This former duplex for coal miners was built in 1938 and has been tastfull upgraded to provide our guest with the modern comforts of home. Our Cozy Cabin is a fully furnished 2 bedroom, 1 bath log cabin home located on Onarga Avenue in Paonia, Colorado.
In its current incarnation, it is a tastefully decorated and cheery one family house. Wood floors, colorfully painted walls, a fabulous tiled bathroom, a shaded three-season sitting porch and a fully-fenced backyard with full size picnic table and gas grill, are just some of the features that will make your stay at Our Cozy Cabin a relaxing vacation.
Our Cozy Cabin is located within two blocks of Downtown Paonia's diverse selection of cafes, restaurants and independently-owned shops. It's superb location allows you to walk or ride one of our provided town bikes to the library, post office, banks, bookstore, movie theater, art gallery, and public radio station. Elms, Maples and Cottonwoods line Onarga Avenue, making it a shady neighborhood oasis to live at during your time in the North Fork Valley.
While Our Cozy Cabin does not have air conditioning it is very well insulated and stays cool all summer long with the help of shade trees and misting fans.
We do not provide cable TV or any TV channels. In lieu of this we have an entertainment center (see amenities) with an extensive movie library. We are located only two blocks from the local movie theater and news programs are available by tuning into our locally-run public radio station KVNF.

We're Greg and Stevie, that's short for Stephanie! We like to joke that we've been married all our lives. It's been a long time :) We have two daughters and three grandchildren and we're happy to have earned the names, Granny and PaPa. Our 3 grandchildren live in Paonia, CO. and we're in Michigan and it's been tough being so far from them. But not any more! Our Cozy Cabin has become our retreat any time we need our "grand-kids fix".
Why the Owner Chose Paonia
We bought "Our Cozy Cabin" because we missed our grand children so much! We live in Michigan, they are in Paonia. We now have a little get away just blocks from the grand kids. Sleep overs at Granny and Papa's! Yippee!
