We rented this property for New Year's and we had a great time! It is very cosy, clean and well-maintained. It is close to everything and we actually liked the fact that we were not in downtown South Lake Tahoe! The property looks better in person than the listing photos. The house was fully equipped and we did not miss anything. We had two infants with us and we appreciated the baby gear and the fact that everything was so baby proof. The owner was very nice and helpful and we would definitely be staying there again! Thank you for sharing your house with us!:-)
Owner response:Thank you, too, for being great guests! Happy to have you stay again and again. The Dalys

this is our 4th stay at this property. we have been up 3 winters and 2 summers. the first visit was with a group consisting of 4 couples and the other trips with our children and other families. this is a gorgeous house. wether you are coming up with just adults or you are here with your family. the house is great for entertaining. our visits are always pleasant. the house offers every amenity we need. wireless, a fully equipped kitchen, a 3rd story deck with stunning views (we love hot tubing in the middle of the trees), barbecue, spa bath, a few lounging areas. our visits are always the same... cooking, drinking wine, hiking, snowboarding, hot tubing, just general hanging out. there are loads of trails close by for hiking. you are a 5-7 minute drive from the Y. the property has hardwood floors, is clean, cozy, spacious, and sunny. it is not too traditional and not too modern. the location is in a nice neighborhood close to fallen leaf lake. after staying in some of the grotty neighborhoods in the heart of south lake tahoe, we were very pleased to find this gem. we recommend it highly.

My husband and I love this beautiful home! It's comfortable, spacious, cozy and conveniently located. As someone who loves to cook, it’s so exciting to come upon a place that has all the kitchen appliances, cookware, etc that you’ll ever need to make a delicious meal. The owners also provide a folder at the house full of information on restaurants, hiking trails, events and things to do in the Tahoe area. Highlights include having a picnic in Fallen Leaf lake (which is less than a mile away) and hiking around Echo Lake (which is one of the most gorgeous hikes we've ever taken). The house is ideal for a group of friends or a large family. We're already looking forward to our next stay there!

The house is gorgeous...and perfect in every way... For two workaholics...with laptops in tow...what a pleasure to have easy internet access... Just enough of a slope in the back yard for a sled run... I think the snow-blower was going within 5 minutes of arriving... A true big boys toy...!!! We will be back...!!! Thanks!!!

Lovely house - beautiful, comfortable, big enough to find a quiet spot or join up with friends for a BBQ! I won't be staying anywhere else when I go to Tahoe, this place has it all. And for those of you who haven't tried Tahoe in the summer, it's a real treat - good golf, great hiking, refreshing lake swimming, topped off by cool nights in the huge hot tub off the living room! Thank you for sharing your home, it makes my stay in Tahoe a real vacation every time I go, Dana

You know when you really need to relax? Well, this beautiful home in the Mountains of Tahoe gives you every opportunity to get your fun on at Sierra Tahoe resort during the day and kick back comfortably in the jacuzzi at night. Perfect for 2 families to share, lovely living space, lots of natural light, all the essentials and more. Easy in and out from the highway. Definate spot to visit and revisit!

Thanks for the wonderful vacation in your cozy mountain home last winter. Cruised some fun groomers at Sierra one day and found some fresh powder at Kirkwood the next. Really liked the proximity to the mountains and the rest of the South Lake scene, but it's just removed enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the forest. Not sure my joints could have withstood the weekend without the nightly soaks under the stars in the hot tub, either. Thanks again, looking forward to the next trip.

We loved the house. It was very well furnished and stocked...everything was perfect. It is close to Sierra, Kirkwood and Heavenly and only minutes from the State Line. Our family will certainly stay here every time we visit Tahoe.

We loved this house!!! All the bedrooms are nice and comfortable. Great kitchen to cook in and socialize with all of your guests. Two family rooms for kids and adults to enjoy. Nice big hot tub on deck and close to Sierra at Tahoe for skiing.

This house is perfect for a summer or winter holiday! We've stayed during both seasons and couldn't have been happier. The ski resorts are close, as are shopping areas and hiking... The house is set up great for kids as well! We have loved our stays there!

I have lived in the Bay Area 10 years and snowboarded every mountain in tahoe and had no idea this neighborhood existed. Next time we'll bring more of our friends because there is plenty of space and it's super quiet. Parking may be a problem for more than 4 vehicles in the winter because this neighborhood is a bit higher than lake level and gets more snow.

This is a gorgeous property in a quiet, wooded setting, close to many lakes and the slopes. It is very well appointed to make your stay a pleasant one. It has plenty of room to spread out on either floor or the ample spa deck overlooking the nearby mountains. We can't wait to return.

The owners of this house have made vacationing easy. Your only decisions are when to ski/swim/ hike, and what time to jump into the hot tub. The house sleeps eight without anyone having to draw straws for a sofa bed (and over ten if you do!) The place is spotless and has almost everything you would ever need in the kitchen. This is Tahoe done right - close enough to the action to have fun, far enough away to have tim to yourself.
