The Apartment is located on the second floor of a typical majestic Eixample’s building with elevator. The apartment has been recently refurbished, preserving elements that give the stately air of the typical houses of the modernist quarter of Eixample, and adding the necessary elements of modernity and design to create a perfect combination that will allow you to enjoy a comfortable stay.
It has two double rooms, one of them with an en suite bathroom. The main bathroom is placed opposite to the other bedroom. The kitchen is completely equipped and it is close to a spacious and comfortable living with a double sofa-bed. The dining room is placed in the antique gallery of the house, a calm and luminous space, which leads to an exterior balcony orientated to a typical interior of block of the Eixample.
Location:
The Apartment is located in one of the main streets of Barcelona, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, with great communications by public transport with all the interesting tourist points of the city. If you want to go by metro (nearest metro station is 100 meters away) you can get Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas in five minutes and any other tourist area in less than 10 minutes. In the same way, you can enjoy a 15-minute walk through the heart of Eixample quarter as far as Plaça Catalunya or Passeig de Gràcia, enjoying the wonders of architecture of catalan modernism.

We stayed here at the end of July 2011 and had a great time in Barcelona. The flat was very centrally located near to Plaça d'Espanya with convenient access to 2 different metro lines and also to a small grocery store. The flat had plenty of space for our family of four and was very clean. The agent who let us in was there on time and was helpful in locating attractions. He also gave us a tip on where to find free parking in Barcelona (it was a long way away, but we did not need to use our car when we were in the city). I would definitely recommend the location to others visiting Barcelona. The only negative features were that there were almost no amenities on hand, so we had to immediately go to buy things at the store, such as sugar, soaps, paper products and other essentials that some rentals provide. Inside the flat, it was a little noisy because there are no carpets and many hard surfaces. Overall, a great value and comfortable place to stay.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

Overall, this apartment fits the bill for a longer stay in Barcelona. The positives include the fact that it is very spacious for a rental, has wifi and a washer and dryer, a decent kitchen and the apartment manager is very attentive and solved our broken washer problem quickly and professionally (this was a big plus - we stayed other places in Europe where after they took your money all bets were off). It's a little out of the main tourist areas, but we found this to be a plus because we were in a "real" neighborhood with great little local places to eat. The negatives, which weren't really that big of deal but could easily be fixed, include no international/English tv stations, absolutely nothing left in the kitchen (usually there's at least salt, sugar, etc. from previous guests), and at least 1/3 of the bulbs throughout the apartment were burned out and there were no replacements (this was the biggest and most fixable negative). Overall, we would recommend this apartment!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, families with young children, sightseeing.
