Welcome to la Casa di Vino established by the Boudreau Family November 2005.
Casa diVino is a cozy Lake cottage located on the West Side of Cayuga lake 10 miles South of Seneca Falls, 25 miles north of Ithaca and in the midst of 15-20 of New York's finest wineries,as well as in the best fishing and duck hunting territory on the lake. Perfect for a family of four or two couples to get away.
Two bedrooms, queen beds, one full bath inside and outside secluded shower on South side of house footsteps from the south bedroom sliding glass door. Cottage has full kitchen, Vermont cast propane gas stove for chilly nights, or a fire pit outside for romantic campfires. Huge wood deck with the best views of the lake for miles. All tile floors, Great room has picturesque view of lake.
Please bring drinking water, water supply is filtered lake water.

This place was recently remodeled and its super cute, and clean. The deck is awesome. The place is small but it was fine for what we needed. Cooked there both nights. The wineries are really close and the large parking area across the street was perfect for walking the dogs. I would definitely stay here again !!!! Thanks so much. Shelly and the kids.....Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

When we arrived in October, I was most disappointed to find the house very unclean. I called the owner to inform her that I was concerned about the cleanliness and wasn't sure if she was aware . She said she checked the house herself and everyone has a different idea of clean. So, we opted to clean it ourselves, but after trying to make the best of it we left the following day and checked into a local hotel for the next two nights, choosing to forfeit the money that was paid. I let the owner know, via email, that it is a cute little cottage but it needs some TLC, including minor repairs. Did not get a response from her. -- I will say to be fair that there were many positive guest comments in the guest book on the counter. We just didn't share the same feelings about our stay. I loved the cayuga trail, although I would recommend trying the Seneca Trail for your first visit to the Finger Lakes. There are many more lodging options.Owner response: I am always disappointed when some one is not happy. I will advise that I did not make the customer pay for the balance due even though the contract was to pay the balance on arrival. Luckily in my five years of renting I have not had a complaint like this.

Wonderful cabin right on Cayuga Lake. Visiting 10 vineyards over the long weekend. Cabin is an escape with everything you need enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Lots of outdoor activities if the weather cooperates. Centrally located on the west side of Cayuga near Cobblestone Farm vineyard. Only slight negative was the noise of the box spring but it didn't inhibit sleep. Would recommend to anyone and will stay again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
