Yosemite West is inside Yosemite National Park. It is only a twenty minute drive from El Capitan and Yosemite Village, and all the main attractions of Yosemite National Park. This is also the closest lodging for Badger Pass Ski Area, with downhill and nordic skiing--only eight miles away from your door.
This Yosemite West home is located just a mile from the Glacier Point Road, so you are very close to Taft Point and Glacier Point, the most spectacular views of Yosemite Valley.
The Hummingbird Raven House is a newly renovated and furnished home, with a spacious deck high in the trees.
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a half bath. Upstairs are two additional bedrooms, with a queen size bed and four bunks. All beds have down comforters and pillows. A convertible sofa-bed in the office sleeps 1 to 2 more guests. Note: we cannot accommodate more than 10 guests at a time.
This house is equipped with a full kitchen, a large dining table and deck dining furniture.
There are two separate entrances for the lower and upper floors. Please be aware, there are a few steps leading to all entries to this home.

The Unique Benefits at this House
Yosemite West is inside the Park boundaries, so it's a perfect location to enjoy Yosemite (20 minutes to Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point, and close to various trailheads). It has the advantage of being very close to the Badger Pass ski area, and being at a higher elevation than the Valley, which keeps the temperatures more comfortable in the summer months.

This is the best house we have stayed at in Yosemite West -- It is very cozy and tranquil. The location is hard to beat -- It is removed from the bustle of the Valley, but still convenient to the Valley, Wawona, Mariposa Grove and other attractions. The beds and common areas are very comfortable to lounge in after full days in the Park. While the spiral staircase might be hard for some, our family (three generations) enjoyed it. The owners are very easy to deal with on email, and clearly thought through how to make the house as functional as possible for their guests.

We stayed at Hummingbird Raven house in April, and it was wonderful. The house was clean and warm, and a great place to return to after a day of skiing with the kids. The little ones enjoyed making snowmen on the porch and having snowball fights in the yard. The selection of movies for the DVD player was unexpected, but welcome. We had fun playing the board games provided as well. We look forward to visiting again!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Merveilleuse maison, au calme, dans les bois, bien située, fenêtres et terrasse donnant sur les arbres. Elle est luxueuse, claire, très propre, bien équipée. A recommander!!!Wonderful house, in the woods, very quiet, luxurious, windows and deck have trees' view. Very easy to find the fisrt day, to open, etc... Don't miss superb holidays and book well in advance, it's worth it!

We LOVED your house! It was such a welcome environment and were all so comfortable there. My children liked the fact that the sheets on the bunk beds were different colors so each of them could sleep in sheets that were their favorite color!The only regret that we have is that we didn’t book more time there. I was a little “type A” about hiking and seeing sights so we really didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked to.Thanks for making this transaction so easy as well.We will absolutely keep the Hummingbird Raven House in mind for our next Yosemite trip!

This house is beautiful, and decorated with wonderful taste. The owner is very pleasant to book with, and was very friendly and helpful when I made the booking. We loved the location and the furnishings, and will definitely stay here on our next visit to Yosemite.

I had a wonderful stay at this rental. It was extremely easy to do business through emails and the website. The location is perfect and the price is the best you will find within the park. I hope to rent this place again on my next trip to Yosemite.
