. Set up more like a regular course than a Par 3. Cresent Bar, River and small village are near by as well.

July '07 - Had a nice, relaxing time. The Condo had what we needed and it was very, very clean. There was someone nearby, so if we needed something, she was there. Would definitely stay at The Blue Heron Lodge again!

Amazing accomodations! Great layout with cozy lodge decor. The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. Great end unit with sweaping view. Steps from the hot tub! Will definately stay again!

Forget the campground! We styed at the Blue Heron this last summer '06. We loved it so much, we visited twice! It is first class all the way! The house and area have everything to offer for the entire family. I have used and visited several VRBO's in the Northwest and this house and area provide anything you are looking for from water sports, golfing, wine tasting, concerts, and nearby fly fishing. Bring your boat, clubs, and food. You won't need anything else! We will be back and back again!!!!! Thanks Joan and Joe~!

Everything the ad says, this home is luxurious, comfortable, beautiful, but kid friendly. We are boat nuts but loved the convenience of the pool being a few steps from the house. Enjoyed lots of lawn separating us from the other homes and the peaceful, quiet bedrooms next to the orchard. This is a class act.
