I stayed at Anne's the week of Oct 22,2011. The cottage was awesome. My small dog and I enjoyed the week - went for long walks and to the ocean. I have been looking for a place to go every year where I feel comfortable and I know I have found it. There were many things nearby such as grocery stores etc so you didn't have to travel far. Anne is a lovely person. See you next year.

This is the first time we have stayed at Anne's Sea View Cottage and it was a wonderful experience. We arrived on a cold rainy evening, which by morning had turned to snow. But the warmth of the hospitality could not have been better. Anne ;made us feel right at home and the accommodations were superb from the bed to the shower to the kitchen to the living/dining room to a multitude of amenities. And the setting on the ocean was magnificent. We saw Maine at its best. The town and the surrounding areas are well worth visiting and I can imagine no better place to stay when enjoying the charm of coastal Maine.

This year was our 3 year at Anne's and as usual we had a great time. Anne is a gracious hostessand the cottage is as described. The cottage fits our plans and lifestyle very well and the surrounding area is rife with activities. We brought our 2 dogs with us and there is lots to do with them, from walking the breakwater lighthouse (just up the street) to walking the boardwalk in Rockland. Camden, just up the road, is very dog friendly in fact the whole state is dog friendly. Another bonus was Dave's seafood (read: Lobster) truck just around the corner from Anne's on Rt.1. Very fresh, very reasonably priced. Can't wait to come back next year.

I have stayed at Ann's numerous times over the past few years. The location is centrally located yet secluded. I have stayed in the late fall and winter, we can see the ocean/bay from the deck. The house is well away from the road so we never have to worry about our boat and personal property. Yet, Wal-mart, Home Depot, grocery store and other stores are within walking distance around the corner on a nice day. We basically show up with our personal cloths, the cottage is fully furnished. We then drive around the corner to the large grocery and purchase our groceries. There are numerous tourist places to visit within a short drive. Transportation museum, Maine Prison carpentry products store, fishing wharfs, villages and various restaurants.
