Pine Meadows Ranch is a beautiful hidden retreat in the mountains just outside of Park City. You are secluded from all the hubbub, yet only a 15 minute drive when ready to re-enter civilization or to go SKIING. Fish or party off the deck over the pond.

You can Cross-country ski, or Snowmobile just setting foot outside the door in the winter. During Summer you can Bike, ride your horse, ATV or hike, again just setting foot outside the door. 6 person Jacuzzi downstairs and a 4 person wet steam room upstairs. A truly unique opportunity.

We have had it designed with the cozy cabin feel. Just sit around and wait for the moose and deer to drink from our cabin pond.

Re’treat (noun): a period of quiet rest and contemplation in a secluded place, a quiet secluded place where people go for rest and privacy, a place where people or animals go to avoid danger or capture.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes

This has been our primary residence since 1992. We just started renting it out on a part time basis and stay with family when we have guests.

The Unique Benefits at this Mountain House

We love to be able to snowmobile, snowshoe and cross country ski in the winter and fish, hike and ride our ATV's in summer, right from the house. We also love the fact that we can fish for rainbow trout while sitting on the back deck!

    • What a perfect mountian getaway! Our entire family loved the place. It's very spacious with beautiful mountain views. We had a delightful time in Park City but mostly we enjoyed hanging out at Joe's home - playing cards, watching movies, eating out on the deck, taking hikes, and celebrating time together. We got great pictures of 2 huge bull moose, and also saw elk, porcupine, loads of chipmunks, and the big trout in the pond. A fun time was had by all. Thanks Joe!John & Judy Kwiatkowski

    • A true mountain getaway. It was great to have such a nice place to relax on vacation. Yet the house is an easy drive to all of the ski resorts in the area. We would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful retreat.

    • We spent the first week of February at this wonderful cabin. The views were amazing...we especially enjoyed snowshoeing and sledding right outside the cabin doors. And the fabulous Park City ski resorts were an easy twenty minute drive. The cabin was spacious and very comfortable. We absolutely loved the seclusion and beauty of this place!

    • 1/11/09-1/17/09 We stayed at the Rush's for our first ski trip to Utah and had an incredible vacation. This was by far the most peaceful place we have stayed on our ski trips(we have always gone to Colorado in the past), and the drive up to the Cabin is a breeze -stick to Joe's map and don't trust GPS. Outstanding sunrises from the front porches, and millions of stars and several shooting stars at night. The cabin is very comfortable. Joe made us feel right at home, and the steam shower was great for us Southerners adapting to the low humidity that always kills our sinuses out West. Hope to bring the wives out next time. Also, easy to get to the Sundance festival too, but far enough away to avoid the traffic also. Thanks Joe!

    • An outstanding cabin to spend winter holidays! My family and I enjoyed all of the accomodations that this cabin offers. Owners are exceptional. Great get-away and still close to all Park City activities. Highly recommend. We will definitely look to stay again.

    • Ten of us stayed here for a week in early July, 2008. We had a wonderful time. The cabin is comfortable for adults and children. The dock and pond are perfect. Kids were occupied for hours TRYING to catch fish, going out in the boat, climbing on the rocks, and givng performances on the dock. Adults could relax, luxuriate in the calm and beauty, and just enjoy. We went into Park City and Deer Valley. There are dozens of things to do in both of those places also. The cabin was a great get-away.
