Villa Glendora is a 1920s Mediterranean-style house that has been updated with modern comforts, and has maintained many of its original charms. We are located just a few steps from the sand, on a quiet tree-lined street, in the heart of Belmont Shore. Belmont Shore is a laid-back beach town, yet with close proximity to Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego County attractions. From Villa Glendora, it is only a short drive away from many of Southern California's most famous destinations.

The Villa is your perfect vacation home to relax, rejuvenate and explore. We are only half a block from the beach (~ 50 yards) and a few blocks from shops and restaurants on 2nd Street. Within a short walk, you can stroll down the street to Starbucks, shop the trendy, friendly boutiques and then relax over a meal or cocktails al fresco, at one of the many fine restaurants in Belmont Shore. Treat yourself with a massage or salon treatment at one of the many neighborhood salons or day spas. Ride the Passport Bus, down 2nd Street to Downtown Long Beach for further dining and entertainment possibilities, or take a quick boat ride to Catalina Island. Belmont Shore is a great place to enjoy sunny Southern California coastal living. There are plenty of fun beach activities to enjoy, including swimming, sunbathing, kayaking, kitesurfing, or bike riding. We also offer free access to the Belmont Plaza Olympic Pool as an amenity included with your rental. Villa Glendora is the perfect place to make your base while either exploring the region or simply enjoying the ocean breezes and picturesque views from your own private beach villa.

The Villa has a wonderful interior and beautiful hardwood floors throughout. It has a Moroccan living room with antique wood furnishings and a formal dining room. The bright, sunny kitchen has a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and entertaining. There are two spacious master bedrooms with queen beds, two twin beds in the 3rd bedroom, one queen sleeper sofa bed, and two full bathrooms on separate floors. Our outdoor patio has been professionally landscaped, surrounded by majestic Italian cypress, a growing olive tree, various citrus, camellia, a Japanese maple and a blooming crepe myrtle. It will be your private retreat, where you can enjoy the warm lazy summer nights after watching sunset on the beach.

  • I was reminded of all the wonderful things about Belmont Shore. The beach was a short 1/2 block away which made my 12 year old very happy. Easy access to the Naples boardwalk was great for morning walks with my dad. The 2nd Street shops and restaurants were just a 5 minute walk which made all of us happy. We parked our car on Friday and didn't move it for a week!

  • I decided to spend my 30th BDay in Long Beach and am so glad I did. Everybody I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful (aside from the staff at Panama Joe's... DON'T GO). The Villa Glendora property definitely surpassed my expectations. It had everything I needed and more. The location is perfect. And it is very reasonably priced. I have no doubt that I will be back.

  • The house is extremely charming and cute. There are plenty of spaces for 3 adults and 4 girls. The neighborhood is fairly quiet and certainly beautiful. The beach is accessible, parking on the weekend is challenging but not impossible. Leslie the manager could not be more helpful. She is not only flexible but trying to meet our needs in every way. We definitely would stay there again.

The location is ideal with the beach just being a few steps away and the wonderful restaurants and shops on 2nd street just a 5 minute stroll up the street. In addition to the charm, cleanliness and comfort of Villa Glendora, the quaint neighborhoods and friendly people in Long Beach made our trip a perfect one!   • My wife and I hosted our family at the Villa recently (not enough space at our place in Pasadena) and we all had a wonderful time. Especially enjoyed the sunny, breezy Belmont Shore weather; gorgeous garden & patio with ocean view; short strolls to 2nd St for Peets coffee, sushi and shopping/browsing; and easy access for trips to Downtown Long Beach, Disneyland, and San Diego. The price was reasonable, and the house far superior to others we looked at. The property manager was friendly and helpful too. Highly recommended.

  • Lovely home away from home in the best part of Long Beach. After a long day in the office, nice to come back to a place where restaurants are a few blocks away in one direction and beach is one block in the other. The Sunshine at Jamba juice is not bad either.
